Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Racine Harbourwalk

Room was clean and beds comfortable, that was best part. Dim lighting throughout, no communication of late breakfast start on Saturdays, late to open and food not ready when it did open. Pastries and bagels stale. Had a private party in “restaurant” the night before that is not really a restaurant. No room service available from the non-restaurant (despite a banner showing a delicious looking pizza by the entrance of “restaurant”) Ended up eating at supper club next door which was fine but pretty fancy and pricey for a meal with a 13 year old. Overall was ok, kid enjoyed the pool, and the view is nice. Not up to snuff with other Doubletrees I’ve stayed at.

The setting of the breakfast room (overlooking the marina) is lovely early in the morning. There is an extra fee and it is a standard buffet, but service was prompt and the atmosphere was pleasant and convenient. Hotel was much cleaner than the last time I stayed there and is undergoing some remodeling. I love that there are only three floors and that staircases are pleasant and readily available. Also nice to be able to step outside and walk along Lake Michigan, or up to Racine’s Main Street where there are a few restaurants, etc.

The pool was closed. The staff was unhelpful. Wouldnt allow us to change a room even thiugh willing to pay the difference. Guests which i believe belonges to night shift staff were up all night running and yelling and swearing in the halls even after asked to be quiet. I live in racine and unfortunately we couldnt take the "classy" racine locals out of a nice hotel. Very disappointed in what was supposed to be a romantic getaway for my birthday..bad.

It would be great if breakfast were included, but there was a small fridge where I could keep breakfast items, so no real issue. Great value and good fitness room.

Blood spots on the shower curtain, small spots not like someone was shot in there. Dust thick by the coffee pot I could have wrote my name (that was the only super dusty space). Paid for breakfast, oatmeal was a pot of water with a few oat flakes floating around. No syrup, not their fault, you can’t get anything thanks to “supply shortages “. Location was great! Pool and pool area was nice and clean. A few complaints, but I would stay again!

Room and location were great. The key card unit was down so I never got a key, made for a less than stellar stay.

Staff was amazing, location close to downtown and a short walk to many restaurants. Pool and hot tub were clean. Hot breakfast was wonderful.

Although going through remodeling, the property was in good condition. The lake views are mesmerizing. The tv system was cumbersome. Sent a message to staff but no one contacted us. There were no guides to help. Overall though, it was a very nice stay.

The parking garage is a little confusing because it's not clearly labeled as the garage for the hotel. Expedia shows there to be EV charging at this hotel; there is not. The room was clean and we had everything we expected. The hallways and lobby were rather warm and bordering on uncomfortable.

As others have stated you have to pay $5 per day for parking ramp across the street-purchase at check-in and card is inserted and returned to you by machine for the length of stay no matter how many times you leave and return. Area appeared safe compared to other Racine locations. Breakfast was crazy for what was paid for- in middle of serving hours there were no plates and no hot food. Was told it would come out in 10 minutes. After an hour we ate muffins and had coffee and called it quits. We got our charge changed to continental instead of buffet when we checked out. (It should have been free of charge) We didn't attempt to eat there on the second morning. Rooms are updated nicely and lake location was beautiful with nice walking path.

Usually when i go here its very clean. This time when we got in the room it looked as if it hadnt been vacuumed, there was small pieves of food on the floor. The fridge had what looked like dried spilled popsicles and in the shower there was hair. Im disappointed as this was one of our favorite hotels that weve been going to since our daughter was a baby. Unsure if we will return unfortunately.

Hallway carpeting looks dirty. Room carpeting looks dirty. Checking in, front desk lady acted like she didn’t want to be there. Very flat affect and uninviting. I opted to pay for breakfast, food was basic hotel food, better off eating out. Bathroom, the smallest I’ve seen in a hotel. Not worth what I paid for.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is clean and well-maintained. The location is great for walking around the marina and downtown. Hotel staff were super helpful and friendly.

Dirty. Dusty everywhere.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I was disappointed in my stay. The view was nice and staff was friendly but that is about it. My linens had a spot, I asked for new linens and had to make my own bed. Then the fridge, microwave, and light didn’t work. I didn’t have time to have them come fix, so I used a family member’s who stayed in a different room. I dropped my ring and when I went to pick up found someone else’s sock and some type of nut that was not mine. They didn’t even lift the bed to clean. There was also a bunch of coffee that seemed like it slipped between the glass so they just needed to lift it to clean. In our other party’s room they found a kid’s shoe. Mind you the bed has a block so it wasn’t deep where they couldn’t see, they didn’t even lift to check. We also didn’t get our welcome cookie which is obviously not a big deal but something my family and I joked about when we saw the car outside advertising it. I don’t know why it is labeled a 4 star, it is maybe a 3 star. The breakfast was good and pool seemed nice, though we didn’t have time to utilize. Can’t get over the lack of cleanliness though.

We have stayed here multiple times. This time was the worst. We went to our room. This was a yogurt left in the refrigerator,a sock in the corner of the bed, a pill on the floor. The breaking point was pulling back the sheet and finding what looked like puke on the comforter. We went to the front desk we were moved but nothing further.

Great location on the lake. Mia checked us in and was awesome, couldn’t be friendlier. All of the staff that we encountered were very nice. The hotel does have a mustiness about it and the carpeting needs a good cleaning.

