La cama fue una experiencia terrible, terrorífica estaba demasiado aguada además tenía muchas desniveles y agujeros por toda su área adicionalmente las almohadas estaban muy contrastadas una era demasiado aguada y otra estaba demasiado dura. I liked the service, the food options, the activities, the teen's club, and some of the shows. I didn't like their pool it needs a lot of cleaning and or work. Also all lounge chairs around the pool area are always "taken" way too early by people who put their towels, so by the time we'd go there around 12pm there's no were to put our stuff.

Dinner restaurants were great. Buffets in the morning were not so good. The whole resort lost water the first day we got there and our beg had bugs they had to change to different room. One of the main pools was dirty and closed the second day my son went in the pool not knowing that it had been treated with chlorine until a staff told us to wash his body all they kept saying was sorry for not having signs in the pool area.

El hotel está en muy malas condiciones en cuanto a servicios : Nuestra estancia fue de 5 noches No hubo agua en todo el hotel por 10 horas. con esto las condiciones de higiene de todos los huéspedes terrible tanto en restaurantes, baños etc por 2 días la alberca principal contaminada por una tubería de aguas negras, y no tenía señalamientos visibles que diera aviso a la gente que el agua contaminada!!!! Después de dos días abrieron la alberca pero se podía ver el fondo de la alberca sucia y por consiguiente el agua que era un foco de infección y perdieron entrar gente Un día no había agua caliente en nuestra habitación . The staff at the resort were all amazing - pool staff, entertainment staff, etc! We found our room to be very humid which left it with a musky smell. It is in need of some upgrades - jetted tub was dirty and bathroom small for a family of four. Other similar rooms we saw from our group appeared to have been upgraded and had the sink separate from the shower/toilet. Those rooms where definitely better!

I liked the location; this is a rundown old hotel that needs lots of work. the front and back of the house are somewhat rude and a few employees were outstanding and cared that you were actually there. The staff often stood around and spoke amongst themselves while guests waiting... Food was par, but mostly the dirty glass, pool concrete and the overall use of utensils had to really clean myself before eating

I cannot believe this is a Hard Rock Property, the hotel needs an upgrade and fast, the rooms are old that the door on my dresser was hanging off the hinge and the room was dirty, after i complained they "so call" upgrading me to the exact room accept with a better dresser, this was all inclusive, what a joke!! they had no bottled waters in the room nor on the property, Hard Rock you need to upgrade, i plan on returning to vallarta in feb but will definitely stay elsewhere!

Solo hay una red de internet para todo el hotel y no funciona. We were promised a bottle of wine each night for being Expedia VIP and we didn’t get not even 1. We brought it up twice to reception and the concierge, and they promised to bring it up but never did. Outdoor restaurants had a dress code of no sandals or tank tops and unfortunately, we didn’t come prepared. We weren’t told that dress code would be required within the confirmation or upon check in. Our room was located on the sixth floor and the minute you walked out of the elevator to walk to your room. There was a stench that almost smelled like moldy. That stench stuck on our clothes to wear what we had to wash all of our clothes whether they were clean or not when we got home.

Room was not good, we had no ac the whole time, called maintenance multiple times and they tried telling us it works fine. I own my own hvac company and they were lying to me. When calling for 21° and it doesn’t go down below 24.5° it does not work. He said turn fan on and that would help. Multiple calls made for this and no one cared or fixed it or changed rooms for us. Very disappointing, every night we could not sleep, the room are also very small and cramped for family of 4

