I traveled to Athens on a solo trip this past month. NJV really looked after me from the time I arrive on my birthday to my second stay coming back from the islands. They ensured I had a ride back to the hotel each trip. The hotel is literally in the middle of everything in Athens. My second stay I had a luxury suite with a view of the Acropolis. I highly recommend that suite. It was so nice and comfy. Everyone greets you when you come in and out. Service is quick to follow up with you on issues. The pastry shop is fantastic!!!

Excellent service, very nice property and beautiful views of the Palace and Parthenon. Parking available about 2 blocks away. Pool available at a gym that the hotel has an agreement with.

A beautiful hotel located right on Syntagma Square. Super convenient location next to all shops at Ermou street and the bars and restaurants at Plaka and Monastiraki. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were large. All the staff were very friendly and polite. There is a very nice bar located on the mezzanine floor. The only item that would have been great is a gym on-site. They have a collaboration with a nearby gym, however prices are circa 25eur for a day pass.

nicw hotel, centrally located, taxis right on front, helpful attendants. Needs to improve in terms of the restaurant, which was closed. The cafeteria has a simple menu, not enough selection, and expensive prices.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city on the main square making it so convenient for shopping dining and nightlife. Beautiful property and excellent facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel. We had a two day stay at the end of our cruise with a family group of eleven with ages ranging from 15 to 71. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was mould around the taps in en suite, this is a shame as we couldn’t fault anything else as far as cleanliness is concerned in our room or hotel. The location is great, so many great coffee shops etc and a short walk to the “Monasteraki” square. Another negative that some people may not like is the hotel has no pool or gym. We have stayed twice and would defo go back ( hope the mould has gone) Luke-C

Zimmer mit Sicht zum Innenhof. Fenster mot u durchsichtiger Folie abgedichtet. Frnster konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Konnte die Aircondition des Hotel die ganze Nacht von Aussen hören. Sonst ist das Hotel zentral, sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Fitnesscenter ist in 200m Entfernung.

De très loin la pire expérience de ma vie ! Le NJV est un hôtel 5 étoiles qui ne les mérite pas. En dépit du fait qu'il soit extrêmement bien placé, j'ai été confrontée à des puces de lit dès ma première nuit... À 5h du matin, après la découverte de cet incident, le personnel m'a proposée de changer de chambre. Néanmoins, aucune aide ne m'a été apportée pour déménager mes affaires du 2eme au 6eme etage à 5h du matin. Inutile d'insister sur le fait que cela est inadmissible pour un 5 étoiles !! Le service manque cruellement et la compensation proposée, après réclamation, a été ridicule, 50% sur la 1ere nuit (sur 4 au total) soit 100 euros sur 800 euros déboursés. Une blague! En revanche les piqûres de puces quant à elles restent plus qu'une seule nuit sur mon corps, et cette compensation ne reflète pas le préjudice moral subit et le manque de sommeil car en plus de cela il y a tellement de bruit (circulation) qu'on ne peut dormir correctement. A fuir à tout prix!!!! The worse experience of my life. During the first night of my stay, I founded (during the night) bed bugs in my bed room, actually face to my face. At 5 am they decided to give me another room but then nobody helps me to bring my stuff from my room to the other.I was with my luggage, wearing night clothes and several bags and stuff alone to go from 2nd to 6thfloor. Then, I realized that I got bitten by them in my arm and feet. Please avoid ! On top of that rooms are too noice so impossible to rest well!

Unsure if some of the rooms and areas of the hotel have undergone renovations recently but the dining hall for the breakfast buffet and my room were certainly looking very dated and had many signs of wear and tear. The breakfast buffet was average at best, wouldn’t recommend paying extra for it. You’re better off leaving the hotel and going into Plaka or other surrounding areas for better and less expensive food. The room itself has seen better days. The bathroom had a lot of rust marks on the shower wall near the hand rail, one of the lights was missing the finishing cap so it was all exposed, etc. Just not the attention to detail I would expect from a 5-star hotel. That said, the staff were amazing. Everyone from the guest service attendants to the front desk and housekeeping were all extremely wonderful.

