Hampton Inn Coventry - Warwick Area

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Staff was very friendly and check in/check out was easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a variety of option. The indoor pool and hot tub were a plus. The fitness center was nice with new equipment. It was centrally located to Newport and Providence. I would definitely stay here again.

Kay was very welcoming at check in and check out was also quick and easy! The breakfast was good, the room was clean. The hot tub and pool were amazing. Couldnt ask for more!

It was nice to have breakfast available each morning. The hot tub and pool were quite nice but the hot tub was out of order our second night. It may be unrelated, but we saw a lot of guests with their small children in the hot tub (in water wings, etc.) using it like a kiddie pool, which is dangerous. Staff didn’t seem to be aware of it. Otherwise really nice place and convenient location.

It was amazing but the bleach in the pool was to much. It was burning my eyes as well as my husband's eyes.

Love this my third time here. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service otherwise always a nice stay.

The pool was over crowded with a birthday party. Kids were jumping and splashing all over, including the hot tub. Also was way too much chlorine.

The property was under major renovation. But they made the adjustments well and the signs were clear. The rooms were clean and the workers were fairly quiet performing the renovations.

The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and attentive. It was clear that they truly cared about their property. The room was well appointed with everything being clean and functional, and there was an abundance of outlets and power ports for charging devices. The gym was open 24 hours and had an elliptical, several treadmills and a large selection of weights. The free breakfast area was clean and had a nice selection of items available, additionally there was a small concession where additional food items could be purchased. We will most certainly be using this property for our visits in the future. Kudos to the staff!

We brought our dog and they gave us a room close to the side exit/entrance so that we could get outside quickly for bathroom runs. They also had a list of emergency vets if needed.

Electrical outlets almost everywhere we wanted them. Night stand on left side only had a USB-C charging port, no 120v outlet. Room was clean & quiet. The blackout shade did a great job. Bed: 3 Too warm for me, up multiple times a night. No back pain. Shower: 5 Showerhead height great. Bathroom: Toilet low. Would be problematic when travelling with aging parents. Good lighting for shaving and make-up. Appreciated the shelf at the back of the vanity. Breakfast: Worst we've had in a Hampton Inn. Breakfast meats awful. French toast pieces and pancakes with apple filling had hard chewy bits to them. The timer on the left waffle maker didn't work. Guests who knew would warn others, and the staff occasionally did as well, but some people had overcooked waffles. Coffee area only had regular, decaf, and hot water for tea. We missed the dark roast. No variety for tea bags. At one point, it was filled with all green tea bags. Had breakfast grab bags at the front desk. Don't know what was in them. Has a large hot tub as well as the pool, which was nice. There are a couple tables outside the laundry area where someone can have a smoke without feeling like a 2nd-class citizen. There's a disposal column at the door, but no ashtrays. So bring something with you that will work as an ashtray. Staff everywhere was pleasant, friendly, and helpful when we needed it. Had enough parking. Spots are a little narrow. If you have a car with large doors, park strategically.

Loved the walk-in shower, but could have used real curtains on the window, as the one there did not screen out outdoor lights and kept the room bright at night.

The room was clean, quiet, and spacious—perfect for three people. The pullout bed was a great option and surprisingly comfortable. The main bed was also very cozy, and we all got a good night’s sleep. Plenty of space to relax without feeling cramped. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back.

Convenient breakfast. AC was frigid in hall. One of our rooms didn't have heat. We put a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator which froze and exploded. Water bottle just above it was fine.

Staff was great, breakfast was good. It was clean. My room could've used a comfortable chair. Bathroom: toilet was way to low, should have more safety bars in shower/bath. Soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner were awesome.

The air conditioning would turn off all the time and would not get the room cooled down to where I was comfortable. Water pressure was weak. Breakfast wasn't great. The fire alarm was hanging out of the wall by wires. We could hear our neighbors talking which normally doesn’t happen in a hotel. The staff was great and the room was great!

First night we were running late coming from Virginia. We called hotel and were told our room might not be available when we arrived because she had to do an audit. I told her I prepaid a non-refund charge for the room. She said I should take that up with the third-party (Expedia). She then recommended direct booking instead of using a scam like Expedia. Everthing else was fine except there was no microwave. Really?

Problem using the phone to call front desk to tell them WiFi didn’t work

The staff was friendly and always willing to please.The location was great to the main highway.

Was running late for check-in and got a lot of grief from night clerk. She complained that Expedia and other third partyq providers were a "scam". She said we should book the hotel directly because you profited too much. Also threatened to not give us the room we paid for in advance because we were after midnight and she had to prepare her "audit". Not friendly or courteous at all. She thought my payment didn't count because it was to Expedia and not her.

Kay at the front desk was amazing. She checked us in quick, made sure to let us know that if we needed anything she would be at the front desk until 11pm. Then she was willing to get me hot water from the kitchen because someone was using the hot water carafe. Honestly...talk about going the extra mile. We need more people like Kay! Great stay at a great hotel.

My parents come up from NY with our dog because my apartment does not allow dogs. Beds are comfy, breakfast is good, close to places to eat. Special thanks to Matt overnight who at 4am helped my elderly Dad stand up in the room after he fell. Also for staff loving my dog and giving him a treat!

The sofa bed is right up against the vent (AC) blowing cold air. Called front desk for a pillow, blankets, towels and pillows (registered for 3 people...only had supplies for 2) and they never brought it up! Had to go down myself AND the "blanket" provided was more of a sheet!!! We had to pile hoidies on my son since he was soooo cold.

Hotel room was clean, had all the needed items, fridge, coffee, toiletries, iron with board in room. Front desk staff were very attentive and welcoming. Pool and hot tub looked nice though we did not have time to use them. Breakfast was good too. This hotel was close to the water and short drive to Newport at half the cost of staying in Newport at peak season.

Hotel was very convenient, close to stores, two major universities, Brown and URI.

Well located property if you’re driving with freeway access 2 minutes away. Numerous eating options in walking distance and major shopping like Walmart just down the road. No dining available at the hotel but a simple breakfast is served. Very clean and well maintained premises. Rooms are spacious and modern. Staff are super friendly. Highly recommended.

This hotel was great; clean rooms, a convenient location, and pleasant staff. We didn't spend much time in the room, but the time we did spend suited our needs.

My parents were very impressed with the nice accommodations. My mom called it very modern. Convenient to eateries and gas station. The only difficulty was that the sleep button did not work on our remote. The room was not cleaned during out stay and sofa bed was a little creaky. Breakfast was yummy!

Clean with very comfy beds. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but better than most. Friendly staff as well.

Very nice hotel, you can tell it was recently refurbished. Breakfast was very good each morning - nice selection, well staffed. If I were to improve anything, I’d add something on top of the mattresses to make them a little softer. But overall the hotel was a welcome respite at the end of each day.

Newly renovated, bed were comfy, only had 3 towels in bathroom for 4 guests, went to breakfast at 9:30 and there wasn’t any food left, checked for coffee twice and both times empty. Nice area, close to lots of restaurants.