En general disfruté mi estadía pero por lo que cuesta, quedé algo decepcionado en varios aspectos. Estaban reparando uno de los dos elevadores más cercanos a mi habitación. Para empezar eso ya entorpecía la rapidez al pedirlo y obviamente tenía que hacer el doble de paradas en varios pisos antes de llegar. Durante los primeros dos días, desde que ibas en el pasillo acercándote a las puertas del elevador y durante todo el trayecto dentro del elevador había un olor muy fuerte como a plástico quemado o como a frenos de coche quemados. La habitación en general está bien pero para lo que cuesta y para ser un hotel de lujo ya se nota lo viejo y lo descuidado. El piso ya tiene varios golpes o partes estrelladas, los muebles también, la pintura. Son detalles mínimos pero hay hoteles del mismo precio o incluso más baratos que son más lujosos y en donde se nota que ponen especial empeño en que no haya ningún defecto en la habitación. Debe haber enchufes de cada lado de la cama más accesibles, eso ya es un must en cualquier hotel de lujo. No debe ser que uno tenga que mover el buró, desconectar algo o tener que ver qué desconecto o dejo conectado para conectar un cargador de teléfono. 1. Checkin took 30mins 2. Had 2bring pool towels back by 8pm. If my room/name were taken, why not the option to return in the morning 3. Wish i had a view of the beach from the pool, couldnt see due to high shrubs 4. Everyday, no seating at the main pool because of reserved seating!!! my family had to sit by the hamb/hot dog stand & trash can 5. I was placed on the 1st floor which seemed like a basement near the staff & their carts 6. If i have a wristband, i dont see the need to ask me what room im in EvErYwHEre i go in the hotel!!!!

The room was clean but very old and smelly. There was one hostess from the restaurant Umo at dinner time named Alondra who was not very accommodating, she was not nice to our waiter, she did not like the way we placed our food orders, and very unfriendly. Alondra ruined our whole group's appetite! Because of her, I will not rebook the hard rock vallarta again. All of the other employees on the property were all very kind except Alondra!

Great people working here. The Sunbar team were fantastic! Staff at restaurants always go above and beyond and the room was cleaned to perfection daily! Only complaint would be the hard sell vacation staff, we went for the meeting. Actually considered investing in the vacation club but they would not allow us time to think about it. Please reconsider your hard sell and pestering tactics. Leaves a bad taste for an otherwise fantastic experience.

We love HRHV and this was our 7th visit to this property. I was quite shocked at how different and unpleasant this visit was compared to all of our others including our visit prior which was just in April of 2024. Our room was in terrible condition. We have stayed in that exact room 3 other times and our 4th was a nightmare. The drawers on the dresser would not close. We called maintenance and no one would come. They kept rolling out and we would bang into them. We tried to tape them closed. Then our toilet stopped flushing...what a nightmare! We called and they said they were sending someone within 5-8 minutes and we needed to wait for them. 30 minutes later we called again. 20 minutes later we called again and said they had permission to come into our room, but that we had to leave then for a scheduled activity. We came back 4 hours later and it still wasn't fixed. My wife went to the front desk and the person said he saw all of our calls and that this was unacceptable. To go back to our room and someone would be right there. It took another 4 hours to get the issue resolved. It was miserable. The food quality has gone way done. The entertainment staff is all new and the activities were either boring or just outright cancelled. We didn't get any of our VIP benefits even when we asked. I am sad to say that I don't think we will be back. I also feel we deserve a refund for 1 night due to the maintenance issue, missing dinner, etc. They only offered a 25 minute massage.

We had a beautiful view of the ocean. All of the staff were above average. Thankyou Gregorio for your excellent beach service! Hotel is older now but the location is excellent. Paradise Plaza Mall - 5 minute walk Flea Market across the street on Tuesdays Massage on the beach - 1 minute walk Shopping hut on the beach - 1 minute Walking on the beach goes on forever. Food good. Overall 4.3/5

The grounds were beautiful. The beach was great with great equipment loan options. Hotel rooms were quite spacious if a little dated. The food options were great at Ciao, Zen, and Frida. The teen hangout area could use new equipment. The entertainment was fun. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Overall a great stay! We would stay here again!

