In construction so a poor rating is understandable. Old furniture better be upgraded.

I always try to support local businesses over big corporations, which makes writing this review especially disheartening. To be fair, the lobby is well-kept, clean, and smells great, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in. Unfortunately, the positive experience ends right there. As soon as you step past the lobby, the pleasant smell vanishes and you’re met with unkept hallways and flickering lights. Entering the room was a shock. The walls and doors were covered in dirty handprints, holes, and sloppy patch job repairs. The carpet and tile were filthy with spots, thick dust, and dirt. Additional issues during our stay: Maintenance: The shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall, and the toilet paper holder was completely missing. Housekeeping: Our bath mat went missing mid-stay, and when we asked about it, we were told housekeeping needed it more than we did. Noise & Comfort: The walls are paper thin—we could hear our neighbors’ TV word-for-word. The beds were tolerable, but not comfortable enough for a good night’s rest. Amenities: The TV picture quality was extremely outdated and pixelated. We avoided spending time in the room and only used it to sleep and shower because of the conditions and odor. Putting a fresh coat of paint on the outside or working on cosmetic lobby renovations won't solve these deep operational and cleanliness issues. Major changes need to happen fast.

After booking/reserving and paying for a room here, they proceeded to tell me that they had no rooms available. Absolutely unacceptable. If you don’t want to have to frantically find a new place to stay, do not book this hotel.

It appears that the property is being remodeled. That would cause I’m sure a little turmoil in a mess. However, the rooms were filthy. It doesn’t appear that they’ve been vacuumed. The bathrooms were not cleaned. Garbage was still in the trash cans. It was not an impressive facility.
