The entire experience was very nice. Some the hotel was a little tired but it was overall very nice. Good bar. Limited breakfast menu in the restaurant. Would still recommend though.

For a 4-star hotel I was not impressed. The room was dingy, chipping on the walls and shower. Offered no free parking in the area. Paid $245 for one night stay and parking wasn’t even included. Had to pay an additional $30 to park on the street and pay and risk getting a ticket if you wanted to park overnight. Asked for a microwave to be sent to the room. 45 minutes and 3 calls/visits to the main lobby, we finally received a microwave.

Walkway from parking garage was locked and closed. Also, the elevators were down so we couldn’t park higher due to have to carrying the luggage down the stairs and we had to walk through the parking ramp.

Doors slamming in the morning was loud and annoying. Bed very firm. Room is spacious, great restaurant/bar, lots of room to socialize in the lobby area with game tables, sitting areas, etc. Great location on U of M campus.

This hotel was beautiful, you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Staff was very friendly. Parking was very convenient and fairly inexpensive compared to other hotels we have stayed at. Would love to see more hooks in the bathroom to hang toiletry bags, etc. Top Golf Suite is a little strange, there are 3 bays and the staff have to come open it up for you. You are basically left in there by yourself, no music, no-one to help when there are issues etc.

This hotel was so unique and fun. MN sports loving family so the decor and theme was spot on. We were in town for a college tour of the U so the location was also ideal. Walking distance to the campus tour, the stadium gift shop and multiple food/coffee options. The hotel restaurant food was delicious and large portions, our server was very friendly and entertained several questions about her experience at school which relaxed our nervous future student. Love the connected Starbucks and the inviting study spaces in the lobby, it felt like just another student center on campus.

Great Stay in the Heart of Campus! Centrally located on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus, this hotel is perfect for visitors wanting easy access to campus facilities and public transport. We somehow got a good rate here on a football game day, which was lucky. It did make it trickier to park but we were able to get in the Wash Ave ramp without a problem (connected via skywalk if you have bad weather). The hotel has really fun/cool decor, and our room was cleverly decorated. Comfy beds. The golf equipment was broken but we didn't have time anyway; it looked like there were other fun amenities as well. For parents of U students, there is no better location if the rate isn't sky high. Would definitely stay here again.

When I got to my room the bedding and pillows were damp. When I went to let the front desk know he apologized and gave me a new room right away. The bedding was damp in that room also. The manager explained that the rooms were recently turned over and apologized that the linens were most likely not fully dried. He checked another room before giving me a 3rd set of keys and did let me know I could call the front desk to have linens brought to the room at anytime if I needed. The 3rd room also had damp bedding. At this point I just admired everyone's effort and friendliness to make things right that I just hung the comforter over the shower curtain rod and propped the pillows up to dry while I went out for the evening. Thankfully everything was dry by the time I went to sleep. Even though the bedding was damp in 3 rooms the staff was great, and the rooms looked impeccable.

We arrived in August, before the start of their season and while their HVAC system was being updated. Thus, our room had an additional, portable AC unit in it to supplement their system. While not ideal, the staff were honest about the situation and the unit cooled the room well. The room was very clean. We enjoyed the attached restaurant, the Beacon, and we even played some air hockey in the lobby, which was a comfortable place to hang out as we met with some people. They had some free water bottles and complementary ice cream sandwiches! Very nice staff. When we visit UMinn again, we will definitely stay at The Graduate again, where we can walk to anywhere on campus.

Our room was disgusting. The small windows looked directly into air conditioning units. The only chair in the room was shredded. Lastly, there were spots of dried urine on the toilet seat. After I complained we were upgraded to a different room. However, that room had a previous guest’s opened snacks and wrappers in a drawer. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

We had an excellent stay at the Graduate Minneapolis. The king suite was clean, and warm (feeling). Great bed, perfect pillows and a great location. Would absolutely recommend the stay.

ThinkingFriendly staff. Food was great at restaurant and service amazing. Rooms are clean. The hotel doesn’t have a welcoming scent or smell. Towels are like sandpaper. Bedding smells clean but not fresh. Small beds they are NOT Queen but room and bathroom are good size. Limited parking. Nice location to walk on campus or for events. Any Options for food close.

Such a cool hotel, ambience is great, and beautifully designed. The common areas are great, bar was cool, and location was excellent. Staff was very nice. AC did not work and it was hot in the room. Requested 2 days in a row to have it fixed. Response per text was fast, but no follow up after that at all, and it did not get fixed. Stayed for 3 nights.

Faucet in bathroom wouldn’t turn off. Called the front desk and they said they were sending someone up. Waited and no one ever came. Left the next day with water still running. Housekeeping must have been able to get someone in there while we were out for the day because it wasn’t running when we got back. After a couple uses of the faucet, same thing started to happen. My husband hand to go under the sink to “hand tighten” a bolt so it decreased between a drip and dribble. Light in bathroom going in and out. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work either. Another outlet in room by the desk didn’t work either. Super disappointed and won’t stay again.

