This is an interesting property for creating memories, close to everything yet one you can retreat to a quiet place and hear nature with a view of the lake. Well-stocked kitchen, very clean and tidy. It has one spacious shower that is not a bathtub, if that is important to you. We enjoyed our stay and think it is a great fit for a couple or small family. Great getaway - thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in this treehouse was great! The space was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout — cozy, stylish, and full of charm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals with ease, which made it feel just like home (but better!).The beds were comfortable, and the towels were fluffy and fresh — the kind of little details that make a big difference after a day of golf. The location couldn’t have been better — tucked away in a peaceful setting yet close to everything we needed, including golf.We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to branch out in style! 🌿

The cozy treehouse was not only beautifully designed but also utilized space brilliantly. The modern appliances & close to grocery store made dinner a breeze. Despite the record-breaking heat we were pleasantly surprised that the treehouse stayed nice and cool throughout the day.

Beautiful lake view. Cute place with everything we needed inside. Would be nice to have an extra kayak and paddles (paddle was missing for the one there). Luckily friend brought her paddle board so we traded off using her paddle.

This was a very unique property to stay at! It was conveniently located for my travels, easy check in and check out and clean. It was nice to be right near the lake for kayaking. I did get some communication back from the host to answer some of my questions, however, they didn’t answer all of my questions and once didn’t answer me at all. Luckily, check in went well and I didn’t need immediate assistance. There is an ironing board but no iron and there is a hair dryer. I would definitely stay here again.

Host was easy to work with. Tree house is quaint and location was good. Easy check-in and check-out. Could use some renovating (dated paint, chipped framing, loose floor boards in the bed room, laundry room is run down)...could also use a few luggage racks.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was easy to access with clear directions of checking/out with no need for messaging or contact (efficient). Space was well remodeled with minimal signs of age. Otherwise interesting layout and worked for what we needed / had proper amenities such as cook wear / plates and cups, parking was not as small as anticipated. We lived in Pinehurst many years, and this was a great get-away for our family. Cons - front door was hard to lock / unlock, some spots in floor creaked at night and felt "soft" & the washer ruined a set of my wife\'s clothes. I disliked receiving full details of the rental 48 hours prior (too late to cancel), but did not become an issue. Tried to extend our checkout through email but did not receive a reply. Overall, We Would visit again and wish we had more time to enjoy the area.

Treehouse was exactly as pictures showed. Bright and attractive. Location was not right at the lakefront but very close; lake Within view. Treehouse at the very end near the road A few minor details need attention to, like porch light burnout (an issue when climbing 2 flights of stairs to main entrance); not clean laundry room; some essential kitchen gadgets missing. Not a walkable area if that is what you are looking for, but very quiet amongst the fir and magnolia trees.

This treehouse was very well stocked for all our needs. It is in a very beautiful location. It was quiet except for the big crane that scared the bejabers out of us the first morning. We are not very tech savvy and were unable to connect to the WiFi. The first sliding door was unable to be locked from the inside, so we locked it from the outside and had no problem using the other sliding glass door. There were some candy wrappers left in the dresser drawer, other than that, the place was very clean. Loved the plush towels and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay and would recommend staying there again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Treehouse is very clean. Loved the views. Has everything you need. Very cozy. We only stayed 2 nights. The only thing my husband and I would suggest is maybe a updated Lock box. It is very hard to get into at night. We have been to other rentals and stayed. The others you just punched a code. Maybe a digital. Other than that , We absolutely Loved the tree house. Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. My only recommendations would be to install an actual front door & do some deep cleaning. The sliding glass door is not easy to lock & unlock. Also, most of the place needs to be dusted & under the fold out couch needs to be vacuumed. No real complaints, though.

