We checked in the afternoon/evening on Sunday September 6. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The main property and room were clean. For the disappointing parts: We booked a room to take our grandson to the aquarium. We promised him pool fun and a hot tub. There were several hotels in the area with a availability and at the same price, but Stay bridge just happened to be what AI suggested for our criteria. When we got there, the hot tub and pool were closed. He was so disappointed and now we're checked into our hotel in the late afternoon and unable to plan anything else for him. I'm very irritated we didn't get some kind of comp. I made it very clear that was the reason we chose that particular hotel. Also, several of the surrounding hotels offer free EV charging. This hotel did not. Although that wasn't promised to us, I'll just book a room for the same price somewhere else that does offer it.

The room was clean and comfortable. They need to update things. The soap compartment of the dishwasher was broken. They didn't have dishwasher detergent available. It's a good place overall. The only other issue that seems to be common to a lot of hotels is the weak water flow in the shower, something that is easily fixable witha a pressure increasing showerhead that costs less than 15 bucks.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned—the refrigerator had dried food on it, the rugs did not appear to have been vacuumed, and we found clothing items underneath the bed. One of the couch cushions was also ripped. The bathtub was extremely slippery, and the water took at least an hour to drain. No one checked or serviced the room daily, so our garbage continued piling up. When we tried calling the front desk, the phone rang more than 20 times. We eventually hung up and tried again, and only after several more rings did someone answer. The room also had a strong musty odor that became even worse whenever the air conditioner was running. The only solution offered was a can of air-freshener fogger. Since we were traveling with two small children, we did not feel comfortable using it. We initially chose this hotel specifically for the hot tub and pool, only to discover after arriving that neither was working. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was clean, organized, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the room’s poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, lack of daily service, musty odor, and unavailable amenities overshadowed that positive experience.
