Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. In the fourth paragraph of the note, he days the commission Expedia takes "makes it tough for small inns like ours." In the fifth paragraph, I kid you not, he says, "If you need anything at all during your stay, please don't hesitate to contact Expedia and see how that works out for you." I wish I could say that was the end of the matter, but he mentioned it again and again each time I saw him. Not to be left out, Tina also mentioned it three times while we were having breakfast. I'm not sure why Mark advertises with Expedia if he is unhappy with customers using Expedia. If it's just that he's unhappy with paying for advertising through Expedia, perhaps he shouldn't advertise with them.

This was an outstanding bed-and-breakfast and we love it so much. We stayed in it again on our trip back home. The breakfast were amazing and the staff were so helpful. It was almost like we weren’t traveling at all.