The hotel was doing renovations and WiFi was awful. Good thing I was there only one night. Could not download files. Had to go to another location. Awful

Just not that great of a hotel for the price. Parking was out the entire first day of our stay. The bathroom in our room was incredibly small. Housekeeping came at incredibly early times everyday. The pier side was nice but there was so much construction around the hotel it was a nightmare to travel to as well as try and sleep in the early hours of the morning. My recommendation would be to just go with a cheaper hotel in the area because the premium price for this one was not worth it.

Very nice stay. My room was located by the "ballroom" which had a celebration going on that was so loud you couldnt hear the TV. Luckily I had my noise canceling head phones. I had dinner, soup and oysters in the attached restaurant. Tara (no H) was extremely attentive with great recommendations, super fast service and humor.

The hotel has an excellent harbor view. Main complaint is the poor lighting in the room. Low lighting even at the desk. Cool bluish LED.

For a $250 a night, the room was small the bathroom super small and I am a big lady, very uncomfortable plus the windows view was to the parking lot instead of the harbor.

Nice location on the water. We were upgraded to a water-view room at check-in. There were a few small issues in the room (squeaky bathroom door, weak TV remote, and sticking entry door, but overall it was fine.

Great location on the water and easy walk to downtown. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was very spacious and comfortable.

The room was a little small but absolutely fine. The bathroom was small also. The chair that had to sit in was a sling chair. Not great for everyone. The hotel overall was great, very nice and right on the water/marina. Definitely would stay there again if in Racine.

Good location. Wifi was very unreliable. Breakfast was not included on the reservation and was not worth the price paide.

When I arrived I was told there were no rooms available even though I had a confirmation number and had to find another hotel in a different town.

It was a great stay , the hotel's staff was courteous and polite. Always happy to assist and make sure they stay was enjoyable . Jessica was extremely helpful with our stay and service of the room .

The manager Roxanne was nasty and very rude. I have always preferred to stay at anything Hilton and I know I will have a great stay out if there is an issue it’s usually rectified and I was treated so horribly by that manager I could not believe that Hilton would hire someone so nasty.

This was truly the worst experience. I’m an IHG member and I tried to step out of my comfort zone and try this hotel. Horrible decision. I checked in, went to the room, smelled AWFUL. Like straight sewer. I went down to the front desk, myself and 2 other guests were waiting for over 15 minutes for the front desk employee to show up. She switched my room on the other side of the building, SAME AWFUL SMELL. I went down and asked her if there’s some kind of sewage issue and she said a couple other guests complained but she’s hoping it “just goes away”. I was tired and not trying to keep switching rooms so I sat in the horrible smell all night long. Near the toilet was the worst. Went to take a shower, the body wash was completely empty. I was so angry. Then this morning I had just checked out. Went to the car and dropped my belongings and realized I didn’t have my car keys and I left them in the room on the dresser. I ran back in and asked the front desk attendant if I could get back in my room to grab my key. She refused to let me back in without my ID which was allllll the way in the parking garage even though she just seen me check out. She could have even offered to just go in and grab the key for me but she made me walk back out to my car to get my ID. I’m just baffled that I spent almost $200 on a room to experience all of this. I am not the type to complain but this was a horrible experience and I will never go back to or recommend a Hilton hotel.

The major complaint I have was my husband informed the housekeeper in the hallway at 7:30am we would be leaving out for a few hours and we would like our room fresher up. We also informed the front desk person when we left. We returned at 4pm and the same dirty towels were on the floor and no fresh towels were left. Our bed linen was just covered up but not made. We reported it and then was told we should had called it in before 11:am. We were offer another room but we did have time to pack and move to a new room. We were given fresh towels.

Excellent Staff & Service!

The Hotel is a great place to stay with comfortable lake view rooms and a great restaurant on site. However my room had a clogged sink and safe that did not open. It did get repaired my backed up again soon. My main complaint is that the staff is not responsive to requests for room freshening and had to make multiple requests for towels etc. They never got it right even though I contacted cleaning staff and front desk as well. I have stayed here many times and will try again, but hope that service improves.

Had to wait past 3pm for check in! Very inconvenient. Parking was an issue. Garage needed a pass and the front desk was out of them. Had to pay every time we went in or out.

We usually have a great morning breskfeast but when we got there at 1000 am there were no plates and they gave us paper plates like a picknick! Also they were out of eggs and sassge which is why we go so I got our money back and ate at a great resteruant on the way home.

Everything was great except for the food was not the standard Hilton food; breakfast was mediocre rather than cooked to order like the way I am used to with going to Hilton's and is the number one reason I choose to stay at a Hilton because of the great breakfast I look forward to. Also checking in I was told I had to have a $250 deposit because I booked from a 3rd party (hotels.com) and I live locally which was a complete shock and caused a huge inconvenience for my family so next time we will have to choose a different hotel now that we know about this unfair, unnecessary, and unexpected deposit fee. It's too bad because my family loves Hilton hotels and this location is near our house but we will have to travel further now to avoid the extra charges and get a good Hilton breakfast.

The staff was very friendly. The property was clean. There is a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel. They have a nice breakfast for a fee.
