Unfortunately, the place was a total dump just awful. There was no way we could stay in this place. and there were so many potholes in the parking lot it was awful.

It was just what I needed, personally - a clean, private retreat while making a visit from out of state to a young family. It was very conveniently close to my destinations with easy access to my room and nearby parking. Facilities for keeping food and preparing meals and simple well functioning heating/cooling controls were appreciated.

The location is great! I just felt like the property itself was unsafe. The service was good, but as far as the rooms, you get what you pay for. The parking lot is small and hard to maneuver in and out of the parking spaces, the walls are thin and I heard ALL the neighbors at all hours.

Half are the kitchen stuff didn't work neither burner on the stove work microwave we only got 7 minutes and then stop for 10 refrigerator door would not stay shut without chair in front of it

The unit was in dire need of repairs: shower curtain falling out of the wall, blackout blinds that were not long enough for the window, cabinets missing handles, floor chipped up in multiple place, holes in the bathroom wall. Definitely not a 5 star accommodation. It was functional and I made it work anyway.

Room was old room had a kitchen but no dishes glasses or utensils I had to go to the office to get a plastic cup to drink water there was no ice. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful

The rooms looks like its falling apart and smelled like stale tobacco smoke. When i came into the rooms, with a no smoking sign, i had to let it air out for 20 minutes before settling in. I reserved two rooms for my traveling party and couldnt stop finding things that were wrong or abnormal. Dressers that were damaged or all around broken, damaged furniture, and zero complimentary anything. Not even shampoo. There was a single towel in each 2 bed room. The closet door is gone. Overall everything seems cleaned, but there are still stains and mildew in the bathroom and kitchen. If you just need a bed, and that's it, here's your stay, if you want *any* comfort beyond walls and a bed, go somewhere else.

It's a hit or a miss if they really have a room for your reservation when you get there. Health department need to go to this location. You will basically have to clean your own room and bring your own light bulbs

Located close to everything you could possibly need, friendly staff, our room even came with a full kitchenette including a built in electric stove top and range!

There were no towels in the room. It has a kitchenette - which is why I booked it but no utensils, pans etc. Literally NOTHING in the kitchen. There wasnt even a garbage bin.. The toilet clogged immediately so we stopping putting toilet paper in the toilet and it still wouldnt flush. The drawers were a hazard as they weren't even on the track. There were dead bugs in every corner of the room and my husband said there was a cockroach. The area is extremely unsafe!!! I have stayed at Econolodge all over Canada and the US, this one is horrifying. It needs to be condemned.

This place is complete trash. We did not end up staying as I noticed the bed bug, as the cheeky little thing crawled out on the pillow two minutes after we entered the hovel of a room, with broken lights combo smell of stale sweat mixed with old cigarettes, dead roaches on the counter and a dilapidated curtain that would not completely cover the window. This place should be condemned.

The receptionist is rude and the room is old and dirty. Even the door is not locking properly.

This place is disgusting! Hair and cigarettes burns on bedding and sheets. Blood stains on mattress, black dingy pillows, toilet paper hold was missing off the wall. Microwave not clean, door wouldn’t latch properly. Back marks on walls. Floors not cleaned… I would rather sleep in my car. Never again will I stay at this motel.

I have never been more disgusted by a hotel. Please don't let the pictures fool you. These rooms are moldy, unclean and stinky. And I'm usually okay with an old run down room but this is different. There was a used washcloth on my sink in the bathroom, there were stains in my bedsheets. The dresser and shelves were caged in from water damage and there wasn't a clean surface of the whole room. I was hesitant to touch anything at all, even the TV remote, and ended up sleeping on top of all the bedding.

It was horrible! The most discussing hotel room I have ever stayed in! Dirty sheets with cigarette burns in them, nasty dirty toilet, the shower was leaking and the bottom of the tub was pealing away. It was so dangerous that you could cut your feet and get a disease! The rim of the table was half peeled off. No dishes at all in kitchen and we had to ask for a remote to the TV that they claim was stolen begore we got there! Dirty, dirty, dirty! Take them off your list and we would like our money back! Filthy and gross!

No maid service during a 4 night stay. I had to get my own towels, empty my own trash. The bed had the sheet on the outside of the blanket (weird). Closet doors were broken. No TV remote. I went to the desk and they said I couldn't change rooms and gave me a generic remote with taped in batteries (their last one). Door didn't close without pulling it to and a man walked into my room.

