Wir waren sehr zufrieden, hatten zwar erst ein Zimmer mit Bad, welches weder Duschwanne noch Duschvorhang hatte, sodass das komplette Bad „mitgeduscht“ wurde und unter Wasser stand.. nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption bekamen wir jedoch sofort ein neues Zimmer, da war dann alles tip top. Sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück auf dem Balkon im 8. Stock, Zimmer ewas hellhörig aber im Normbereich. Ein toller Aufenthalt, lediglich die Umgebung ist etwas bedenklich, viele dunkle Gestalten in den angrenzenden Gassen..

Due to booking last minute and only staying for 2 nights, it was decent. However the bed was super hard and uncomfortable. The rooms were very small which made you want to visit the area around but it’s not a good walking area due to the drug users outside which is out of their control. It would have been nice to have more dining options on the rooftop eating area.

The hotel is good, the buffet breakfast was very nice and the restaurant at the terrace is very enjoyable. The area is not the best, i felt a bit uneasy walking around at night but on the other side there are great local restaurants around where the locals eat which offer excellent food for a good price. In general my experience was good. I would come back.

Wir haben uns in Athen für das Hotel Golden City Hotel entschieden. Laut den Bewertungen im Internet ist es ein gutes und schönes Hotel. Die Lage ist okay dafür das Hotel umso besser. Wir haben für eine Woche reserviert. Eine Sache die auf jeden Fall hervorgestochen hat, ist die Sauberkeit und vor allem, dass jeden Tag frische Handtücher vorhanden waren. Das war wirklich ein Pluspunkt. Wir haben uns alle wohl gefühlt und die Atmosphäre des Hotels war auch sehr positiv. Ich kann dieses Hotel total empfehlen.

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent place. Very accommodating. Will definitely think about this hotel when we come back to Athens. Btw, breakfast is also awesome. L'hôtel est plutôt honnête. L'hygiène est adéquate. La literie est bonne. Par contre, le quartier est vraiment à éviter. Quel que soit le chemin vers le métro vous tomber sur des camés fumant du crack en rue ou des prostitués. L'isonorisation est mauvaise en surplomb d'une rue bruyante.

J’ai réservé une chambre double, on m’a attribué une chambre simple. Chambre au 1er étage au dessus d’un arrêt de bus (bruits du moteur de bus très gênant). Bruits dans les couloirs jusqu’à 2h du matin. L’hôtel est dans un quartier pas très bien fréquenté ( c’est comme le quartier de Stalingrad à Paris). Ça fait cher la nuit. Hôtel absolument pas confortable.

The staff was disgusting. Little empathy with the customer, area full of homeless, dirty. When I arrived to check in, late at night, they wanted to charge me extra for the amount of luggage I had, which they didn't tell me anything about when I booked the taxi, the staff was horrible, I would never recommend the hotel.