Great location. Carpet in room was old, tired and dirty looking. Bathroom could be cleaner, lotion bottle looked used. Water from shower splashed everywhere soaking floors. Lobby was beautiful but room very dated. Breakfast was good.

Great location central to luxury shopping, the square, and acropolis. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and cozy.

We noticed there are bugs in our headboard. Then we saw cockroaches around us. Immediately we looked at the headboard, there were many bugs with eggs hacking. We packed our stuff and went to the registration desk. They moved us to a different room. The next morning, we had 40-50 bed bug bites on our body and neck. It is one of the worst hotels. It was so dirty. DO NOT STAY THERE! They are telling us will refund the money but the damage is so severe. We suffered from all these bed bugs during our whole trip in Greece and Istanbul. DO NOT STAY THERE!

Very close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. Very clean and spacious rooms with a nice view.

The property is centrally located good sized room but desperately needs updating as everything is 40 years old. The staff are nice . I would choose a more modern hotel.

Dated hotel with noisy traffic all night long. Don’t believe them when they say that they have sound proofed the rooms.

The hotel is very nice. In a handy area as it's within walking distance to a lot of sight seeing areas but at night the street and park across the road come alive. The very loud music stops around 11 or 12 but then the party continues. Screaming and laughing a total uproar.?I had to sleep wit ear plugs.

I would like just to add one thing the lighting in the rooms is honestly horrible please try to improve that everything else is excellent

We stayed here 2 nights the hotel room we had did not have any windows. The staff seemed friendly but not helpful. We asked for a recommendation for a nail salon they sent us somewhere where they used plastic tubs and the techs were holding our feet on their knees. The checkout is at 11am. At 9am someone entered our room. We were still asleep and we got startled. When we mentioned something to the front desk they brushed it off by sayjng sorry about that. Although this place is in the middle of everything I would not recomand staying here

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was so friendly. We had just come in from an overnight flight and they let us check in early so we could rest!

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff, particularly the two front desk guys at night. Excellent location, right on the square. Great view from the room. Two complaints, but the good way outweighed the bad: 1. The concierge made two mistakes in our tour bookings. One was mistakenly cancelled, so we had to scramble that morning to recreate the day. It all worked out. And the second was booking us at the wrong beach day resort. 2. The “VIP amenity” was 20% off room service. Apparently we were supposed to present the card when ordering but our kids didn’t. They wouldn’t just adjust it at checkout. Tiny thing, but seemed like an easy thing they could have done. We didn’t do what we were supposed to, but them fixing it would have been the kind of nice touch that leaves you with a nice feeling about the place. We’d definitely stay there again.

This upscale hotel is located in the centre of Athens and this makes it very appealing. There are a ton of restaurants and coffee shops close by as well as the hop on hop on hop off stop is across the street.

I went there to scope it out for our annual conference that will take place in Athens Greece in 2026. We will have a group of 50 traveling from the US. This hotel is in the perfect location with breathtaking views of the acropolis (higher floors) and Syntagma Square and parliament. You can walk the entire city from there and the metro stop is across the street. Awesome hotel with amazing staff that will go the extra mile for you. Tons of dining options and endless entertainment and shopping down Ermou street and all around. Tons of history everywhere and so much to explore. My favorite hotel in downtown Athens.

Great location. Great breakfast selection. Rooms alittle dated. Front desk checkin was pleasant but lacked giving us any tips, brochures, maps or information etc about the area. Following day we had to make all the inquiries and the gentleman, who was older was very helpful!!

Upgraded to a suite with 3 beds. Comfortable beds and courteous staff. staff arranged a driver to Temple of Poseidon. Appreciated that. Hotel was centrally located. Their cocktails and food were a disappointment, however.

A nice enough place in an ideal location in Syntagma Square. The bathroom could definitely use some maintenance because all of the grout around the tiles are in bad shape. I couldn’t quite figure out the fancy TV system while navigating the Android pad device. Just too complicated for this old guy so I gave up on it. Breakfast buffet was good.
