This was my first stay at Courtyard by Marriott Houston Sugar Land/Stafford, and overall, the experience was positive. The property offers well-maintained facilities, attentive staff, and ample parking. Its location is convenient, with easy access from Highway 59/69. Having stayed in this neighborhood for over a decade, I can confirm the area is well-served with dining options within a five-minute drive and a shopping mall directly across the freeway. One area for improvement is the lack of complimentary breakfast. Comparable hotels in the vicinity and price range typically include breakfast, which is a valued convenience for travelers. While I am not expecting gourmet offerings, a simple option such as coffee and toast would enhance the guest experience, particularly for those on the go. This omission may not be a concern for guests who skip breakfast, but it is worth noting for others. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I will likely explore alternative properties in the area for future visits.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The hotel was very clean however the room had an over powering smell of cleaning products which reminded me of cheap deodorizer you get at a bad car wash. It was so overpowering that we had to prop the door open. The bed was the most horrible bed I have EVER slept in. It was lumpy and needs to be replaced. Neither myself nor my daughter could sleep very much. The hotel is very well maintained and you can tell that the staff take pride in keeping it that way.

I’m disappointed in the amount of cost to stay here and what I got in return . I stayed the weekend of the 13-15th . Let me address my many issues . For one the pictures really give the room justice because i don’t know if they edit the pictures or what but when I got to the room I was shocked. It felt dirty and uncomfortable. Two the ants !! the ants were bad they were all over the table even when we didn’t have food out the ants started multiplying the longer we stayed . Three the lights were out from 7am-2pm it was hot I couldn’t do anything I couldn’t charge my phone or get ready . It’s not the fact that the lights were out because things happen it’s the fact that there was no apologies. there were no announcements there was no refund /partial refund I sat in the dark and heat for almost 8hrs and they offered nothing! and then they called my room after saying I needed to make another payment even tho I paid for 2 nights in full already . I’m not a complainer but I will say I am extremely disappointed and wish I could get some kind of refund

First room had a terrible smell and we were put in a second room. There was hole on the floor that was covered with carpet and some of the towels smelled terribly. Room service did not even clean the room and simply passed through to other rooms. Will not be returning here again. The only wonderful experience was the customer service we received during our stay.