We liked the size of this resort, easy to get around and felt completely safe. The beach is nice with lots of loungers and shady areas. The ocean was very accessible for kids, volleyball areas were nice and drink service was good. All the staff were really pleasant and efficient in every department. The entertainment staff at the pool were fun and engaging. Drink service at the pools were excellent and the snack bar area was good. The main pool was large with a good pool bar and adjoining area for kids. Another pool that is heated was nice. Overall the hotel could use a refurbishment but all areas were very clean and maintained. The restaurants were excellent and I liked the no reservation system with the wait times in the Asian restaurant being a bit longer but not a problem. The only thing I wished they had was more of a buffet option for dinner. It listed a buffet but it really wasn’t maybe 1 night it was I think but it had very little selection. My grand kids like a good buffet and missed that. Room service was excellent with a good selection of food. Again I hope they plan on some updates soon and in particular the rooms. The huge 4 person jacuzzi in the hotel room takes up way to much space leaving you with 2 double beds in a tight space. 2 queens would be nice as 2 adults in a double bed was annoying. The pillows were the worst and they were all the same. The bathroom was so small with a very outdated kitty corner shower and zero counter space.

The Hard Rock is an older resort and in need of repairs and upgrades. But the staff are wonderful and most are very friendly. Stepping out on the beautiful beach area and walking for kilometres was amazing. Bucerias is not far at all and a nice area to visit. The Melacon isn’t far away either. Definitely would go back.

Staff was nice and friendly. Easy and quick check in / check out. Exterior property and pool areas were clean and very nice. Many activities for the adults and kids. Pool slide was awesome and my child enjoyed it a lot! Beach area was also nice and clean and rented the boogie boards which was fun. Food, for the most part, was very good with multiple restaurants to choose (Freda was our favourite). Both Breakfast buffets had great options and beautiful views from the Ciao location. Enjoyed the wood fired pizza by the pool almost daily. Enjoyed the pool swim up bar. Room was okay, and could possibly use an update at some point; however the cleaners kept it clean. IMO they could do away with the in room jacuzzi tub for more room space, bed, couch, table, etc. we didn’t use the tub at all and just seemed like waisted space. Partial ocean view was nice. Convenient and close to shopping with a mall a couple blocks away and a few beach shops near by. Other attractions a quick Uber or Taxi ride away (Vallarta Adventures and Dolphin Discovery). All in all, was a pleasant vacation and stay.

Fun activities. I like how no reservations were required for the restaurants, you just had to wait. Portion sizes in most of the restaurants were small so you need to order several dishes. Some of the shows were good. Service was pretty good but not excellent. The buffet needed more food options.

El hotel esta muy bien, la comida y la bebida tambien. Todo el personal es sumamente amable. Ahora bien, tiene algunas areas de oportunidad: - La habitación super humeda, nada se secaba y el baño no tiene extractor. - No hay reservaciones para los restaurantes, ni ponen tiempo de estancia, asi que hay gente que se queda horas y los tiempos de espera para conseguir lugar es de mas de una hora, o vas a las 18:00 como gringo, o esperas largos tiempos. - La alberca principal fría.

Incredibly good experience, we would return. The only challenge at all is the crowds at dinner time. If you go during a busy time you can wait over an hour to eat dinner. However on the plus side the staff are incredibly gracious, the facility is very nice, there's a lot of fun Hard Rock themed stuff, there are cool activities for the kids and for adults, and the entertainment team is top notch. It's just a great place to visit.

Super friendly staff, the Asian restaurant was by far the best dining, the bed and pillows were perfect! We will definitely come back!

Overall the experience was good at this resort, the pool and beach areas were nice and service was good at both, although the poolside can be a bit loud with music and activities from the resort entertainment staff. Most restaurants were good, although the Zen asian restaurant wasn't good food and made everyone sick after eating there. The room was nice, spacious and well kept, bed was a bit soft and uncomfortable. Staff were very friendly and available. There was some overall noise during the day as they are doing some renovations to the exterior of the building.
