At Ramada Limited San Angelo, reviews highlight recurring issues with cleanliness, a green poorly maintained pool, and a minimal breakfast, while the location is convenient for getting around but can be noisy and occasionally feel unsafe.

Rooms are older and sometimes smell of smoke, with mixed comfort and maintenance (small TVs, loose fixtures, and plumbing or HVAC problems), though several guests also found them clean and comfortable. Staff are frequently described as friendly, but there are also reports of long check-in waits, room-type mix-ups, and confusing or delayed refundable deposits. Smoking room it is not easy to find a smoking room at motels. The water in the swimming pool was green so I was not able to enjoy the pool. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. After many hours in the car with younger kids it was nice to enjoy the quiet time. I chose this motel as it was easy for my sister to locate me, seeing she was from out of town also.

It looked like there were spots of blood on the covers. There were hairs in the bed. No toilet paper and the holder was broken. When I got switched to another room it was marginally more clean but they just remade the bed for the room I had just left without cleaning it. It was CSI Ramada with all the specimens left behind from previous guests.

The heater in our room (203) was not usable for long periods of time as it made a god awful noise (couldn’t have a conversation, watch tv much less sleep) with it running. The couch looked and smelled as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and Refrigerator did not work.

This is an older motel, so the carpet and furniture may be a bit worn here and there, but they keep it spotlessly clean and it's well maintained. And the bathrooms have obviously been redone within the last few years. The only minor complaint I have is that the air conditioner in my room was rather noisy. But that's fairly common for the in-wall units that are so common nowadays, so I can't complain too much about that.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. We only had two cups in the room — paper coffee cups — no plastic ones, and so we had to use and reuse those for everything. Plus, there were only two single-cup coffee pods, one regular and one decaf. Those things just made the place feel cheap. Our door wouldn’t shut properly either. So… we’d stay here again but just know it’s a cheap motel regardless of the price.

I did the precheck the day prior to arriving which inckuded submitting vehi le information and my drivers license. Once we arrived to the hitel i was asked for everything again along with an additional $50 "incidental" hold on my card. My card was also charged the morning before we arrived instead of when we checked out. The counter clerk was calm, but presenting this info again, after driving 4 hours irritated me. We were also approached by a homeless individual in the parking lot that was overly aggresive with asking for money and food. The hotel room was clean, no complaints other than the sheets were a bit soured. Would I stay here again, probably not, but for the cost it was what was to be expected.

I would consider revisiting this establishment, although I find the rate of $100 per night to be quite steep. The overall quality is comparable to that of a Motel 6. Unfortunately, I found the breakfast to be quite underwhelming. Additionally, I must express my disappointment as my non-smoking room had a strong odor of cigarettes, and the comforters were also tainted with cigarette smell. Despite these inconveniences, the hotel staff kindly accommodated my request to switch to a double queen room. It should be noted that the hotel is located in a less affluent area, but surprisingly quiet. Overall, I would rate this establishment as an average hotel at best.
