Given it was our first time in Greece, the hotel is very well situated in the heart of the city. A very inviting lobby, sophisticated use of their space, miniature elevators (first that I've seen), lovely staff, neat rooms I have to say. But all in all, its a lovely place to be, and my partner and I enjoyed every bit of our 4day stay.

This place is run down. The rooms are so small. If you are coming with any large luggage, you'll barely be able to open it in the room. Additionally, the elevators are only large enough to accommodate two people, so you'll likely wait all day for them. I thoroughly inspected the beds for bedbugs but did not find any. Upon waking, we noticed what appeared to be a bed bug in one of the beds. The shower was filthy with mold on the side. If you're staying here, pack light. And be on the lookout for bedbugs, which may be in some of the beds. Inspect your luggage when you get home to make sure you didn't take any home with you.

The property's location is the single biggest asset. The rooms are poorly maintained - black mold in the showers (multiple rooms). But the worst was the staffs willingness to work. Housekeeping told me they would NOT clean the mold. Restaurant Staff refused to make fried eggs - because it was not on the buffet schedule. Frontdesk lied to me about the return of the Manager and the Daytime Front Desk people refused to attempt to resolve the alarm coming from another Building. Nicos the evening Front Desk worker - actually called the Police and resolve the alarm issue and was the only person who was able to provide any reliable suggestions. Had to have Expedia get involved to contact the Manager - who offered to move me to another room.

Very good staff, super helpful. Decent breakfast spread, very close to and walkable. Smaller room, Bathroom super tight, shower had some mold and was very tight. Shower also leaked a little. Still good room and value for the price. I would stay there again.

Hotellet fremstod i rigtig fin stand – rent, pænt og velholdt. Airconditionen fungerede upåklageligt og kunne nemt justeres efter behov. Ventilatoren havde et godt flow, så luften blev fordelt i hele rummet i stedet for kun at blæse ét sted. Der blev gjort rent og redt seng hver dag, og vi fik friske håndklæder næsten dagligt. På værelset var der et køleskab, som vi kunne fylde med vand, sodavand eller andet. Det larmede dog lidt om natten, men det var let at løse med et par ørepropper. En mindre ulempe var badeværelset. Toilettet havde en dør af matteret glas, og der var desuden et matteret glasvindue fra badeværelset ind til selve værelset. Det betød, at man både kunne høre lyde og se silhuetter derinde. Af den grund vil vi ikke anbefale dette værelseslayout til nyforelskede par – eller til personer, der ikke er helt komfortable med hinanden.

The property is very well located and everything you can do walking. Safe area. The lobby of the hotel small cigar smoke pretty bad. And we had mold in our shower behind the shower cutting. I recommend because it's conveniently located and reasonably priced. The rooftop has a spectacular view of the sunset and the Parthenon.

We loved this hotel. The breakfast is amazing! It’s a small hotel and there is minor noise. Athens is a big city and you are going to have some noise however I think this hotel does a lot to limit that. The bed was super comfortable. The room was very clean and the shower pressure is amazing. We will stay here again.

Excellent location, easy walk to the Acropolis entry point. Botanic gardens and the Panatheon not far either. Lots of places to eat nearby, mixed in amongst some local shops. Area felt safe. Staff were nice and very helpful in booking a taxi to the airport for a fixed charge of 40€. Room was compact but was ok, typical of Europe.

The view from the hotel room of the Acropolis was amazing, but the room was extremely small and was not big enough for two people with 4 pieces of luggage. It was difficult to even move in the bathroom. Room was on the 6th floor and a private party was going on until 1 am on the rooftop terrace right above the room which was extremely loud. Also no access to the rooftop restaurant because of such party which is a highlight of booking the hotel in the first place as we were only staying one night. Additionally, at one point we had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes before we could get into the elevator to go to our room since the people from the private party were taking turns to use the elevator to get to 7th floor due to small elevator size. Some good things are complimentary water bottles and small fridge, hotel view of the Acropolis, hotel location, and free late check out. The free late checkout was much appreciated and staff was nice about accommodating. Also, free breakfast was nice.

