This was my 3rd or 4th stay. Staff is always pleasant, and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. However, for at least the second time, the ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors weren't working for the first two days of my stay. They finally started working again mid-week. Not sure if someone complained, I didn't this time. Other than that minor inconvenience, everything was good.

Our Spring Break plans fell through, so we booked here solely for the pool and hot tub. Both were very disappointing. First day, we went to the pool area and found both outside doors open and large fans blowing. It was cold outside, so opened doors and fans made the area very cold. We still went into the pool and hot tub. Both were murky and smelled like something more than chlorine. We didn't stay long. Second day, attempted hot tub again and the smell was awful with debris floating. We went in the pool for a bit, but the chemical smell was too much and it just didn't seem clean. After long showers and washing hair, the smell in still in our hair. I have never experienced anything like this. Definitely put a huge damper on our getaway as this was all we were doing. Now both my daughter and I woke up not feeling well. I don't know what was in that pool, but it was right! Breakfast was very bland. Lots of options, but nothing tasted good. Free coffee 24/7 is a plus, but the coffee was not good. One positive and very important, the room seemed very clean. I'm glad housekeeping does a great job. We will never return and just very disappointed we spent money on something so lacking.

Pool was out of order, hotel clearly showing some wear and tear, little things like scratched up signs. Hotel was mid renovations which I wish they would reflect that on the website. Breakfast was not great. Coffee and juice cups ridiculously small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall wasn't awful but wasn't great either.

I believe it was Andrew at the front desk. Very nice and helping us get a room location we wanted. Pool( great temperature and chlorine level)and hot tub area was great. Breakfast fantastic. And so nice for a day away. When we stay at a Comfort Inn, It is exactly that a comfortable welcoming place to stay.

The manager told me they were short staffed. I understand the problems connected with that, but we had no housekeeping services (i.e. no opportunity for clean towels, no clean towels in the pool area). Nothing provided was above a 3 star rating. The worst: the hot tub was disgusting. I would not stay there again.

We love staying at this hotel. It’s the best in the area for us to use. We were, however, very disappointed this morning when we went downstairs to go swimming. I asked for a late check out then the front desk clerk, Lena, told us the pool was closed. At no point did the night desk clerk (unsure of name and was there on Wednesday April 17th, 2024) ever tell us that the pool wasn’t available for us. My 4 year old was very upset and ended up crying the entire way back to our room. At check out, Lena was very sweet and gave my child a candy bar since she felt bad for the situation. We look forward to our stays at this location and we absolutely love your pool. Maintenance happens and I understand. Just disappointed that the information wasn’t relayed at check in. I wouldn’t have amped up my child to go swimming and end up heartbroken.

Upon entering my room - a VERY MUSTY damp smell to the room. DE-humidifier running non stop - I had to dump out the water 4 times in my 2 day stay. NOT pleasant. The coffee pot in the room was disgusting to say the least - I did NOT use it! Dust accumulation on the tops of the head boards. Some things had been updated and some thing not. For the price I paid - it was disappointing - and I likely won't stay there again. Very friendly staff however!

Our room was on the second floor, but smelled like a moldy, wet basement. We paid quite a bit for this hotel and it was not cleaned to reflect the price. We asked staff to please clean the bathroom and we were still wiping up dirt stains on the floor and walls.

There was hair everywhere in the room. On the sheets, in the tub, on the floors… The toilet was filthy. We lifted the seat and it was literally splattered by someone before us. The pool and breakfast was fine but the experience was ruined because I was grossed out by the room.

They are remodeling so there is some messes around. However when I got into my room, two outlets did not work, one of which had something stuck in it. Overall the issue I had the most with my room was the heavy muskiness that hit you like a brick wall entering the room. Even kicking on the fan and a/c didn’t do much to help with it.

The hotel was close to what we were in town for, so vicinity was good for us. However, the beds are so uncomfortable and hard. They sound like a pull out couch frame with a mattress and feel like it. I asked for an updated room with better beds and the front desk did try to put us in another room but said beds were same. We had a 3 night stay, so we drove to the store and bought a 3” mattress pad that helped. The shower was not very clean when we got to our room and the shower doors would not stay closed so you showered with them open. For it being a “comfort” suites…it was not comfortable. Also, just an fyi the tv’s are not smart tv’s. I know this is just extra but with a longer stay it would have been nice to stream something when we were relaxing. Staff was nice but would not stay again or recommend. Hotel needs a lot of updates and needs to start with their cheap hard beds.

Nice stay. Clean, well maintained hotel. Room was comfortable and roomy - no complaints. Hot, tasty breakfast provided. Location was great. Delevan was a solid walk away, but very quaint. I think the room price was a little on the high side for the quality of the facility, but I guess that is because of its location and time of year/events happening locally.

Overall, nice hotel and i stay here almost every time I am in town. Only downside was the heater. It was very cold the week I was there, and I couldnt seem to get the heater to warm the room at the right level. Basically it was too hot no matter what temp I set it at and seemed to turn on and off every 5 minutes.

The clerk at reception was snippy when we asked about a bill/receipt, treated us as if we were idiots, and seemed a bit hostile to us. Other staff were fine. The bathroom had nowhere to hang wet towels, lacked a soap dish of any kind. I understand thee are reasons for such lacks, but towel racks can be attached to the wall, and their lack is annoying. Worst problem was super-thin walls--we could hear ever word from next door, including a 4:30 am phone call on speaker phone, of which we could hear both participants. Because of this, I would not stay here again.

