What guests think

Reviews of Holiday Inn Morelia by IHG highlight an excellent, walkable location near malls and restaurants and generally friendly staff, while repeatedly noting the property is old, needs remodeling, and lacks an elevator, making luggage and access inconvenient.

Rooms are often comfortable but dated, with occasional noise from nearby venues, aging bathrooms and fixtures, limited outlets, and some AC issues. Cleanliness feedback is mixed: several reviews describe tidy spaces, while others report roaches or fleas, worn carpets, odors, and missed or inconsistent housekeeping. Facilities also draw comments about a very cold, unheated pool and a basic gym, whereas breakfast and restaurant service receive frequent praise for taste and attentiveness. Expect a convenient stay if you prioritize location and value over modern finishes and can manage stairs.