People in hoods and masks walking around harassing me. Wall is full of holes. Fridge leaking. Loud noises at all hours. People banging on the door trying to get in in the middle of the night

The room was nice, but not as clean as I would like. There is black mold in the bathroom. Not everything seemed to be wiped down. Bed was nice and the sheets where clean.

The bed was extremely lumpy, no comforter on bed only sheets and a thin blanket, was really cold even with heater on. noise from Tenants living/staying long term was consistent. No help form management

On trips to SLC I've been staying at several hotels in the Ft. Union are that are $50 to $60 a night. This one was the worst, a former Motel 6 so do that math. Actually this is in the two worst motels I've ever stayed at in Utah. Wear, rust, broken phone and cockroaches in the bathroom (from nearby kitchenette.) So was it $40 worse than downtown? OK just to sleep but not for leisure unless you are skiing.

Nightmare. TV didn't work, card was doubled charged and was refused a refund. A very scary bunch of other guests. Don't do it.

The first thing that I noticed about the room is that, although it was a non-smoking room it smelled horribly of smoke. Secondly the sheets and blanket were extremely stained. It looks like they hadn't been washed. There was no mattress cover and there were actual holes in the mattress where stuffing was coming out.The lamp shades over the bed were filthy. The toilet paper roll holder was broken (which I fixed myself). There was only one small bath towel and one washcloth for 2 people and they would not provide more. The bathroom sink water pressure is very low and there was no stopper. No knobs on dresser or night stand drawers which made them difficult to open. Actually the knobs were in the drawers but there was no hardware to fasten them. The curtains were not hung correctly and could not be opened. Super noisy each night into the early hours of the morning. You could hear every word of conversations in the parking lot. You could hear neighbors using their bathroom. We were not able to get any rest during our stay. The bed is way too hard. My wife woke with bruises on her hip from trying to sleep on her side. There is not enough parking for guests. We were lucky to have a Handicapped placard to allow us convenient parking but we had to endure yelling and fights in the parking lot over parking spaces at night. There was no "Do Not Disturb" placard for the door. We didn't feel safe here. We will NEVER stay here again regardless of the pricing. It is NOT worth it.

This hotel caters to people without a lot. If you know that going in it’s pretty great. They give you what you need and leave you alone. My kind of hotel, also the front desk staff is nice and also friendly.

I got this for an employee and they had me go to the location and show my ID even though i put his name in the notes for checking in. Thank goodness it wasn't out of state. I have never had this problem!

We were unable to check in as the mgr said they did not have reservations and we had confirmation. Very unfriendly and rude. We had to look for another hotel for the night.

Booked this for my son, and when he got there they said they didn’t have a room and turned him away

They hotel double charged me on a seperate occasion (12/12) and they blamed it on an employee that recently was fired for breaking company policies etc. I tried to get a refund or credit for their mistake a couple days later after realizing my bank account was in the negative due to the charge and the hotel clerk refused to credit me any type of compensation. Either way, they are a Guest services business the satisfaction and safety of their customer base is crucial and should be priority #1 especially when ia complaint is brought to their attention due to a mistake caused by a expired employee. Unacceptable!! I realize they are a seperate enrity from u ppl but my frustration is boiling when ur a temporary homeless person stuggling to make end meet.

Took over an hour to check-in, sending me to 2 rooms not cleaned, then one still occupied. Settling for the 4th next to the office, discovered the TV, radio, & alarm clock didn't work. Too late, tired, physically limited unable to move again, (which was the office workers solution) stayed. The room heater started clicking & banging loudly in the night, having to turn it off to sleep. It took maintenance 3 days to finally fix it. There was no coffee maker or kitchen utensils; & the dirty Stove-top was plastic melted on the burners. The kitchen faucet & shower leaked (more like squirted sideways), never fixed. Like that wasn't bad enough, someone came in while I was out, going thru my things & stole my jewelry. If I could shut it down, I would because even the homeless deserve better.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. First, after arriving at about 10:30 pm on a Thursday Night, we checked into our first room. Upon entering the room, the large curtain providing privacy was broken and would not close, next as I tried to close the door, I found that the door would not even latch let alone lock. The toilet was not seated properly and rocked back and fourth, and when I went to call the front desk to tell them we could not secure the door, the phone in the room was broken. After talking to the front desk, they told me they had only one more room available, that had been refused by another customer, because the cleaning was partially finished. I was told that if I didn't want that room, the only other option was to refund my money for the 3 nights I had paid for. For me to find another hotel for 3 nights at the last moment was near impossible task. We chose the lesser of 2 evils, and accepted the half cleaned room. Upon entering the room, the beds were made, however the soiled bedding was piled up on top of the AC and chemicals were left on the floor. We pulled that stuff off and shoved them under the bed. On Saturday morning at 7:00, I was trying to leave to a 7:30 appointment. As I came out to the parking lot, I found another guest had parked behind me T-bone style. The front desk could not locate the owner of the car, even though I provided a pic of the parking pass with their confirmation number, and they refused to call a tow truck.

