A beautiful house with great amenities. The beach was fantastic. The trees were filled with birds. Saw a doe with her two fawns a few times.

Great house for families! Very close to Lake Michigan with a short walk. Hose was stocked exceptionally well. The owners thought of everything! Best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in! Beds were very comfortable. My two grandkids enjoyed making s’mores in their fire pit. (Owners touch with kindling, paper and wood! Who knew I could make a fire so quickly!). House was very clean and decorated very nicely.

My family and I loved this house! It was clean with a great floor plan, and had everything we could ask for. The location is right by the beach and surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery. There were a lot of deer we were able to see from the windows and when we were using the fire pit. It's a great isolated location that is still close enough to explore downtown and the marina. I definitely recommend staying here!

Our family loves Sandwood cottage for so many reasons, but here are the top 5: Clean spacious house, ping pong and game room, proximity to beach, receptive/helpful hosts, surrounded by quiet nature! Great place for a quick getaway or long vacation.

great communication with the owner--top notch towels and linens and very thoughtful kitchen supplies such as food storage containers for left overs and to-go coffee cups. the view toward the lake through the woods was so calming. our crew ended up being smaller than expected but so much room to spread out and play--really neat lay out to whole house and of course the basement arcade and ping pong table are great.
