Be aware that this is not a typical hotel. It is located in a working class neighborhood, and there are no employees on site from about 21:00 until 08:00 in the morning. Otherwise it is great!

Fantastic place! Every detail has been thought out. Rooms are modern and comfortable and the service is excellent. They go above and beyond to make your stay the best! Good location- the rooftop is beautiful. Highly recommend!

When arriving from the airport the entrance to Monastic initially was not readily apparent and somewhat inconvenient to move the luggage, so initially we thought we had made a big mistake with this booking. But once the door opens things changed quickly and with the assistance of the friendly and helpful stuff were shown our room: A large "Studio Apartment", great view, nice bath, kitchenette and any modern amenities one can imagine with a welcome basket. Staff showed us the roof terrace making the view of the Acropolis even better; Nearly all sites in 15 minutes walking distance; a place for couples who want to experience Athen; No, the Monastic doesn\'t have a common breakfast area or a bar but there are an ample number for every taste in close proximity.

Beautiful hotel, everything was very high quality - stylish, minimalist design, comfortable, and every need catered for. Service was light touch (in a good way). Fabulous roof terrace with a hot tub overlooking the Acropolis.

The Monastik is more like an apartment, than a hotel (e.g no lobby or on-site dining), but there is a kitchenette to cook, heat up or store food which was a plus. Very convenient location for the things we wanted to see in Athens, as well as walking distance to pick-up locations for most tours. It served our needs while in Athens.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We booked the Acropolis View Penthouse and it was worth every penny. This is a small boutique hotel. There is a very small check in counter when you arrive and everyone couldnt have been more helpful and accommodating. There is a jacuzzi and rooftop garden area on the 3rd floor for all guests. Our penthouse had its own private jacuzzi and garden area with stunning views of the Acropolis. All areas were impeccably clean! We were only able to stay one night unfortunately but will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

We had a really great stay. Staff was super nice and helpful. The room was modern, huge and very clean. Rooftop hot tub and patio was awesome! The area the hotel is more industrial but it is walking distance to Acropolis and dining/shopping about 15-20 minute walk. 5 Euro cab ride. There is street noise from motorcycles however died down later into the night and hotel did provide a sleep kit in the room. I would stay here again, very comfortable and great value.

We had an amazing stay with Monastik, very nice room as advestised with great view of Acropolis! Tasteful interior and very good cleanliness. Extremely helpful staff both in reception and housekeeping! Thank You so much for the extra assistance when we had to extend the stay due to illness, it made the rest of our trip. Practical solutions with codes instead of keycard. We will absolutely book again!

Le petit hôtel est extrêmement propre, confortable et nous avons eu pleins d’attention comme des grignotines et même de l’alcool grec offert . L’hôtel est à 10-15 min de marche, il n’est pas exactement près des centres touristiques. La vue sur la terrasse avec l’acropole est sublime! Un des plus beaux hôtels que j’ai eu et je voyage beaucoup. Je recommande vraiment, une belle expérience! Le personnel est très bien. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits.

Loved this quaint hotel. The room was stylish, clean and well equipped. Within walking distance to the sights. Restaurants, shopping and the roof top patio is a great place to escape to. Hotel staff is super friendly, helpful and communicates quickly with you.

The place is more like a serviced Air bnb rather than a hotel.Concierge hours are limited and we did not find them very knowledgable. Neighborhood restaurants were limited and their boxed cold breakfast at 18 Euros a person, while healthy was ok. Their beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were of good quality. However the first night we were there we had a sewer stink in the bathroom which was resolved the next morning. However with the building being old, we were advised not to flush down toilet paper. We had booked a premium room with Acropolis view which was in the distance with a lot of residential buildings around us, so curtains had to be shut for privacy and light pollution. The area had traffic noise even at night. Would opt for a hotel in a central location next time if are there for a few days and not a long stay.

Loved the place. It was so comfortable and clean! I loved the view of the acropolis and the hot tub. I also loved the kitchen and the all that they provided for us to have a comfortable stay. The staff was also so attentive and very welcoming. It was close to so many markets and restaurants as well As all the museums. There was free parking all over and we walked most of time except in the days we took day trips to Corinth and other areas.

Loved the room. And the service while we were there. Unfortunately, we had to changed our date and the only room available was smaller than the one we originally reserved (which has a view of the acropolis), and this “lower level” room faced the street, which was noisy at night. However, I must add that the rooftop is tiny and hence misleading from the images I saw online. Also, the entrance is small on a busy street. Which I do not mind, but my husband was not happy with it. Granted, I reminded him that this is a BOUTIQUE HOTEL… I will just ask to adjust the description of the rooftop.

