Wonderful quiet location on the Yakima River. Can’t beat that view! A walking/biking/running trail follows the river and is a great “amenity” in that area! Pool and hot tub were very nice. It’s tough to find an outdoor pool these days so that was a major attraction for me. Only one close by sit down restaurant- a Mexican one next door. It was fantastic and bigger than it looks so no problem getting in on a Friday night.

Well, it took 20 minutes to get checked in. The receptionist was having problems with her computer. 2 people in front of me. 2nd receptionist showed up and she ws very efficient and checked in quickly. Elevator is broken and we were on the 4th floor, with luggage and golf bags in tow! We arrived on Sunday, its Tuesday and its still not fixed! The room and property are very clean nice. Breakfast was good and hot coffee.

We did appreciate the balcony overlooking the river and the hot tub soak to soothe our tired legs from walking all over the Olympic National Park and the Mt. Rainier forest walk to Silver Falls. Yakima was a great stop on our way home. The bed was super comfortable, and there was only a little stomping noise from the room above us (we were on the third floor). The handicapped accessible room (not needed or requested) had a showerhead a little low to use, but the rest of the room was laid out nicely for us. The complimentary breakfast was good, with hot choices like waffles, eggs and sausage gravy/bisquits. A bonus for us was that the EV charging stations were on site.

Front staff was friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing for the price point. The floors were sticky and built up grime along the edges was off putting. Overall cleanliness could be better. Neighbors above us walking around loudly late into the night and a dog barking for extended periods of time. Was hoping for a bit more quiet environment.

The walls were paper thin. The hairdryer didn't work and they could not provide a replacement. The hallways smelled bad. The bed and pillows were comfortable! It served its purpose for one night but I wouldn't want to stay longer!

Room had the worse smell and smelled like poop in the room that seem to be coming from the bathroom toilet or the shower. We came in very late and was very tired so we just sprayed perfume to be able to stand the smell and went to sleep right away. The next day we told the staff that the room had a terrible smell they said oh no, that’s not good. What room is it and said I’ll put in a maintenance request and that was it

Refrigerator didn’t work properly and the floors left your feet black if barefoot. Only complaints we have. We have dogs and got the same room we had last time. Complained about the rooms floors last stay, but nothing changed. Love the rates and location though, and will stay there again. But, we WILL bring a swifter mop and cooler next time.😂😂

Mexican restaurant next door was great. Proximity to freeway was good. Hotel is run down, dirty, unpleasant staff. Refused an extra towel. When staff was notified of unclean room conditions no attempt was made to remedy it whether a new room or for someone to come clean it. There was sticky juice on bedside table, hair in bathtub and smeared something on the bathroom wall. Pure gross. Bed was clean and comfortable and room was quiet. Adequate if you’re driving through and have no other choice. Cannot comment on the pool as I would not trust it given the room conditions. The continental breakfast has expired dairy products unsafe to eat. The room had a balcony overlooking a river. Hope the hotel gets its act together for future guests.

The room was clean and decent looking, the room had a river view so that was nice too, although the walls felt paper thin because we heard people talking and laughing outside our room, and the people in the room above us arguing and stomping their feet, so that was annoying. The AC worked great but we had to turn it on in order to drown out the noise of the people that randomly talked out in the hallway outside our room and people in the rooms next to us. The pool and hot tub were outside and nice, although we had to pull the tarp covering it off the hot tub and to press a button to use it. The morning breakfast was lack luster, there was barely anything to eat, the coffee was meh, and we overheard people talk about how the eggs looked undercooked, so we decided to leave for a restaurant. Overall, not a bad location to stay, the parking was nice, the staff was decent, and it was an alright stay if you can get over the possibility noise of others in the hall and the lackluster breakfast.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed, nice staff. The only negative is room to move in the room. You can bring in the luggage cart but won’t have anywhere to put your bags or even unload. There’s just an overall lack of space. My luggage was shoved under the air con because there was nowhere else to put it unless I slept with it. Bathroom light and sink are outside of the bathroom by the front door, microwave is under the sink… just a lack of design and space. The bathroom is so tiny you have to maneuver just to close the door for privacy. It’s just too poorly designed for comfort to stay here twice.

Excellent WiFi. Only downside was that when doors were slammed on floor below the foot of my bed jumped. (Framing issue?) Also loud hallway noises, (doors, talking, kids) Needs better soundproofing.

This is a cool hotel. All the rooms face the Yakima river and the river walk. I enjoyed walking the river walk and listening the the river flowing. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The person above us sounded like they were stomping at 5 am. I'm not sure if it was the hotel insulation or the way they were walking. We called the front desk and asked for them to let them know they were being loud but it went on until they left at 6:30.