Horrible!!! Room was dirty no soap no toilet paper, no towels. Floor was sticky and filthy. Toilet paper holder and towel holders were broken. Complained to front desk lady and she told me too bad and handed me a bottle of conditioner. I asked for a refund and she told me no. Super rude. Place was disgusting. Do not stay here!!!

Extremely disappointed. Upon entering our room, we discovered that 2 of the main lights didn’t have lightbulbs. I tried calling the front desk to ask for new ones, but the phone didn’t work. Too tired from traveling, I figured I would manage for the night. The next day, after returning from skiing, our keycards wouldn’t work. I put my maintenance request in for the lightbulbs and phone when I got new key cards at the front desk. Next day, same thing. Keycards didn’t work, neither did the lights or phone. I asked again for the repairs and they were finally taken care of a few hours later. Beyond this, we were disappointed to find out that a room with a kitchenette did not include any cookware, silverware, plates, bowls, or cups (other than 4 plastic drinking cups) - not even available to check out from the front desk. The door to the bathroom didn’t latch and there was a hole in the kitchen floor. The walls were very thin and we woke up almost every morning to the sounds of our neighbors being intimate. Speaking of neighbors, it appeared that we were the one of the few if not only guests that did not live there. On our last night, we awoke to the sound of a man demanding entrance to a nearby room and for his drugs. The cherry on top was when we realized we had left two jackets (a patagonia and burton) in our room less than an hour after check out. We went back to see if they had been turned in - nope, they were in the trash. Will never stay in a studio6 again.

They gave me the wrong room, which was already occupied. The parking lot smelled bad and there were many homeless people. I preferred to leave and lose the money

The hotel cannot accept virtual payment. They did call and let me know before i checked in, but then i had to spend time on the phone getting my refund. Otherwise, a no frills hotel in a convenient location

$65/night but very dirty inside and outside. Terrible bed and sheets were not even properly made. dirty sheets. rap music blasting at 6am in the parking lot. drug deals in the parking lot. crack heads everywhere staying in this hotel. not worth saving. book something else

The problems started at check-in. Apparently, their computers went down earlier in the day and they had trouble getting people set up with their reservations. When I finally got my room, there were homeless and druggies hanging around in the stairwell and smoking meth. They were constantly noisy throughout the night as well. My room had stains on the hardwood (looked like possibly oil), the closet door was broken off it’s track. There was an ironing board in the closet but no iron. The bathroom door had holes in it that looked like someone had tried kicking it in. One of the lights didn’t work and when I investigated, it turns out it wasn’t plugged in. When I plugged it in I discovered that the outlet itself did not even work. The bed was not cleaned since the last guest. There were visible hairs all over the sheets. The bed was missing a pillow. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The bathroom sink backed up. There was only one washcloth and one towel, both of which had stains on them as well as hairs leading me to wonder if they had even been washed. Literally, the only things in the room that there was no issues with was the fridge and the TV. Informed the front desk but they did nothing. Even had to get my room key reset each night as it would keep locking me out of my room. Also, there were two microwaves in the room. Not necessarily a negative point…just weird.

Truly disappointed in this hotel. The room was not very clean, no coffee maker, no ice machine. The mattress needs to be replaced, it sags on both sides and has a lump down the middle. Supposedly it was to have some kitchen items, it had a stove top, refrigerator and microwave. Not even a plastic cup for water. The room needs attention to replace the baseboard along the wall by the bed. The bathroom needs to have the shelf fixed and the toilet paper holder put where it can be reached. I was really disappointed because the pictures didn’t show the true story on this particular hotel. Oh! By the way, no coffee or continental breakfast either. For $80 a night, things need a huge upgrade before we would consider staying there again
