This was our second stay here and we had a great time. The home is still beautiful and very comfortable and clean. Our host was very responsive when we thought we might’ve had an issue. It was a lot colder and windier this time around so we didn’t make much use of the outdoor patio, but we did get in the hot tub. We will come back again.

We had a group of friends stay in the house for a single night. It was clean, roomy, and looked exactly like the pictures. The amenities including the hot tub and fire pit provided a great backdrop to relax and catch up. Pool and Ping Pong tables also a plus. Many social areas and bedrooms comfortable. The community is lovely and quite but a bit distant from Lancaster if that is your destination. Overall, great place and experience

Wonderful Home, pictures don’t do justice! Very cozy and welcoming. plenty of things to do after a long day out, wonderful morning memories as we cooked breakfast and kids enjoying ping pong table, backyard and other amenities!! We loved the hot tub with speakers. Lovely neighbors. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful specially for runners like my daughter. We will definitely be back. Thank you Ben.

The property was exactly as advertised! The house had charm, and was extremely comfortable. It was perfect for hosting our holiday family gathering; heated outdoor hot tub, functional grill and table with fire pit, great gaming area for the teens, and plenty of open space for celebrating. The owner, Ben, was responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back at Ben’s place in the future, should we decide to visit Lancaster, PA.

Stayed with family for a long weekend to enjoy Christmas activities in the area. This house featured a serene, pastoral setting with excellent amenities. Plenty of activities for the teens to enjoy (ping pong & pool were favorites). Also, the hot tub was a hit and we got plenty of use out of that. House came with a well-stocked coffee bar which was perfect for us. Very, very clean and comfortable property. We loved it.

Ben is absolutely amazing as a host! We travel quite often and this is one of the best properties that we have stayed in. We traveled with three generations, aged three to well seasoned. From the 1st floor game room to the well appointed den, replete with a pool table and air hockey. The property has more then ample space for young ones to stretch out and play. The outdoor patio is a virtual oasis. The hot tub with Bluetooth enabled sound and ambient lighting created the perfect enclave for the adults to enjoy some tranquility and serenity. While we did visit Sight and Sound, the true purpose of our travels was to offer a brief respite to one of our sons and his family. They had the unfortunate experience of suffering through a devastating house fire. They were awakened by smoke alarms blaring. The fire burned their house to the ground. Even the studs and joist were rendered to ashes. Bless GOD that our son, daughter-in-law and their six kids all made it out safely, but with only pajamas and house shoes. The fire totally consumed all of their material possessions. I relayed these unfortunate circumstances to Ben and the way that he supplied and stocked the house convinced us that he considered the most minute details in ensuring that we would have an enjoyable stay. We generally travel to the area when Sight and Sound introduces a new production. On future visits to the area, Ben King will definitely be our host of choice. Thanks Ben for an enjoyable stay!

Our large family enjoyed spreading out in the many available spaces (basement, game room/garage, patio, sun room, living room) to enjoy moments of both connection and tranquility. Our family of five wanted a peaceful location for a brief getaway in Amish country, and this rental was the perfect fit! The house was clean and nicely furnished, with plenty to do. We enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table and hot tub. We didn't get a chance to try out the 4-person air hockey table, but it looked like it would be great fun! A small cupboard off the living room offered a selection of games, including our family's favorite, Dutch Blitz! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the horse and buggies go by. In the evenings we sat out back in the patio area and enjoyed the view and fellowship. This home is spacious with several areas for gathering and socializing. The sun porch is the perfect nook for reading enthusiasts. A second refrigerator in the garage provided extra space for cooling food and drinks. It was perfectly located in a rural setting, yet just minutes away from stores and attractions. I would recommend this home to anyone considering it!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this very clean, spacious, cozy and nicely decorated vacation home. Owner is very thoughtful in everything—different types of dishes for adults and children; games for kids; pool tables, table tennis and air hockey for teenagers and adults; coffee station is excellent, the location is also very convenient if you are visiting Lancaster and the surrounding area. We went to Sight and Sound, Bird-in-Hand, Tanger outlet, Hershey, and many nice local stores around the peaceful community. Highly recommended!

