We were coming off a 13-hour car trip, and the thing I wanted more than anything was to use the whirlpool. I picked the hotel in part because was on the route and because it had the whirlpool and indoor pool. It was great!

This is our 3rd time staying here and we will be back! Fantastic breakfast! Huge selection of food that is constantly refreshed. Staff was cleaning each table as people finished eating. A great little pool area with hot tub and work out room. There is a beautiful path to walk along a large pond in back. They added a free popcorn machine in the lobby since our last stay. They even offered 6 different kinds of popcorn toppings! Free cookies and candy at the front desk. Free lemon water, coffee and tea. Elevator works great, not old and scary like some other hotels we have stayed at. Front desk personnel were fantastic, friendly and helpful! Easy, free spacious parking. There are plenty of food options right outside the door (Chipotle, Taco Bell, Pizza, Red Robin, Jimmy John's) or you are a short drive away to many, many more options. It's a quiet hotel. It's very near to many of the fun things to do, but just far enough away that is not busy and crowded. All 3 of the rooms we have stayed in have been clean and spacious. We love this hotel and would recommend to everyone!

Property and room was very clean and inviting. Our welcome upon arrival from Jaci was wonderful! She made us feel welcome and happy we chose this location. My only complaint would be that the fitness center did not have any heat working, which Jaci informed us of this at check in so we appreciated the update but disappointed. I’d still give a 5 star rating because it wasn’t that bad of a situation to drop the rating. Highly recommend this hotel!! Especially for cross country travelers like us!

It is a nice hotel but seems to be showing its age. the carpet in our room appeared discolored. otherwise place was clean. Service was satisfactory. it is close to the freeway and road noisy is noticeable but not overwhelming. the window shades are excellent and the night shade does a great job shutting out exterior lighting.

Overall the property was nice and welcoming however we were booked into a room that was not properly cleaned. There was pieces of food left on the floor from before, and pieces of orange or something left inside the ac unit and smeared on the unit itself. Besides our room being dirty the rest was desirable. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from and the pool was clean and open late to allow the adults some time to relax.

Where to begin? I had to enter the hotel thru a haze of smoke from numerous smokers at the front door. My room smelled overwhelmingly stale. I couldn't open the windows as they were screwed shut- fire hazard much? I specifically chose this hotel for the pool and adjacent patio, but was unable to enjoy due to the smokers. I thought it was a non smoking property but apparently not. The AC rattled noisily leaving me to choose between at least some ventilation or peaceful quiet. And last but not least, I was charged twice. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my bank as the hotel was wholly unhelpful. I do not recommend. TL:DR unclean, room smells bad, barely functioning AC, much smoke, much noise, and double charged

Great breakfast, nice pool area, quiet place. Met all our needs. The only downside was that someone had smoked in our bathroom. We assumed it would go away & didn't complain, but the smell was nasty our entire stay.

Rooms are generally spacious and comfortable, with some modern fixtures and pleasant pond views. Downsides include traffic or AC noise in certain rooms, occasional TV or Wi-Fi issues, and mixed opinions on bed comfort.

The booking and check-in process were incredibly easy. The room was spacious (suite), clean, and well laid out. The bed was a bit too stiff and pillows too soft/flat for my liking but these will always be subjective opinions. Hard to have a one size fits all in these areas. The breakfast was included and had standard offerings, some of which were great for a grab-and-go situation like bagels, yogurt, and fruit. What was also nice was the offerings around the area from chain restaurants to local eateries and coffee shops. The hotel was also very easy to get to, which can be good and bad. It’s right off the highway (good) so I was able to easily hear the traffic (not so good). The check-out process was as easy as check-in. Overall, worth recommending for short swings through the Monona or Madison area.

We were put in a room with a very noisy air conditioning unit right next to the bedroom. Difficult to get a good night of sleep. The ground of the shower place is at the same level as the rest of the bath room. There isn't any divider between the two parts of the bath room. Therefore, taking a shower just make the whole ground wet.

Charged our card another time after hotel.com had already took my card then refused to give us a room saying our card wasn’t working. We were looking for a room during a snow storm because we had a family member who had an accident and was at the Uw hospital in the trauma unit. When I explained the situation Lilianna told me and my daughter, “everybody goes through tough things mam, not just you.”

We have some concerns about security. There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk and we had a bad experience with our room assignment. When we checked in, we were assigned room 230. We went the room, unpacked and relaxed and then we went to dinner. When we came back, we were told that they didn’t realize that we were in that room and they had checked someone else into that room. That person had entered the room and realized that someone else was staying there and had gone back to the front desk. We had electronics, medication, etc. in the room and we’re upset that other people had access to our items. The clerk had deactivated our keys so she reissued keys to us and we assumed she had changed the info in the computer system. However the next night, someone from the hotel staff knocked on our door at approx. 9:45 and when I answered she apologized but said they didn’t realize anyone was in the room. Then approx. 15 minutes later, another employee knocked on the door, then used her key and tried to enter the room before I could get across the room to answer the door. She again stated that they didn’t know anyone was in the room. She asked for our name and said their computer system was “all screwed up”. I’m not sure what the problem was but we probably won’t stay here again.
