What guests think

At Hotel Urdiñola Saltillo, travelers praise the central, walkable location and historic building, but many reviews cite aging conditions, inconsistent cleanliness, and neglected maintenance, alongside security concerns and disruptive noise from the surroundings.

Service is mixed: some guests report friendly attention, while others describe rude or absent staff, slow responses, and reservations not honored. Common room issues include lack of AC or heating, weak or missing Wi‑Fi, TVs that do not work, uncomfortable or old beds, and low water pressure. Expect a budget stay with great access but notable trade‑offs.

The place needs attention to necessary details It is a beautiful building that is in decline due to the neglect of maintenance The noise of the nearby disco makes it difficult to rest. The only redeemable thing is the location

Stayed 1 night

No towels, our vehicle was broken into in the parking garage and many things of value stolen. The police returned some larger items but nothing of value. Very noisy on a street near clubs with loud music that went on late into the night.