I brought my kids and their families here for a Christmas getaway. When we first walked in the door it was amazing. The house is beautiful and there is so much room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the animals in the back, the pool table got used a lot, along with the air hockey. We went to see the miracle of Christmas at sight and sound theater and I really recommend everyone go there and see one of their plays. I’ll be coming back next year to see Daniel. Overall it was a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend staying here, the host was great, the location was great and the house was amazing.

As advertised it was a 5 bedroom 2 and a half bath home with lots of entertaining room. We had 10 people sleep at the home and 17 for Thanksgiving dinner. We could have used a little more room in the kitchen, but we cooked a full dinner. The "kids" enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table and air hockey. We love football, so the TV's in the common areas were all used. Overall, we had a great time together and the home fit our needs.

This property was truly exceptional, a beautiful craftsman style home that was not only very spacious but also met the needs of our family. Unfortunately, on our first night, we were met with a very serious water leak from the bathroom into the basement which rendered us with only one shower for the eleven of us to use. It was challenging for the one night but we managed. We contacted our host Ben and the next day the problem was resolved. Ben was apologetic, he did offer us a partial refund for the first night and we accepted his offer. Thereafter, we went on to have a most memorable and enjoyable stay without further incident, enjoying both the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. You will not be disappointed in choosing this property because this vacation home has a lot to offer everyone, both adults and children. We will definitely stay at this property again in the future because of its beauty, charm, spaciousness, location and wonderful host. We had a great time, thank you Ben!

Booked this place for 3 days, as my now wife, and I got married. Had the groomsman, and bridal party all get together, and overall, was an amazing place to stay. Many things to do for entrainment, and very comfortable. Hose is super responsive. Check in was also super easy. Had a stress free stay, and besides that, a beautiful wedding, and great time with close friends. 5 stars goes to this place for me.

Ben was a fantastic host. The house was beautifully decorated and had more than enough space for the extended family. We will certainly visit this area and stay here again!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughters 30th birthday at Ben's home! It was clean and comfortable. Easy to access, keyless. We had 4 generation, 8 adults and 2 children. We were all very comfortable, plenty of space. Ben was a fabulous host! He thinks of everything, the house is ready for all your needs. I would highly recommend staying here! The location was perfect to enjoy all the attractions of the area. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Ben.

We had tickets to Sight and Sound and decided to rent a house for the weekend rather than stay at a hotel - this house was the BEST decision. Great location, wonderful amenities, and well stocked (towels, kitchen items, etc.). Everyone enjoyed the stay, the play, and game night at the house :) Thanks much.

We fell in love with the house and its decor and amenities. Very clean and uncluttered. Our young grandson loved seeing the nearby horses and chicken. We used the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub. It was very close to a grocery store that carried homegrown and homemade items which gave us a taste of Amish country. At first, I thought we were really in the middle of nowhere, but the host’s book showed places nearby with various places to eat. Our daughter in law said she love the fact that we were able to be together without having pressures of running around doing different activities. Our host, Ben, responded quickly to questions we had after arrival as well as questions we had before getting there. Highly recommend and we are likely to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home is located in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by farms, animals, and even horse-drawn buggies passing by, which made for a unique and relaxing experience. It was the perfect distance from the city and nearby attractions. Close enough to easily visit everything we wanted to do, while still enjoying the quiet countryside away from the crowds. The house itself was clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. There were plenty of activities and entertainment options for both the children and adults, which made spending time at the house just as enjoyable as exploring the area. The large open yard was perfect for the kids to play and for everyone to relax outdoors. The host was also fantastic with communication throughout our stay, making everything easy and stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty to do nearby.
