Good location for waterside views. Public areas in need of refreshing. Swimming pool was inadequately heated (cold) and jacuzzi was not working. Male showers near pool were also out of service.

Nice hotel, bummed that the jacuzzi was closed especially since I called before booking that day to ask if they had a pool and if it was running they could have mentioned that the hot tub was down. There were multiple hairs in the shower too. Other than that everything else was great and the staff were really nice

The staff was amazing.. From the front desk, the buffet breakfast staff, and even the maintenance man. The hotel hallway carpet on the 3rd floor was filthy. I understand it’s under renovation but the treadmill malfunctioned and the elliptical wouldn’t even come on.

Staff was great. Pool was freezing and hot tub wasn’t very warm. Not sure if they’re remodeling but it looked like it. Mouse poop in the hall on the way to the pool. No towels at the pool.

The property is fulling UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They should definately lower their prices while this very deep intense construction is going on. No ice machines, falling ceiling tiles along hallway. Pool was very nice but did not open until 5:00 pm Beach area was very nice, but seriously not maintained by hotel.

The air conditioner in our room was not controllable. IT was either on at 65 or not at all. You could turn the temp up but it seemed every time we did it got colder. The fireplace in the room was non functioning. There were no screens on the patio doors so we could not leave those open to cool off the room without letting in all the bugs. The pool was broke down as well which we found out after the long walk to the pool area. The sign on the door said under maintenance. Several hours later we asked the reception instead of going down the to the basement and all the way down 2 long hallways where the pool was. At that time we were told the pool was closed until the following week. Signs in the elevator would have been nice.

The location was really nice with the water views, but they were understaffed and we waited for 20 mins to check in. The carpets were so dirty and smelly. We weren't comfortable walking around in our bare feet. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the shower almost made up for the nasty carpet.

The filthiest carpets I have ever seen in a supposedly nice hotel, stains on the box spring, the balcony floor was sinking in the middle, the pool was dirty and gross, and the hot tun was taped off and empty, the floors by the pool were so ugly and stained and it is a scary walk down to the dungeon to get to the pool, so weird... I wish I could have got a refund as it was just so bad...

while the staff was lovely, the facilities are in serious need of a remodel. The carpets in the hall and the room are so dirty and stained that they give off a strong, stale odor. The overall state of the building is pretty run down, but the smell is what made me wish I hadn’t booked a room there.

Unfortunately we stayed when major construction was going on. I did understand certain part but entire hall way was torn down and smell of paint were strong. In addition inside of room felt like you are sleeping in middle of moving house. Dust on the carpet, sticky furniture. And the bathroom shower wall had chunky of hair all over. I understand they’re going through renovation but we didn’t feel safe there. I believe it will be very nice hotel after renovation but during my stay it was Best Western minus. Arrived to a nice location and decent exterior and hotel grounds. Check in went fine and staff were pleasant enough. The interior of the hotel hallways was pretty bad though and smelled badly of urine. The room itself was not so bad that we decided to leave and stay elsewhere, but the room was very worn down and there was some type of black mildew or mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Sink and shower drains both backed up with water use.

The hotel was dirty. The smell hit you like a brick wall when you walked into the lobby. Went to our floor (3) and the carpet was disgusting. Stains everywhere. Bad impression. I had higher expectations because a friend said she stayed there. I will NOT be staying there again. It’s old. Old is fine, but it’s filthy. You need to clean it up.

The bed was extremely comfortable. However, the hallway carpets were stained and dirty, the body wash and other dispensers in our room were empty, the closet door un our room was broken and just leaning against the wall, and the pool was closed because the bottom floor had flooded (you could hear water running and dripping while using the elevator). The buffet was fine and the workers helpful.

We switched rooms which wasn’t a huge deal - the bed wasn’t made and I wanted to be sure it was cleaned properly. We payed almost $200 so I don’t think it was much to ask for. Either way the girl at the front desk was super friendly and quick to just change our room for the night. The hallways leading to the rooms were pretty dirty - the floor especially was absolutely disgusting. The hotel itself could probably use a pretty deep clean all together. Overall I don’t think it was worth the money we spent because found many other hotels cheaper and cleaner entirely. Aside from that the staff was great!

We booked at this hotel to attend a wedding in the area. There were many large stains down the entire hallway on our floor- thankfully no carpet stains in the room. The re-fillable body wash was hanging open in the bathroom and had not been refilled. We also paid extra for a room with the water view/balcony but were bummed that there were not any chairs or anything to be able to sit out and enjoy it, and there was no screen on the door for us to be able to leave it open without a bunch of bugs coming in. The continental breakfast was great with a lot of variety of food, a lot of seating, and a nice dining area with a great view. Front desk staff were friendly.

This was the ugliest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in — it was dark, arranged stupidly and with a broken balcony door. We asked for chairs for the balcony so that we could view the water but after an hour and two requests, none came. The soap dispenser by the sink had no soap. There were dead bushes in planters on the patio.I would say that the place is poorly managed. The ongoing construction makes the place look awful and smell like wet paint. The breakfast was decent and the bed was comfortable, though.

