Hotel Fiona was very, very beautiful. The staff was very helpful, very patient with us. They let us do early check-in. I actually work for a hyatt hotel, so getting a beautiful arrival upon check in, is definitely worth it. Thank you again to the staff

Our stay at the Fiona was great. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. Hotel Fiona guests have access to the heated rooftop pool at SoMa House, located across the street so bring a bathing suit if that interests you. The WiFi is free. It was great they offered parking ($33), however, it is first come first served. We arrived early to ensure we could get a spot and the Fiona allowed us to check in a little early. I didn't expect that so it was a welcome surprise. Parking at the hotel is very convenient. The Fiona was within walking distance to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium which is why we chose this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and fun. We chose a room with a "city view". We were assigned to the Cheech Marin room (2nd floor) which overlooked the street, however, it was quite loud. Our room was adjacent to the side street which was a hangout and thoroughfare for pedestrians. We saw a lot of drug activity and people experiencing homelessness. My husband and I did not feel uncomfortable or concerned by this, but others might. The garbage trucks also go down the side street which loud. Overall, our experience was great. I would definitely stay again.

I booked this room for my daughter for her birthday. She and her friends stayed, but did not go out much because they didn't feel very safe in the area. She told me that she was surprised that the price was what it was for the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is definitely not as advertised. I am honestly convinced all the positive reviews are fake. The lobby is quite dirty. My entire floor smelled badly of smoke and there was hair all over the floor. I talked to the man at the reception desk and he said he didnt work there and was actually a valet from across the street covering shifts and couldt help. He was very kind and helpful to his ability but this wasnt event his job, so I didnt want to make a big deal. I cut my stay a day short which is the first time I have ever done that. I really hate giving a poor review I just dont want others to have the same experience as myself.
