Overall friendly staff and property was clean. The exercise equipment is broken and has been that way since my visit in August, unless it was repaired and broken again. The property has excellent views and is central to everything. I would recommend this for a family and convenience of being close to the heart of everything, especially the lake!

Very clean. Staff were helpful. So conviently located to the beach, boat tour, shopping and dinning. Everything in walking distance. Both pools were small and fairly shallow. Needs breakfast included.

The website needs to be clear that you only are allowed 1 parking spot per room. Anything we asked staff at front desk we were told no, and the girls were not nice. The security was very helpful. My friend who drove separately had to park 3 blocks away, and there were spots in lot. I was disappointed. Also , we were told no late check out even if we paid. And again the customer service was a NO not a YES and….. next time we will stay elsewhere

I would give this hotel 5 stars except for the parking. We took the last available spot and I really wanted to drive around the area at night to see the Christmas lights but we were almost sure to lose our parking spot so we had to give up our plans. I really wish we could have done that. They should have enough parking for their guests.

We did enjoy our stay, the hotel rooms just felt old or not clean. Nothing was shockingly dirty, but it just felt musty. The bed wasn't the most comfortable either, but we did enjoy the location, because we never had to move our car and could walk every where. Great view of the lake off our balcony, and the common areas were nice as well. We grabbed ice cream and ate it in the lobby by the fire playing checkers.

We had a great stay here. The location is great, right downtown. The property was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms were big. It's worth it to pay extra to make sure you get a room with a balcony looking at the lake - the view is really nice.

Our room was clean but it was hard to watch TV as the sofa was on the same side if the room. Only one desk chair in room. If the TV and bed were reversed on the wall it would have been easy to watch TV comfortably.

The staff at this hotel were very nice. The first night we stayed was a nightmare. Because we paid for this booking 3rd party they probably gave us this horrible room. We overlooked the roof that was being worked on. The air units kept going on and off and was a disturbance. At 5 A.M. the garbage trucks were picking up their garbage and their backup "toots" were another disturbance. We complained to the manager (Ashley) who switched our room to room 208. We tried to get comfortable on the King bed and couldn't. Why? The mattress would move when the other person winked an eyelash. I told Ashley about this and she sent someone up to FIX the mattress. They should have switched the mattress from the 522 room that was very comfortable. It turned out we left a day earlier than expected..

The room was small, but we had an amazing view of the lake. We also had a nice balcony to relax on. The outdoor pool, and hot tub were very nice and clean as well. Shopping and Restaurants/ Bars were just a mile down the street. The only negative comment would be, that the King Size Bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows were not supportive. We woke up with some back and neck pain. We will stay at this hotel again regardless.

Location is great, however be aware that if you want a lake view room, which we did, half of the lake side rooms overlook a large and noisy roof. We didn't spend any time on our balcony like we hoped to because of this. The view of the lake behind the roof is very nice, but hard to enjoy with the noise from the utilities on the roof. Staff did what they needed to, but no more and we were not greeted or thanked coming or going. The only restaurant is Italian, and it's very good but having a restaurant offering more varied choices would be nice, especially breakfast. We walked next door to the neighboring hotel restaurant for several meals. Overall, the hotel is fine, but worn. I'm sure it's been very popular over the years because of the location, but our room, especially the bathroom, needed to be updated. We also suspect that our room had had dogs in it by previous guests. We aren't "dog people" and while we certainly support people loving and traveling with their pets, we should not have been able to tell that dogs had been in our room prior to us being there. We choose this hotel for location but we probably would not choose it again. This was our first time to the area. We will know better next time as the Lake Geneva area is lovely for a visit.

Front desk staff was amazing and helpful, both at check-in and when we went down for water from the little store (reasonable prices there, too). Room was fantastic, worth the money, convenient to downtown. Beautiful view of the lake. Love the guest expectations, very clearly laid out, and it made for a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful stay. Felt very safe and secure, all the premises was very beautifully decorated for the winter holidays.

Our room was ready, so we checked in early. We sat on the balcony for a while and looked out at the lake and then we put our suits on and walked out to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. Towels were at the front desk as we walked by. Check in staff were courteous and answered all our questions. I’ve stayed here before and I will definitely stay here again.

Harbor Shores has become my wife’s weekend getaway favorite. They have the friendliest staff to greet you as you come in the door and it is the cleanest hotel I have ever seen. The views and the location are top-notch. Our absolute favorite. Thank you.

Location is perfect. Lake Geneva is not a place to be using the car, everything is walking distance, so this hotel by the lake and main walking area was perfect for us. It was surprisingly quiet for the location, we have a 3 year old so that worked out pretty well. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room with a lake view. Easy walk to the tour boat of Geneva Lake. Nice to have a Gino’s East restaurant attached to the hotel. Keurig Coffe maker in the room with microwave and fridge. Very nice comfortable setting. Easy walk to other restaurants and shopping.

Stayed for 2 nights. Overall it was good! Pretty quiet and convenient parking. Super walkable to everything and outdoor pool is very nice. My kids enjoyed both pools and hot tubs. Great to have restaurant on site but do wish they delivered to the room.

Nice hotel, accommodated request for extra towels upon arrival. Pizza restaurant on premises. Shower curtain rod set too high (or shower curtain too short) because water gets all over the floor and it's a slipping hazard (I used extra towels to soak up the water)

Loved our large clean room. We had a fantastic view of Lake Geneva. We were within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The security guard, Ray, was so pleasant and helpful. Front desk staff as well as cleaning service staff were great. However, we did not enjoy our food at Gino’s East and thought atmosphere needed upgrading.