Fair. I would not recommend this property to friends or family. Eg - there was no Welcome packet listing WiFi code or ANY details of the property. I had NO idea there was a washing machine dryer downstairs until the last day. The locks for the sliding doors did not function from the outside. No explanation on how to use the remotes in either bedroom. The floor next to the Master bed, felt like you would fall through at any second. The deck floor was beginning to rot away. The driveway was a rut highway. All in all it served its purpose as a landing spot for golf in the area, but it was certainly not what I expected. We were planning on using VRBO in early December for a trip to Marco Island, FL.

Visiting family in the area which we have done a couple times a year x many years for short visits and we like to try different places. Unique design lending to a unique experience. Found it equipped with necessary essentials, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. We had 2 adult couples staying here. The second bedroom was smaller than anticipated but we did manage to have 2 adults share that space. We knew the 2nd bedroom only had a full size bed so we weren't surprised by the bed size but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced - mattress was like cardboard and the pillows were flat. The location for this unit was perfect being close to many local attractions, it was quiet, and has a great view of the lake. We found walking and jogging in the area fine as traffic is respectful to pedestrians or a short drive to park and trails. We did not need to use laundry area and can not give feedback on that. Rental manager responded promptly to request for outdoor lights to be left on for late eve arrival but a second email on another matter went unanswered. Overall, recommend this unit to anyone who will not need to sleep in the smaller bedroom or unless the mattress and pillows get replaced which seems like an easy fix.

Great location on the lake. Quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the water. Very clean and comfortable for 2, a stretch for 4 people and quite a real stretch for 6 with two on the sofa bed. Nonetheless, a wonderful stay in a lovely home.

Overall this is a lovely house. I feel that the skillets need updating and the floor in the bedroom needs addressed. It felt like it was sagging and was very creaky. The place was clean. We loved the quality of the bedding and towels. Would definitely stay there again.

Maybe a digital. Other than that , We absolutely Loved the tree house. Would love to stay again!

Everything was so clean. The only trouble we had was doing the code correctly to get access to the key for unlocking the door. The shower was great, bed firm enough. The padded stools were a nice change. We enjoyed listening to the fish jump.

or communication. Would still highly recommend this property. I just am disappointed and quite frustrated with the management company.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stay was fine. Listing states there’s a Keurig meaning you’ll need K-cups. There is no keurig. I emailed to rental company with no response.

Location
Location is consistently praised as quiet and convenient to Pinehurst golf, town, and groceries, with lake and course views. A few noted GPS confusion finding the entrance or that the immediate area isn’t very walkable.

Great property and location! Only issue was that the GPS took us to the wrong section of tree houses and it was difficult to find the correct entrance in the dark. Otherwise the place was great, our kids loved it, and the location was excellent!

This place is great for a couple or a few guys planning their Pinehurst visit. The location was very easy to get to many places and a grocery store right up the road.

This adorable Treehouse was the perfect place for us. 3 of us drove to Pinehurst from Toronto and only stayed 3 nights, so it was a relatively short visit. Such an easy self check in and check out, that was one of the best features in the listing. My husband came for golf, and my best friend and I were doing a triathlon, so everyone was kind of doing their own thing. This was the perfect place for multiple reasons. Perfect location, close to the triathlon taking place at the Pinehurst beach club down the street, and close to most of the golf courses! My husband was only a 10 minute drive from both courses he was playing. Also, we walked to the Pinehurst Clubhouse both days, quick walk! Also a very quick walk to the town. The Pinehurst Treehouse was comfy, had everything we needed, great AC, and great layout for all our triathlon gear and golf clubs. It made our quick stay so pleasant. We will definitely be back every year.

We are familiar with the area so we knew it was a great location. It was a nice property for our daughter’s golf tournaments.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great spot to launch your Pinehurst golf trip. Management sent all the information needed in a timely manner and the house was a funky spot but has everything you need to enjoy your trip. We had two guys staying there and I wouldn’t recommend any more dudes staying in the house unless you like sleeping in the same bed because the house just isn’t large enough to sleep more guys without some awkward bedtime moments. I enjoyed my stay and will go back again if it’s just another guy and myself on a golf trip.
