Last minute booking since rain killed our family camping trip. Needed something affordable and for the price it was great for us! A little dated and no frills, but the pool was great and staff was very attentive and helpful! Homeless population nearby is a little disconcerting but overall we felt safe.

Upon checking in we asked about the laundry. The lady told us we cannot use the laundry until 10 am the next day. We desperately needed to use the laundry due to multiple kiddos and all, and we needed to check out 9 am the next day. We had to charge our future plans due to laundry issue, only to find out upon checking out that washer/dryer has been there available to use all this time. So there you have it, awful customer service. Not to mention the bad smell everywhere. Will never return.

The property was clean but there was no parking available. Found one spot behind the building with no access to the inside of the building. Required walking around the entire building. Did not feel safe walking outside to my car, as there were people fighting outside near my car. It definitely appeared to be illegal activity causing the hours long screaming.

Couple of things I wish I'd known before booking. There appears to be many people who live in this motel who seem kind of fallen on hard times. When I drove by the first time there were about 15 people hanging out front at the next property. Not sure if they were homeless, but this continued down the road for about a mile - but they looked like scavengers so I was apprehensive about my vehicle overnight. However, the girl at checkin was nice, as was any staff member I spoke to. There's onsite (pay) laundry machines, but they were out of order. The ice machine in the hallway was excellent. Parking was fine. My room looked nice. The bed IS really high. If you're smaller you will need to hop or climb onto it. Nice tv, lots of channels. The included breakfast is the standard at most hotels/motels these days and I find it very, very good. Good selection of food to make. Excellent waffle makers (two different ones). Only weird thing was the floor towel in my bathroom, which hangs on the tub - when I went in to have a shower - it was soaked. Like, totally soaked through and I don't know how that's possible. Weird. It's the neighbourhood that made me apprehensive. You will not want to go for a walk around here. The $ was good, and I did have a good sleep and good breakfast so that's the most important thing.

Close to freeway, Very clean. Friendly , helpful staff. Air conditioning was good and fairly quiet. Breakfast was better than some places but really Only fair. 2 kinds of Waffle makers, cereal, scrambled eggs yogurt bagels and toast. There is a coffee/breakfast restaurant next door that was highly recommend but I didn't go to it. Only bad thing was no elevator.

Our room was disgusting. Bathroom smelled like urine, there was semen on the bathroom wall. When we pulled back the bedspread there was a large blood stain on the blanket that had been washed but not well. There is no way housekeeping staff could have missed it, about the size of my hand and in the center of the blanket. Clearly the staff saw it but decided to put it on the bed anyways. When I called the front desk for a replacement, they told me that they did not have any more blankets. I will never stay at this hotel again. Absolutely disgusting.

The entire hotel smelled like old pee. Nothing seemed clean. The staff was incredibly unfriendly. There was a large sticky spot on the carpet in the room and several small stains on the bed sheets. Would not stay here again.

There was long dark hair in the shower upon arrival, the bed was extremely hard, the room was hot and the air wouldn’t come on for more than a minute or two and then shut off. The breakfast eggs were not good and the breads were dry. All fixable items

Our room stunk so bad. We asked to change our room but were denied. We had to sleep with air on to ventilate the room and that made it really cold for us. It smelled like pee and smoke. We stayed for two days and we never got new towels or our room cleaned. The toilette had feces around the rim from previous guest. Wasn’t worth the “bargain.”

Although the staff was nice and helpful, I booked a different hotel on my way back. I'd rate the room as "tolerable" and overall it wasn't a pleasant experience. The clerk who checked me in was great! I'm grateful she asked if I was able to walk up stairs or if I needed a room on the first floor, because I wouldn't have been able to walk up the stairs. The motel is located on a busy street and across from a gas station. When I checked in, there was a group of men standing around and I thought they were day laborers, but after dark there were a couple more groups of men loitering. I decided to order delivery for dinner rather than risk having to park on the street when I got back, because it didn't feel safe. The room was a lot smaller and dingier than I expected from the photos - the walls and the headboard had stains on them. The A/C was off when I arrived so the room was hot, and it smelled strange. The smell never went away.

Good: The suite room we reserved was spacious and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. The breakfast had hot and cold food options. Not so good: Our room was on the roadside and was fairly noisy. The room was a little worn but still comfortable. A good amount of homeless and police activity nearby.

We rented a king suite and the room looked great, updated, spacious, clean. The only thing that wasn’t great was the mattress and pillows. The mattress on the king bed was so hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were just really frumpy. I just expected more comfort from the look and feel of the over all room.

Large, comfortable, clean room with all we needed for a pleasant stay. We are elderly and there is no elevator but we got a ground floor room by phoning early on the day of check in day to request one. Breakfast ends at 9 am but is about as good as it gets for a free motel breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausages plus cold options.

I have stayed at other Days Inn hotels in other cities. This one, in Yakima, far exceeded my expectations based on past experiences (which weren't bad, but not as great as this location). I arrived to check in shortly after 3 PM. The room was not quite ready for occupancy but I explained that as soon as I was checked in I had to head over to the Convention Center for several hours. The desk clerk was extremely pleasant and most accommodating. When I returned several hours later I found the room to be in perfect order and even smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning had an excellent variety and was fresh and hot. The dining area was spotless. Check out was quick and easy and, again, the gentleman who checked me out was friendly and efficient. I couldn't be more pleased with this stay and the next time I have a reason to spend the night in Yakima, this is where I'll go.

My wife and I were harassed multiple times a day by Hailey. We never seen pictures or a report about the items we are being charged for. Just told our money was being taken. One of our children is disabled and the other is an injured toddler who got sick suddenly after the severe injury. When we explained everything the only response we got was “yea I hear you” and we asked to speak to the manager we were told we’d have to wait 72 hours for a Response. This was a terrible experience form a hotel chain I have recently been using often. Our room also had items still in it from our previous stay when we returned a couple days later and the room was said to have been cleaned. I don’t know if we will continue using this chains hotels

Clean and easy to get to. Fast checkin. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. Very pleasant and cheerful. She is a gem in the rough. You don’t find this kind of service everyday.

The area isn't the greatest as there are many homeless people wandering around, but we did not have any problems with them. The beds are comfortable and rooms are decent. The breakfast is wonderful with many hot items, cereal and breads, plus coffee. Will stay here again.

We are smokers and it was a long walk to leave our room and go down to the outside door to our car. Even though the parking lot was well lit the neighborhood made us a little uneasy after dark. It was a nice stay though. Thank you M. Lane

The hotel is old & in a sketchy neighborhood. Homeless wandering around the parking lot & area. Surprised every morning yo see my car still there & not broken into. The continental breakfast was meager with no protein. Beds were comfy though and the AC in the room was good.

We went down to breakfast at 6:30 and it starts at 6 had to ask for coffee and the hot breakfast stuff was also not replaced. Rate the breakfast a 2 out of 10 for when we stayed. Hopefully it was a one off😡

Very good breakfast, large and comfortable room. Had an issue with an employee during check-in but when i spoke with the manager the next day, she took my concern seriously, was not defensive at all, and agreed to work with the employee to avoid similar problems going forward.
