Hampton Inn Chicago Orland Park

Convenient parking. Friendly staff. Recently built (less than 1 yr old). Nice touches made stay more comfortable (plenty of hooks for hanging clothes, towels). Safety grip in the tub came in handy (foot injury).

We had a pleasant stay at this property. The only issue I had.....although they state that there are microwaves, if requested, I discovered that it is not true. There is only one microwave, on the 1st floor (which the entirely hotel has access to).

There are no microwaves in the room. The hotel is very clean and quiet.

During our stay someone taking a shower managed to set off the fire alarm. The entire property was kicked out of their rooms and we had to wait quite some time before being allowed to return. All because of a hot shower. Also the pool was out of order our entire stay. Which was one of the main reason we decided to stay at this place.

Overall nice place to stay. The staff were friendly. The pool needs to be cleaned, the water was cloudy in appearance and had a lot of dust and hair sitting on top of water.

The staff were generally very nice but the room was not well-cleaned. They didn’t service the room despite my request—i had to ask several times to get it once despite being there 5 days. The breakfast did not have enough food for the crowd—-they told us it was from 7-10 and then the kitchen manager decided to close it at 9:30. When people complained, he told them he could close it whenever he wanted to. The next day, they told people 30 mins before it was supposed to close that they were out of food. The work out room had a broken Peloton that was obviouslly much older than the hotel, and there were no cups to get water from the water cooler in the fitness “center”. To top it off, there was a fire alarm that went off, probably due to someone vaping. What a s-show.

Immediately after checking in our room keys didn’t work. Leslie the manager was unapologetic and couldn’t fix issue by time had to leave for dinner reservations. Then 3 days into our stay, we got wake-up knock at our door by staff even though we had do not disturb. Their records were showing that we did not check in. Then additional problems next two days with key cards not working on fitness room or other amenities.just problem after problem. Never had problem at any other Hampton inn but would never put ourselves through that again. When you check in , you don’t want a bunch of issues first thing.it ruined experience for rest of 5 day stay

Fire alarm went off at 11:45 pm. Did not discount lack of sleep.

Friendly staff. Very clean. The pool is very small with dept 3’ to 4’. If we had kids it wouldn’t be the hotel for us. Breakfast food is good.

We travel a lot and picked this particular hotel because of its close proximity to where we needed to be. Our room was disgusting. There were crumbs and fingerprints and hair and spilled sticky stuff on most places. Luckily we were exhausted and the beds were clean. Will not be back.

Super clean and upscale hotel woth a bunch of food and shopping options nearby. Staff were suoer accommodating and friendly during our stay. The rooms, lobby, breakfast dining area and hallways were beyond clean. Very ompressed wirh our stay here.

When I got to my room, the floor was sticky so I had to wipe it down with a towel which was dark brown after I cleaned. There was also a curly hair in the sink. I could also hear a couple “doing the thing” one of the nights. The bed was comfy and shower hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was ok. Overall it was a good experience, besides the dirty floors.

Breakfast was good. The room was nice but wasn’t that clean. The carpet floor and bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Even the carpet in the hallway was dirty.

Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but rest of the room was very clean

At first look the room and bathroom appears to be clean, but I found hair and dust in the closet, bathroom base board and under the sink cabinet. I recleaned and sanitized the entire room and bathroom before unpacking. Also no wash cloth was left after the room was cleaned. I call the front and ask for some without sucess. I had to get them myself.

Great location, quiet, clean rooms. Friendly staff. The free breakfast needs a lot of help. Not many options & the taste of what’s available isn’t good. The mattresses need to be replaced in this hotel. They are hard & lumpy.

This new hotel is super clean and convenient to shopping. The break fast was good. One downside: the room doors are heavy and very loud. We could hear other people’s doors slamming late into the night. And the worst thing: checkout is noon but a housekeeper knocked on the door at 11. At 11:05 she knocked again because she wanted to clean the room. Despite her language barrier I explained that checkout isn’t until noon. A “do not disturb” sign was already on the door. This was rude of her and an invasion my our privacy. The front desk staff apologized but nothing else was done.

Our stay was fine except that the television did not work the entire time we were there.

The rooms are too small.We have lodged in rooms with two queen beds and we had enough room but overall great service,good breakfast and nice staff

The hotel overall was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable (although, the pillow size was weird for a king size bed). The breakfast had a nice variety and was good (the blueberry scones were delish). However, the fire alarm went off three times during our 4-night stay. Once after 11:00pm and twice before 10:00am. There wasn't much communication around it except for when our room set off the alarm for seemingly no reason (the only thing we could think of was maybe steam from the shower... which seems problematic if that's what happened all three times). It wasn't at the worst times, but it was annoying.

Arriving to the hotel was fine, the room was spacious and updated, I loved the Netflix feature on the tv, very nice. The beds were comfortable and roomy. However, I was on the second floor and constantly heard a loud thuds throughout my stay which sounded like plumbing or mechanical noise problems, that was quite annoying and frustrating especially while trying to sleep. Lastly the shower water was Luke warm which I wasn’t a fan of, I like hot showers and they need to adjust the temp for their guest.