Stunning apartment with a beautiful balcony and wonderful view to the acropolis, which you can also see from your bed! We stayed in the penthouse suite, which had a jacuzzi on the balcony, a lift directly to the room and easy access to the communal roof terrace, making it feel as though the whole floor was ours. Everything from the linens on the bed, to the crockery and cutlery was exquisite. I would have liked a cafetière, as I’m not keen on nespresso machine coffee, but that was a minor inconvenience. The staff were really lovely and very helpful and the place is walking distance to most places (10 mins to temple of Zeus, 15-20mins to acropolis). We love Athens, have been many times and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in. Would highly recommend.

The cozy rooms with high ceilings, dark wood, lots of texture, soap-stone fixtures and dark tile floors with a very well appointed kitchenette, large walk-in shower and a generous welcome gift basket made for a very comfortable stay. The sheer quality, size of rooms puts this small hotel in the five star category. I don’t think I’ve stayed in such a well equipped and luxurious room. The roof terrace with its beautiful view was a little oasis of calm and greenery. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us some great recommendations. Approx 20 mins walk to the main sites. Would def stay here again.

We came to Athens for our honeymoon and knew we wanted to stay somewhere with an Acropolis view, so we chose Monastik Living. The specific room we booked was the Acropolis View Supreme Suite Outdoor with the Jetted Tub. It was a phenomenal experience! The room was huge with its own kitchen area, lots of lounging space, and the outdoor jacuzzi area. The staff was very attentive and easy to reach via What’s App. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the shopping areas around the Acropolis so we basically went there every day. After all that walking, the jacuzzi was a great way to unwind at the end of the day and enjoy a view of the Acropolis one more time before bed. Highly recommend staying here!

We can’t wait to come back again this place is 10/10 and we would highly recommended Monastik Living Athina. The staff restaurant recommendations were excellent, transportation and places to see was excellent as well. The unit is about a year old and very well maintained and upscale appliances as well as very comfortable bedding and sheets. There is a small kitchen and appliances. The staff restaurant recommendations were excellent, transportation and places to see was excellent as well. The unit is about a year old and very well maintained and upscale appliances as well as very comfortable bedding and sheets. There is a small kitchen and appliances. Spiros greeted us with a warm welcome. He was very helpful in showing us how to use the elevator and codes to our room. He was very responsive in the what’s app and showed us how to make a food delivery to our room. Spiros also gave us directions to Parthenon and helped us with any questions that we had. He was very nice and made our stay a great one. The breakfast in a box was so good!

Great hotel with amazing staff. From little touches like a big bottle of water in the fridge everyday and Greek food specialities on arrival, to a great spread of luxury toiletries and kitchen with plenty of crockery etc, this hotel is doing things the way hotels used to do things. The rooms are beautifully curated with great facilities and a comfy bed, but the staff make this place special, so kind, friendly and helpful they make you feel special. Spiros gave us some great recommendations and helped us get our bearings and the locale has a great vibe. The only slight negative is that the hotel is on a very busy road, but there is a crossing. It just means if you’re in a city view room you can hear the road. That said, the room seemed to be quadruple glazed and the traffic didn’t wake us or anything, and I’m a light sleeper. They also provide face masks and ear plugs so if it did bother you. I also think if you had the rooms facing the other way you light not notice at all. Don’t let that put you off though, I still give it 10/10, just if it’s available maybe spend a little more on a non city view if you’re a super light sleeper!

Loved this quaint hotel. The room was stylish, clean and well equipped. Within walking distance to the sights. Restaurants, shopping and the roof top patio is a great place to escape to. Hotel staff is super friendly, helpful and communicates quickly with you.

I normally do not leave reviews but thought I would here for this property! Amazing is all I can say - Fabulous - Awesome! This property is in a great location, the staff are so helpful and very responsive via WhatsAPP when not in the building. There is not a "reception desk" but you are greeted by the staff working there upon arrival. You can check in the day before, which is so convenient. Upon arrival to your room you have a gift basket in the room and are shown around. Room was great with an amazing view. There is alot of traffic you can here even with the doors/windows closed but they do offer you an eye mask and ear plugs in the room and I was so tired from wandering around it did not matter once I laid down. I would like to make sure that I let you know about a few things, that for me it was not important and made no difference but I do know for some this will matter. On the link through Expedia it shows there is laundry and spa, these are available but there is not a laundry or spa on site - these are two locations that are outsourced through. The spa can come to the room and then the laundry is something where the company can come and pick up and you pay by weight. This location is in a great location and you can literally walk everywhere within 15 mins of the hotel. Great great great hotel, great location and great staff who all offered recommendations from the beginning! I will pick this location again! Thank you so much for the great vacation that was much needed!

