Overall, I would not recommend this motel. PROS: location, large fridge in room, easy check in. CONS: site photos should be updated. The motel does not look like the pictures. There is a big dirt/weed lot in the middle of the facility (looks like where a pool may have been), rusty fence surrounding said dirt pit, piles of garbage behind the office (in direct line of site for most of the rooms), challenging parking, and potentially the worst of all - the beds. It’s hard to say when they were last replaced, just know if you lay in the center and roll over you will continue rolling to the side of the bed like a volcano. There are two body indentations on either side of the mattress. It was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. I’m sad to say that it negatively affected our stay in Santa Cruz. I feel bad submitting this review because it’s probably a family owned business, but they really need to reinvest in the property.

I had an amazing time at the hotel. There was only one problem the neighbors up on top whoever rented it were so darn noisy it took me a while to fall asleep, but other than that, it was an amazing clean broom good customer service property was up-to-date on service of being clean courtesy I would rent it again cause it was only five minutes from the beach

The hotel is in a great location, and the room sizes are quite adequate. However, the cleanliness was terrible. There were stains nearly the size of a hand on the curtains, and the carpet and other furnishings had stains that had become caked-on over time. Everything in the room was either broken or in a state of severe neglect and disrepair.

Great location, nice front desk clerk. Room was fine except smell in the bathroom. It needs a more powerful fan. It smelled really moldy. No way to air it out.
