Osage Casino Hotel Pawhuska

What guests think

At Osage Casino Hotel Pawhuska, travelers repeatedly praise very clean, modern rooms, friendly staff, and secure access, along with a pleasant outdoor area featuring a pool, hot tub, and fire pits, making stays comfortable and easy.

A recurring drawback is the casino smoke that lingers at the entrance and near the restaurant, and guests must pass through the gaming floor to reach the hotel. On-site food is frequently praised and reasonably priced, but breakfast isn’t available every day and service can be slow at busy times. Rooms feel new and quiet with excellent showers, though beds run firm, some rooms lack in-room coffee or microwaves, and temperature controls or door noise bother a few guests. Overall, expect a modern, friendly stay with casino-side perks and a few trade-offs.

The room was beautiful and they gave me the option for the 4th floor which overlooks the pool. Staff seemed friendly, but the Internet was down so there was no restaurant. Thank goodness there was a fast food place close by and we ate in our room. The casino has slots only. Free drinks when wait staff comes around. It served our purpose, but it’s out of the middle of nowhere.

Pawhuska is far from the beaten path, but with an excellent Nature Conservancy Tall Grass Prairie with Bison development. The Casino offers a new and well managed hotel that we enjoyed greatly. This morning, during a cold morning, we enjoyed the hot tub outside. Given to off-season, the staff member brought us coffee and towels even though we were to only ones there. We also enjoyed the fire pit as we drank our coffee. Thank you.

Have to have a room key card to be able to get to the hotel elevator which is a good idea. You have to go thru the casino to get to the hotel which is not good, even though they are suppose to be no smoking, there's a smell that isn't good. Not smoke, the scent they are using to cover what use to be a smoking facility. Also, you can't bring outside food or drink, which is ok, but no microwave? We had pizza and took the left over upstairs, no way to heat up later. Would rather smell pizza heating than whatever they used for ordor control.

Rooms are very nice. Bed is okay but I was hoping for a little softer and fluffier. Really surprised that they don't have coffee in the rooms! You have to walk to the front desk to get a cup of coffee (weird). Check in as at 4pm and check out is at 11am, since it is a casino thought it might be a little less harsh with those times?

Everything was immaculately, clean and great! The beds are on the firm side. It was nice to have a place to order food in the hotel late at night. It was very convenient to everything we wanted to go to! There is a refrigerator in the room and a microwave down the hall in the vending room. we had a standard king size room, no sitting area, but it had a little desk with a chair. Very reasonably priced! The pool was closed. So if that’s important, you should call ahead and ask. They were also able to accommodate us and add another night for us.

The room was very nice and clean. shower outstanding. the beds on the other hand are very hard and uncomfortable. we almost had to go sleep in our truck. the doors are heavy and close very hard. we have been in hotels where the doors do a soft close and are not as loud. the noise wasn't bad after midnight but you could hear doors slamming. yes i know its a hotel and you will hear noise but maybe make the doors not close so hard.