Only problem was that I had my friend that was with me had to leave at 2 am as we both got to the parking lot and I returned to the front door it was locked with a sign saying we will return shortly. 25 minutes later the guy walked by the door and I knocked he walked past me and then came back to unlock the door. I had no way to reentry to the building and was locked out.

Well the checking in was great the room was great the daytime and evening staff were helpful, the Saturday morning man named Tony was a total ass, he yelled at guest and was disrespectful to most people who arrived a few minutes early for coffee, his behavior needs to be addressed!!

We arrived at the hotel about 3:45 PM. The young lady behind the counter asked if we had reservations we answered yes with no response for here. Typically people have difficulty spelling our last name so I emphasized the last name starts with. ‘K’. I her typical Kurt voice she said I have it. At some point she asked for my e-mail address. I don’t like giving out my e-mail or phone number if it’s not necessary so I asked why she needed it. She said so she can send me and the booking company a number of some type. It didn’t make sense to me so I said “I really don’t want to give you my e-mail address”. She became defensive and said “she doesn’t see the problem and other people give her their e-mail address”. I responded by saying, “I’m not other people and I don’t want to give out my e-mail address”. She said, “You’re being rude and I’m not going take that”. I said again, “I don’t want to give out my e-mail address”. She said, “You were rude to me and I won’t deal with you. You can talk to the other desk clerk”. I moved over to the other clerk and told her I don’t want to give out you e-mail address and I haven’t heard a good reason why I should”. The other clerk politely said, “That will be fine sir”. We then waited to complete our check-in, but our original clerk ignored us. The polite asked the original if she gave us our room key, she said “no he was rude to me and I won’t deal with him”. The polite clerk said, “you can’t do that”, and she gave us our key.

A definite sigh of relief after a long day. The hotel scene in general is too expensive these days, mostly over-priced, lacking cleanliness, poor attitudes of the hotel's staff (if they primarily even speak English)....However, this hotel proved to worthy of the Wyndham name. Good value for the price. Excellent hotel staff, all the amenities you could think of; a pretty good breakfast selection. In addition, the room was comfortable and nice and clean, premium channels and good furniture. This establishment was a pleasure to be at. Thank you Baymont Wyndham in Yakima!

In my 30 years of traveling around the country and many places outside US, I do not remember being rudely treated the way this woman receptionist did in this hotel during check in. I checked in June 20 4:30 pm and was informed that none of the suite room I reserved was available although check in time is 3:00 pm. Became worst when I told them that I have 2 service dogs with me. That’s when they told me that they have no availability of the king room suite I reserved. I asked what was available and settled for a queen suite. But the woman receptionist did not stop berating me that it was all my fault that this happened. She assumed right away that my dogs are emotional support dogs and are not true service dogs. And this hotel claims to be dog friendly?? She continued to lecture me about handling dogs in hotels in front of a long queue of customers waiting to be checked in. It was so obvious that this front desk woman never went through customer service training. It was either this or it was all because of the color of my skin.

They falsley accused us of smoking in the room and refused to refund our security deposit. I spoke with the manager who was extremely rude and she would not budge. I even offered to take a lie detector test, but she refused that too. She refused to give me the name of someone higher than her that I could speak with. I had no other recourse but to file a report with the Better Business Bureau and the WA state attorney generals office.

Honestly this is one of the best locations around and it’s pretty slept on . Can’t beat the river views and greenway access. Multiple food options within a walkable distance, and a Walmart across the street.

I like the service and that the hotel is on the river and all rooms face the river. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great. I needed to walk to/from the convention center a couple times and crossing Yakima Ave is very difficult and dangerous. It is a busy road with freeway ramps nearby. There is no traffic light nearby.

It is very nice being on the river and that it allows pets on the first floor. However, at night the homeless roam the Greenway Trail and around the hotel making it unsafe at night. Any possibility of leaving your the Sliding Glass door open during the day, or night to hear the river is out of the question.

The A/C unit was not quiet. Check-in was slow. Breakfast didn't fill items because only one person was attending to the breakfast and also the front desk, so most breakfast items were not available. The room and the property were good, really good shower and the Yakima River was a good view.

Older fixtures- bathroom fan did not work well. Water would pool on light fixture and then drip on me or the floor. Worst breakfast bar ever— no plates, stale breads, horrible coffee.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. We have 6 kids. We got two rooms. The property was clean and up to date. Dove travel size soap, conditioner and shampoo?! We felt spoiled. Ha ha. The breakfast was amazing.

The positive-the bed was comfy and a beautiful view of the river. We were on the third floor and wow I have never heard such a noisy ice maker! It echoed thru the entire floor The bathroom was a closet and claustrophobic. Breakfast was not good. All microwaved food. We will not return