We had a really great stay. Staff was super nice and helpful. The room was modern, huge and very clean. Rooftop hot tub and patio was awesome! The area the hotel is more industrial but it is walking distance to Acropolis and dining/shopping about 15-20 minute walk. 5 Euro cab ride. There is street noise from motorcycles however died down later into the night and hotel did provide a sleep kit in the room. I would stay here again, very comfortable and great value.

We came to Athens for our honeymoon and knew we wanted to stay somewhere with an Acropolis view, so we chose Monastik Living. The specific room we booked was the Acropolis View Supreme Suite Outdoor with the Jetted Tub. It was a phenomenal experience! The room was huge with its own kitchen area, lots of lounging space, and the outdoor jacuzzi area. The staff was very attentive and easy to reach via What’s App. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the shopping areas around the Acropolis so we basically went there every day. After all that walking, the jacuzzi was a great way to unwind at the end of the day and enjoy a view of the Acropolis one more time before bed. Highly recommend staying here!

Le petit hôtel est extrêmement propre, confortable et nous avons eu pleins d’attention comme des grignotines et même de l’alcool grec offert . L’hôtel est à 10-15 min de marche, il n’est pas exactement près des centres touristiques. La vue sur la terrasse avec l’acropole est sublime! Un des plus beaux hôtels que j’ai eu et je voyage beaucoup. Je recommande vraiment, une belle expérience! Le personnel est très bien. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits.

The place is more like a serviced Air bnb rather than a hotel.Concierge hours are limited and we did not find them very knowledgable. Neighborhood restaurants were limited and their boxed cold breakfast at 18 Euros a person, while healthy was ok. Their beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were of good quality. However the first night we were there we had a sewer stink in the bathroom which was resolved the next morning. However with the building being old, we were advised not to flush down toilet paper. We had booked a premium room with Acropolis view which was in the distance with a lot of residential buildings around us, so curtains had to be shut for privacy and light pollution. The area had traffic noise even at night. Would opt for a hotel in a central location next time if are there for a few days and not a long stay.

We had a great stay! The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was perfect, and we enjoyed the rooftop patio with hot tub after a long day of exploring Athens. We were able to walk to all of the sites and always felt safe in the Mets neighborhood.

When arriving from the airport the entrance to Monastic initially was not readily apparent and somewhat inconvenient to move the luggage, so initially we thought we had made a big mistake with this booking. But once the door opens things changed quickly and with the assistance of the friendly and helpful stuff were shown our room: A large "Studio Apartment", great view, nice bath, kitchenette and any modern amenities one can imagine with a welcome basket. Staff showed us the roof terrace making the view of the Acropolis even better; Nearly all sites in 15 minutes walking distance; a place for couples who want to experience Athen; No, the Monastic doesn\'t have a common breakfast area or a bar but there are an ample number for every taste in close proximity.

The Monastik is more like an apartment, than a hotel (e.g no lobby or on-site dining), but there is a kitchenette to cook, heat up or store food which was a plus. Very convenient location for the things we wanted to see in Athens, as well as walking distance to pick-up locations for most tours. It served our needs while in Athens.

A true gem of a hotel! I highly recommend staying in #21, if possible. Dreamy view of the Acropolis outside your window only highlights the overall experience. Tasteful modern decor with a great attention to detail. The box breakfast was fantastic as well! I will definitely stay again when I return.

Loved the place. It was so comfortable and clean! I loved the view of the acropolis and the hot tub. I also loved the kitchen and the all that they provided for us to have a comfortable stay. The staff was also so attentive and very welcoming. It was close to so many markets and restaurants as well As all the museums. There was free parking all over and we walked most of time except in the days we took day trips to Corinth and other areas.

This was our second time staying at Monastik. Honestly, we would never want to stay anywhere else. Monastik is an absolute gem, close to everything. The property is of the highest quality and an amazing place to rest and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing and taking all that Athens has to offer. Absolutely every detail have been carefully curated and we are very grateful for Monastik and for the staff. 5 stars on all fronts.
