Convenient property for tourists on foot. Located in heart of the tourist zone on Calle Adolfo López. Hotel has a very good, reasonably priced spa onsite. Competitively priced stay. Nothing Uber-fancy, but that adds to the authenticity. Thumbs up.

The hotel is old and rustic but we'll kept. The room we were in was large and the bathroom was a good size as well. Private parking and security was good. The area is touristy with lots of good restaurants. Just a few blocks from the ocean. Check is is at 3 pm and check out is 2 noon not 11 am.

Sylvia and Eden were great at the lobby. All staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating Pool was nice and clean as was the room and bathroom. Will be back on our next trip to Ensenada..

Nice and clean. Rooms are large. Staff is friendly, secure parking. However parking is a little bit tight. My room was next to the main street so it's quite noisy at night when you're trying to sleep. Request the room that is not close to the street if you want something quiet.

I really like this hotel rooms are very spacious not so much handicap friendly but my dad managed! Pool was not ready use water was dirty not clear. People were very nice and friendly

I do not recommend. The room was old and you could easily hear the noise from the street such as outdoor conversations and cars, despite the patio being closed. The hotel room smelled. The bed, despite being advertised as a queen, was not one. The bed felt like you were sleeping on a rough cardboard box - too firm. The walls of the closet in the room was connected to the bathroom so if you wanted to you can share what you're doing with the world. That is honestly just a haphazard renovation at best. The shower tile was grimey. The service was fine but not fantastic. I can see why there were not really any other guests on our floor. We checked out an hour after seeing our room.

An extremely noisy location at night. The room was over a bar that plays loud music very late. Confusing rates over pets. It’s different every place you look. Even the rules posted in the lobby I are different than the website. Day staff is very nice. Night staff is… not so much. Great location for food, walking, bars, etc. Shower needs a cleaning. Mildew. Hall way carpet is very stained. Very secure parking.

Me encanto mi cuarto con vista a la ciudad menos las almohadas :} en lo personal estaban muy duras, la limpieza excellente, habia cafetera en mi cuarto pude tomar mi cafesito 10 de 10, me lave y pude secar mi pelo hay una mini secadora para pelo :} pudimos caminar de un lado a otro con seguridad hay tiendas cafeterias bares y me gusto mucho la modalidad de la venta de mariscos frescos en las carretas cerca del hotel. todo fue muy accessible. muchas gracias hasta la proxima!

It was a nice place to stay no major complaints. My only complaint is we were told there was a fast pass for $40 to purchase the morning before we left to make our trip across the border a little faster. (We checked out at 5:30am) and that morning the guy said it was $45 dollars and we questioned the guy at the front desk about it being $40 dollars and then he just told us the government website was down and we couldn’t get one (he seemed frustrated and mad about us questioning him) This delay forced us to cancel our flights and rebook. It takes on a good day 2 hours to get across the border and with the fast pass about 15-30 minutes to get across. (Just know if your an American and pay in American currency you will be over charged by everyone you do business with and things are a lot cheaper than what you might pay for in the state. It’s a tourist place where they know they can take advantage of you and overcharge you.)

Facilities were good and hotel was nice.. the staff specifically eduardo sanchez was very rude and condescending. Simple questions seemed to make him mad and talk to me and my family like we were dumb. Will not be booking there again until he is fired.

Manager was rude, did not allow visitors. Only allowed at lounge cause I only paid for single. Wouldn’t allow to change (pay) occupancy to double. Dog’s two doors down howling. Lost water for 45 minutes. Tv was a joke.

La propiedad está un poco antigua. Hay mucho ruido de la calle y de las habitaciones contiguas incluso durante la madrugada. Muy difícil descansar. El restaurante del hotel tiene música en vivo en la banqueta hasta la medianoche, por lo que si tu habitación da a la calle, prepárate.

Our family absolutely loves staying at El CID! The staff, service, location and hotel room vibe are top notch! Don’t be discouraged by the fact they don’t provide breakfast. You’ll probably enjoy all the eateries up and down the boulevard more than a daily continental breakfast. We won’t stay anywhere else in Ensenada!

La atencion fue excelente, las amenidades correctas, solo le doy 4/5 estrellas porque no tienen restaurante. Lo mencionan pero no funciona y no hau servicio a la habitacion, es lo unico malo. Las habitaciones son algo viejas pero le da un toque acogedor y eso es bueno y conveniente.