Staff was amazing and exceptionally nice. King room with view was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. We weren't able to enjoy the breakfast, but did peak in to see what was served. It looked really good and a wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Our room seemed as though it was still being worked on. All of the towel racks were removed from the walls in the bathroom which left us with 1 hook on the door to use and a bunch of big holes in the walls. The air return filter above the bathroom sink area was caked with dirt. Lastly, one of the mornings we had no hot water. Overall though, I would most likely stay here again for convenience and cost. I'm sure after the renovations it will be even better... And cleaner.

Booked a corner room, with fireplace, jetted tub and balcony. Due to renovations, fireplace didn't work and the hotel swimming pool was closed. The jetted tub needed repairing and the room safe needed me batteries. The shower nozzle didn't cleaning and overall value for money was simply not there. The entire 3rd floor was being worked on and the hallway had sheet rock dust on the carpets, other parts of the carpet in the hallway had been ripped up, the walls had sections exposing insulation. The breakfast was nothing special. The staff were friendly and attentive but the experience was not worth it at all.

Check in was smooth. Staff was amiable & pleasent. I was given a "water view" room I requested. Room was cold, could not manage the thermostat, we just turned off the appliance. "Water view" was the top of the covered pool space. Not ideal. Returned late evening to find no hot water, I figured it was due to some late night showers, didn't report to ft. Desk. A small dog across the hall was yapping for a long time, again no report to management. We slept in, then found no hot water at all for morning showers. Overall, a property under under construction upgrades. Very dated, overnight desk employee was extremely busy, condition of property does not justify the price. Not up to standards.

The front desk staff here and the manager could not have been better. We had an issue that the front desk staff and manager took care of and could not have been better about. We travel a lot and the staff here is among the best we have encountered. Best Westerns have always been one of the most underrated hotel chains. This BW Plus is a great pick in the area.

The property was currently under construction and understaffed, but that didnt stop the staff from being completely professional. Delia, the gal with the sunflower tattoo on her hand, the cleaning young lady who was cleaning on my floor that day and the next. The young lady closing the lounge at night were all amazing.

I asked several times for more blankets, towels and kleenex. I was told by the same person more than once they would bring it to our room and they never did. My kids both had a cold and it would have been nice to help are for them but instead I ended up going out and purchasing the things that should have been provided.

Nice hotel, but their front desk staff member on the day we checked in was rude. No one was at the front, but a sign that read something like “we’ll be back soon.” When she finally showed up about ten minutes later, she said was taking care of a bathroom issue. No “I’m sorry.” By this time, a long line of customers were already waiting to check in. Her mannerisms were short. Then at about 11:45pm, their fire alarm went off. We went down to their lobby - it was cold, wet, & windy outside that night. It took maybe ten minutes for the firefighters to arrive. Maybe five minutes later, we were given the approval to go back to our rooms. I tried going back to sleep, but couldn’t. I had a crappy day the following day. The free breakfast was nice. The staff there were super nice and friendly! Cheery, in fact! I adore the two older ladies who looked after restaurant and made sure the tables were clean and the food abundant.

Beautiful views and very clean areas and rooms. Some staff was ok but most seemed a little unhelpful. It would have been nice to have a little more property info at the desk or in rooms. Like online it said the restaurant was closed but when I asked front desk they said it was open but didn’t offer a menu. He just told me they had menus inside. Which is not helpful if you want to order a take out order from your room. Tv channels are very limited and there was no in room instructions on rentals which it said was offered. One place said there were dvd players in room,and found out much to my disappointment AFTER Redboxing a couple movies, that that was not a provided service. And I know it was July 4th but I was a little disappointed that management allowed people to set off very large messy fireworks until midnight in a very dry grassy area. Not smart and super disruptive. Overall nice with a few fixable options.

This was a pleasant surprise. We needed a pet friendly hotel and were thrilled to discover that this Best Western had a great location (proximity to freeway and good dining options), access to the beach and views of the bay. The facility itself was outdated and “worn,” but the view made up for it. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Our stay at the Best Western in Silverdale was wonderful! It's an older hotel, but they're in the process of remodeling. The location can't be beat! Right on the beach. It has a welcoming patio area with a fire pit and plenty of tables and chairs. The restaurant served tasty reasonably priced food and the staff, both in the restaurant and the rest of the hotel went out of their way to see that we had everything we wanted. If you can look past the older stained carpet in the hallway you can have a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable! I highly recommend staying here! It's good for the budget and the soul.

They were doing some renovations. Was not a problem. Was sorry the Jacuzzi was not working for the week plus I was there. Gladly the pool was very clean and cool. Staff was wonderful. They were very helpful and looked after our needs. I really loved the breakfast every morning, staff there were helpful and kind. I really loved my stay at this hotel.

The restaurant in the hotel is just OK but there are a lot of other dining options in the area that make it very convenient. The grocery store is right next-door as well. There is a Safeway. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Serve pot cookies every night, and the coffee was always filled. I have stayed here many times before and will stay here again in the future.