Let's just say that H isn't just for Hampton, it's for Hospitality. Truly an unexpected experience when it comes with size. The room I stayed in was remarkably spacious, giving me plenty of room to relax, unpack, and feel right at home. The layout was thoughtfully designed, the furniture was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and meticulously maintained. It’s rare to find a hotel room that feels this open and inviting. Staff was great and showed professionalism along with a warm smile on such a cold and snowy day!) 5 stars -Definitely will be returning on my next visit

it was terrible! since we were checking in, I came after a 7-hour drive, and it took about 10 minutes for the staff to check us in. mainly because she kept interrupting the process by answering phone calls, solving their issues, and helping the other staff while she is holding the keys with her!. she could have checked us in and then helped whoever. nothing was urgent. We went to the room and looked for a microwave to sanitize the bottles for the baby and we did not find one [one of the reasons we took the room because it mentioned a microwave in the room]. went to the reception and they told us they didn't have any room with a microwave and they asked me to talk to the third party that I used to reserve the room; [hotels.com] to fix the issue! The AC is loud and sometimes it needs to be set multiple times to get the temp you want. I needed coins for laundry. I had a 1$ coins which the machine doesn't take, the receptionist said she'd give me quarters. I gave her the dollar coin and she refused to take them for some reason. I only needed 2 dollars worth of quarters. She insisted on not taking them for a reason I don't know why yet. Putting everything together, I felt I was scammed coming to this hotel. the receptionist has zero understanding of customer service and how to handle customer needs. I am not coming back to this hotel!

Hotel was new and clean and very well run. Only complaint would be pillows were a bit small and the pool was heated. David at the front desk was great and went out of his way to make sure we're comfortable and had everything we needed at check in.

When people complained, he told them he could close it whenever he wanted to. The next day, they told people 30 mins before it was supposed to close that they were out of food. The work out room had a broken Peloton that was obviouslly much older than the hotel, and there were no cups to get water from the water cooler in the fitness “center”. To top it off, there was a fire alarm that went off, probably due to someone vaping. What a s-show.

We tried to call multiple times because we were arriving late but no one answered. We booked a room with 2 queens through Expedia but when we arrived they said there was only one room left with one King bed. They said that's your fault because you booked through Expedia and so your room preferences are not guaranteed. They were not even nice about it. Housekeeping did not even check our room or restock any towels for our 2 night stay either. I guess booking through Expedia gives you second class service at this Hilton owned hotel. I will not be staying here again!

We stayed here after 1/2 day in Chicago, kind of just passing through. Prices were inflated in Chicago due to St Patrick’s Day I’m sure. This was a great pick of locations. The area is nice, an open suburb. Much better than I was expecting. It is not close to Michigan Ave area attractions. It was about 45 minute from there which worked out fine for us. The hotel is new, fresh and well thought out. If you’ve stayed in. Newer Hampton Inn I’m sure this is similar. The bed is comfortable, the room size is great. The bathroom is perfect. The shower head is mounted pretty high which I am sure taller people appreciate. The products are mounted in the shower. They seemed decent. We had one empty bottle which was annoying. Housekeeping could spend a little bit of extra effort in the corners in there. The vanity area is great, small sink but great vanity space with more on a small ledge above. I love the mirror. It’s big with fantastic lighting. I’m a makeup girlie and it’s awesome for that. I was just at a swanky midtown hotel in NYC. I preferred this bathroom. Breakfast is great and well set up. Lots of seating good coffee. I was kind of stunned when my husband said, “try the eggs, they’re good!” When does that happen?! One thing, if you’re sensitive to fragrance like I am that may be an issue. I survived. Hope this helps!

This property was very clean and comfortable. Lots to do and see in the area. I was visiting for doctor appointments in the area and the hotel offered great restaurant suggestions.

This was my first time staying at a Hampton hotel and when I tell you I had a great experience from the time I entered the building until I left. The ladies at the front desk were courteous, efficient and informative. The check in process was quick. My room was spotless, loved the huge television, lighting, and near compartments for clothing, ect. I loved the adjustable thermostat in the bedroom and the spacious bathrooms with an impeccable shower. I loved that they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion in the hotel room just in case you forgot yours. I loved the huge mirrors, and the make up removal cloths. Hampton is a hotel I would definitely stay in again. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices to choose from, waffles with toppings, yogurt, toast, cereal, oatmeal! There was something for everyone! Will stay again 10/10 definitely recommend.

Ran out of food for breakfast… requested food from employee and they didn’t want to do it because breakfast would be ending in 30 minutes. This is unacceptable! I paid nearly $400 per night that includes breakfast… I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. I will not stay again!!!!!

Its a newer hotel compared to the other Hampton inn at Tenly park. Very clean and bright. One thing i have to complain about is that breakfast ended at 9am instof 10am, so we went down at 8:30am and the eggs were finished and the attendant said there isn't anymore. She started up packing stuff up before 9am and closed the door at 9am.
