Savanna Inn & Suites

What guests think

At Savanna Inn & Suites, travelers consistently praise the friendly staff, overall cleanliness, and the convenient shuttle, while noting trade-offs like inconsistent breakfast offerings, a closed or unreliable hot tub, and occasional maintenance or noise issues.

The location is convenient for area attractions and nightlife, set on a hill near the river with easy access to Poopy's and downtown. Rooms are generally comfortable and sometimes spacious or scenic, though some feel dated, with reports of hard beds, small TVs, or fixtures needing attention. A few guests reported check-in mix-ups or curt interactions, and some considered the price high for the amenities. Overall, expect a clean, convenient stay with straightforward comforts.

Water in the pool looked cloudy, no hot tub! Breakfast was minimal, no meat like bacon or sausage. Biscuits and gravy was pretty good. On our 2nd day we went out for breakfast as there were not enough choices.

The beds were very hard, the tv's small, the price was too high for the minimal ammenities, The breakfast was ok. The whirl pool in the pool area was permanately closed. This was one of the draws for us to stay there. We overheard another guest commenting the same issue, that the website listed the hotel as having a whirlpool and even showing a picture of it. If we knew we didn't have whirlpool access, we would have stayed elsewhere.

The first room we had, the air conditioner wasn't working. Originally the front desk person has somewhat of an attitude. Being defensive as though we were the problem. They got better once I expressed our disappointment in their attitude. After moving two times we got in a room that worked for us. The desk attendant apologized for their attitude expressing family issues and new management concerns