I loved the tram that took us directly to US Bank Stadium! The only huge issue we had is our room only had one working outlet so we could only charge 1 phone. The outlets in the fixtures and the USB ports were not functional and the plugs would fall out or loose which would be a fire hazard

We were assured that the AC would be working by Monday when we checked in on Saturday - so we decided to stay. The AC was still not working when we left on Wed. When we came back to our room on Tuesday, someone had turned the portable AC in our room off during the day. Our room was almost unbearably hot Tuesday not. I had my 76 year old mom staying with me.

Booked and pre-paid last fall for a King suite for graduation weekend. Checked in to find we had an ADA double Queen room and they were full. Front desk blamed it on the third-party provider we used (Hotels.com). Really? So what happened? I think The Graduate could get a higher price than what I paid and kicked me out.

The Graduate is an excellent hotel choice if you want to be right in the middle of campus. The last weekend we were there the hotel had three volleyball teams for a tournament, two wedding parties and it was move in weekend and the staff was perfect. Henry was exceptionally helpful and patient with every gust who came to the counter.

We really enjoy this hotel and have stayed there before, however I: I did not receive any VIP benefits I was supposed to and very disturbed to see a $10 “destination fee” added for each night we stayed. We were paid for this room at booking and were never informed of this. When I called the desk clerk said that Hilton adds this to every booking and that it may not be visible when booking is done through Expedia. This is very troubling. The clerk said that this $10 fee includes certain hotel credits that we were never informed of…nor did I hear any other guests being told of this when they were checking in. Adding fees without being told is a disturbing practice. Those booking at Hilton properties through Expedia should review their bills.

Our first room was too hot and humid to sleep in comfortably. The shower also did not drain. I had to ask multiple times about it and after engineering checked the AC and agreed that it wasn’t working properly, he gave us a fan. He did fix the shower for us. I asked the next day if we could switch rooms, which they did allow us to do. The new room wasn’t much cooler (we had the air set to 65, but it only got down to 72), so I asked for a fan. The front desk agent said they had none to give us. I called the front desk a couple of times during our stay and only got through to someone half of the times. The times I did get through, it took a very long time for someone to answer. When staying at the graduate, part of the perks are that you have access to the university rec centers. This includes the pool. During our stay, we were not able to use the pool because of a swim meet taking place there. We were not informed of this when we booked. Overall, the facility is nice, and the bar staff was nice. I don’t think I would return though because of the previously mentioned issues.

Check in was a little rough. Despite it being 5:45pm, no one was at the counter. Then, there was in issue linking my reservation to the room, which took check in a long time. Our friends staying here were given the wrong room type but were comped free breakfast. The gentleman at check in was very apologetic and kind. The decor here is fun. I have Loni Anderson leering over me while sleep. My son and his friend enjoyed the gaming tables and the adults enjoyed the space to sit and have a drink. Will come back if my son picks U of MN.

I stayed here because my husband was having organ transplant surgery 2 blocks away at the University of Minnesota hospital. I learned after i had already booked my stay that there was a discounted rate i qualified for as a spouse of a surgical patient. I asked staff to fix my rate but they would not bc i had used a 3rd party app to book. Instead they offerred me a free bottle of water. Really? Not cool. Great restaurant and restaurant staff

I can't believe there's a better location if you're going to a Gophers game. In addition, the light rail is across the street and it is extremely easy to get to Target Field or US Bank Stadium on the green line. Perfect location and the hotel is unique in the best way. Loved the hotel.

Great location for U of M orientation. Walkable to campus and multiple restaurants. Parking was full but parking garage adjacent to hotel was easy - even has a walkway connecting to hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved everything! This was our first stay at a Graduate property and I was really impressed by every detail to connect to the university and city. The lobby was so unique…games to play, quiet spaces, cozy seating…just the best. The food at the restaurant was great and offered many choices. We ate dinner and breakfast there and both were awesome. The staff was so good. Well done Graduate!

Excellent stay for out son's dive meet. The Staff was excellent, friendly and quite fast. We had small toilet issue and it was fixed 10 min later. Having Starbucks, Chick-fil-a attached to the hotel is very nice. The hotel restaurant, Beacon Public House was also excellent. Food was a lot better that we expected!

Stayed at this hotel for the Giants Vikings game. Was convenient to take the train to the game. Room was nice but a bit lacking. Didn't have a free water bottle or basic things to expect from hotels. Convenient to have Starbucks, Chick Fil-A and a restaurant on premises. Let us check in early.

Sad that there are no restaurants bars or fast food open in and around Graduate after a night basketball game. Can’t understand why the bar in the Graduate closes so early? If it’s about safety hire security but this is a bummer and I rate the hotel Lowe because of this.
