What guests think

Travellers describe Spark by Hilton Tifton as a recently updated, budget-friendly stop just off I-75, with consistently friendly staff and comfortable beds, but pared-back amenities and a very simple continental breakfast that often disappoints.

Many reviews praise overall cleanliness. Rooms feel minimalist; several are spacious and comfy, though some guests reported highway or hallway noise and a few disliked pillow firmness. Amenities are basic: no in-room coffee makers or microwaves in many rooms, the pool has been closed at times, and parking can feel tight. Expect a straightforward, no-frills stay suited to a quick stopover.

For the price, I was not impressed with our stay here. Bed was fine but no microwave in the room and no ice bucket either. Just overpriced.

Although clean, this is a pretty basic hotel. No coffee makers in the rooms or microwaves. You do have access to both in the lobby though. The hallway on the 3rd floor smelled of smoke and there were kids running up and down until almost 1am. I wasn't impressed and will not return, too many other options in the area.

Upon check in, there was an odor of stale cigarettes. The hallways also had this odor. The room was clean. During the night we stayed, it began to smell like marijuana. When we were leaving in the morning, we had a strong odor of marijuana from the second floor down to the first floor in the elevator.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Disney. This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. The first time being two summers ago when it seemed much cleaner and nicer. I was a little disappointed to see it went a little downhill and didn’t live up to the Hilton standards I’m accustomed to. Floors were dirty in the elevator and a caution cone remained in the elevator as if there had been a spill but no one cleaned it up. I will say that the room seemed clean and was fine for one night.

Pros: Our room was exactly as pictured. Newly renovated, very clean, quiet. The beds were comfortable. Cons: No coffee maker in the hotel room. The bathroom was so small that the sink was out near the couch. Not a huge deal, just a bit unusual. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. It was very clean downstairs. Ice water would have been nice to have for breakfast along with the juice and coffee. Some protein would have been nice, too. It was just carbs and yogurt. Noted: One of the staff, an older gentleman, was sitting in the “lobby” area watching a movie when we checked in. That was a bit awkward since the check-in area is so small. It would have been nice if they would have offered us water bottles. The other lady who checked us in was polite and helpful and told us exactly how to get to our room. There was also a “wet floor” sign hanging on the inside of the elevator, as if that’s where they keep it. No floors were wet in the building when we were there.