This property was in a great location - very walkable to restaurants, shopping and the Acropolis. While there is a lot of graffiti in and around the buildings, the area felt very safe. The room is very small so you need to get creative if you have two suitcases. We stayed for 2 nights so it was not an issue. It could be if you are stYing for longer. Fabulous roof top bar!

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The reception was friendly and our room was very clean. However, the walls were thin and noise from the next room was a problem. That's the only problem, overall I'm satisfied.

Staff was very unhelpful with mistake made in our reservations, dismissive, told us to call "reservations" and gave us a number that NEVER answered, we called for three days and they never picked up. We tried to get some help from the front desk, we got none. They were unkind. Hotel facility is basic but OK, our rooms were quite tiny with no room to move. The so called "included breakfast" was awful - they gave us two soggy white bread slices (not even toasted) - with some cheese slice and some juice boxes.

Hotel staff was amazing and so extraordinary helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed - coffee pot, mini fridge, and toiletries. Air conditioning was only operable when room key was inserted so it took a while for the room to cool down upon our return. Roof top restaurant is a must-see and the food/drinks/views were outstanding! We loved our visit to Athens!

Excellent location and helpful staff. We booked a taxi to the airport through Central Athens Hotel unfortunately we left our cellphone in the taxis' backseat. Hotel staff was able to contact our taxi driver and he returned our phone shortly. So thankful for caring people.

We had family interconnecting room and it worked well - basic and smallish but ok. Great location and lovely rooftop bar. Hotel is worrh it for these things. However, as noticed in other reviews, reception staff are not particularly helpful or friendly. Mostly standing around talking amoungst themselves. My son was very sick on our departure day and when i asked if we could keep the room for a few extra hours as our flight was later, i was informed that it was available but for a charge of 40 euros. This maybe be usual policy, but when a child is sick this seemed pretty heartless to me since no-one else was checking in for the room. This kind of attitude is very poor for a hotel like this and not up the standard of service in other hotels we used during our trip to Greece.

Location is excellent, 5 mins walking to pedestrian shopping and ten minutes from Monastiraki Square and Syntagma Square both lively areas. Breakfast offers great variety. No room for any “real complaints” - would re visit.

It is a conveniently located hotel, close to Plaka and Monastiraki . The view of the Acropolis from the hotel was superb. The area around the hotel is dirty, full of graffiti, empty storefronts and feels unsafe and unkept. Of course it's not the Hotel's fault but it affects the overall experience.

The area seemed a bit unsafe when we arrived but as it turned our we felt totally comfortable walking throughout the area. It is very conveniently located to shops and restaurants and the restaurant on the terrace is excellent with good food and a view that can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is walkable to the shopping and tourist area, and into the Acropolis and other sites. It's modern and comfortable, well air conditioning, and the rooms are really super clean. Our room had a view of the acropolis that was lit up at night. The rooftop dining also with a view of the acropolis lit up, was very good food, and a very decent price. We pre-booked a taxi from the airport, and then again from the hotel to the cruise ship terminal, and paid for it before we left the states We received confirmation and there was no problem there whatsoever. We were there one night before our cruise. It was a great place to stay, the hosts were cordial and permitted us to rest in the lobby till our room was ready, as we had a very early flight and check-in wasn't until 3 o'clock, however, when the room was done at 1:30 regained admittance. The complementary breakfast had many delicious items, and the bakery items were home baked, I saw the woman making them myself. Totally adequate food, clean, and nice and plenty of diversity!

Amazing breakfast with wide variety of options including hot foods, cold meats, fruit, veggies and yogurt. Also included juices and coffee. Room was well kept and neat and included a view of the acropolis, which was amazing. Good location in walking distance from main ancient sites and shopping areas. Rooftop dinner with a view of the Acropolis was beautiful and would definitely recommend booking a table when you stay. Would highly recommend.
