What guests think

At Mision Guanajuato, travellers appreciate the historic architecture, while recurring issues include aging facilities, frequent elevator outages with many stairs, inconsistent cleanliness, service that varies from warm to unhelpful, and uneven dining quality.

Rooms are spacious or comfortable for some, but many mention weak or absent Wi-Fi, nonworking air conditioning, noise from corridors or the pool, and missing in-room phones. Facilities draw mixed feedback: the pool is often cold or small, parking feels limited or unsecured, and occasional power or hot-water interruptions affect stays. The location is quiet outside the center and works best with a car; walking access and the driveway can be awkward. Expect a characterful stay with notable trade-offs.

Stayed 2 nights