Stayed 5/2025 for one night, First room that we had been given had a leak underneath the bathroom sink, went back to front desk, guy there seemed like he really didn’t like his job ( he also didn’t seem entirely surprised that I was asking for a different room), second room was given had a very weird smell (seemed like mix of smoke and bleach though is nonsmoking property so not entirely sure), didn’t feel like it would be safe for my young children to stay in that room, don’t think the front desk guy appreciated me back again, third room ended up being acceptable with no weird odors and everything for the most part functional. Overall whole property is old and dated and needs a lot of rehab (they did have a lot of construction materials outside right at the front entrance). The whole property has signs posted on various doors telling patrons the various ways they can be kicked out of the property for not abiding by the rules (I.e going out a prohibited door or having food in the pool area, etc.). Definitely did not get welcoming vibes between all the signs and the front desk. Would not recommend staying here.

I've stayed here several times in the past. Always friendly service, nice breakfast options in the morning, and convenient location to the town and nearby lakes.

One night stay while attending the Walworth County Fair. Easy 10 minute drive from the fairgrounds. Plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Near Lake Geneva as well. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good; waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits/gravy, cereal, oatmeal, pastries/bagels, apples, yogurt. Drinks included coffee, hot chocolate, apple/orange/cranberry juice, along with milk. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the pillows, but they were your typical down pillows that all hotels seems to use now. It was odd that the Keurig coffee maker was in the bathroom. Seemed like an odd choice but we were able to move it out in to the room near the microwave and small fridge. Overall, happy with our stay. Would stay there again if in the area.

Liked everything above. Didn't like the breakfast, coffee, or juices. Yogurt not really healthy. Better to have Greek yogurt.

This property is going through a renovation currently. The facility is clean, staff is friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable. Once the upgrades are complete the rooms will be topnotch! They need to get rid of the stickers on the floor and plexiglass barrier at check in. Coronavirus was here for 1000's of years before 2019 and the lab produced version since, is here to stay...it is what it is! Maybe it is a regional phobia that persists as several employees and patrons were wearing N95 masks within the facility. The continental breakfast is TERRIBLE! The juice is more water than juice ("cranberry juice" flowed from the dispensing machine into the cup as clear water), the skim milk was sour (also dispensed from a machine), the right side slots of the toaster didn't work, and the bagels were stale. Also Walmart yogurt is not the best look --spring for the Yoplait! Technically, they did offer continental breakfast!

Check in was simple, facility was clean despite some construction. The room was larger than expected and the tub we had was large enough for two people side by side. We found the bed to be a bit firm but comfortable. Staff was friendly. The Continental breakfast had some good variety, though overall the quality was about what you'd expect for a mid-range hotel. Well stocked and maintained by staff.

We have stayed in this motel several times. It seems to have gone downhill a bit, now more parsimonious. One of the reasons we picked this motel was the free breakfast. In past years it was fairly good. The last two stays it was not so good. The hot breakfast stuff was pretty bad this time. My kids said the sausages tasted strange, some chemical flavor, and instead of scrambled eggs they had these fake looking factory things that were white disks with some yellow dye in the center that was supposed to resemble egg yolk I guess, but I'm not sure any of it had ever seen the inside of a chicken. Microscopic bagels so small that if you try to toast them you can't fish them out of the bottom of the toaster. Cranberry juice that said "cranberry flavor and other ingredients", that looked scary. One of my kids just went for a bowl of cereal. The potatoes in the hot bin were rubbery things that just were not palatable. I guess they thought they would save money by using old potatoes, fake eggs, micro bagels, and chemical tasting sausages of dubious contents, but since I don't think the free breakfast will ever be a deciding point in the future, they have probably lost a repeat customer.

Most importantly, our room was clean and it didn’t have any strange, funky smells. The beds were very comfortable. We liked that the breakfast went until 10 AM and a wide variety of options were available, both hot and cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are snacks and drinks available for purchase as well as an all day coffee station and lemon water dispenser. The indoor pool was a comfortable temperature and the hot tub was clean and working. Sound carries very easily through the walls, so we could hear our neighbors, but the hotel has a strict quiet hours policy, so we weren’t really bothered by the noise other than some noisy kids running through the hallways at 7 AM when quiet hours were over.

I dont understand why we're charged $225 a night? We stayed 2 nights for $440. 2 ppl. Hotel was okay. But We paid less for Hilton in San Francisco. This place is good for $80 to $100 a night. Room smelled like lysol. The breakfast was free, but toaster was not working, coffee very weak. Won't be back. Sorry. In general you get what you pay for is not applying here.

Handicap Review. One in our party requires a wheelchair to move around. We stayed in an "accessible" room. The room was big. But the bathroom was difficult. The bench for the tub was hidden under the sink. The tub sides were low so it was easier to swing legs over but very far distance to sit down. There were a lot of grab bars. Little store did not carry any type of protein snack.

It was an average budget hotel. The suite was very large. Mostly everything was clean. Whirlpool and shower could have had more care taken. Breakfast was ok.
