Its a fine hotel for an overnight or a weekend if youre stopping through. Older place low ceilings not great ventalation no elevator (only 3 floors). Staff was good and friendly and the pool and hot tub were working and clean.

Went there to pick apples and soak in the hot tub apples were already picked and boxed the hot tub never happened because it was broken and drained looks like they have no interest in fixing the hot tub or there would have been water in it!!!!! PS looks like it has been broken for quite a while in all of our traveling I have never seen a hot tub down for that long. Disappointed in Surestay Hotel are you sure this is a Best Western Hotel?????

We Like the staff. We have stayed there before, and have been treated very well. Breakfast was pretty good, but needs more protein options for a balanced breakfast. The hotel needs more of a face lift. Also, hot tubs are important for some people and is the reason why we chooses the hotel so they need to be working if they have one on site. This one was waiting for a new motor to come in so it was out of order.

Clean and quiet. Pool and breakfast were great. No elevator, which is inconvenient for a three story building, but since we are not mobility impaired, it was not a dealbreaker for our family. No pitcher of water, or water available, at breakfast, which was a little unusual. Convenient location. Great value in comparison with hotels with similar amenities nearby.

Best Western is a respected name and this place did not disappoint. The room was very clean. The bathroom could have used the toothbrush treatment but not many people, other than myself, clean with a toothbrush in one hand to get the corners and other hard to reach places. The bed was comfy. The staff was wonderful. I would stay here again.

Our suite was spacious & nice. We have only two issues, #1: you need to add an additional tv for the seating area. Having only one small tv in the bedroom, makes it very difficult to relax in the living area and see or hear the tv. #2: Your clean staff needs to do a better job of cleaning the bathtub drains. Our drain was so clogged up that I had to unscrew the plug and dog out s baseball sized clog of hair. Quite disgusting!😖

The room had a chemical smell, there was a large stain on the chair. room just felt dirty, so we checked out and went to another hotel. The front desk lady couldn't have been nicer, especially under the circumstances.

Old decor. Didn’t feel clean. Found a sewing needle in my bed that poked me. Expedia charges were way more than if I would have called the place myself. Expedias rating is totally off. Guess you don’t want the truth!!!!

The floors in our room were not clean, and the chair looked to have some sort of food residue on it. The bathroom toilet and bathroom area did not smell good. It smelled as if it had only cleaned with toilet bowl water, and there was a strong urinal smell. I picked up the food crumbs/ debris off the floor (in multiple locations) with our baby wipes and wiped the chair down myself. I didn't say anything to hotel because it was the only double queen room left that I could find. The bed was comfortable but the blankets were very thin and everyone got a little chilly. The saving grace was the pool and breakfast and the extra strong coffee in the lobby.

I travel a lot and am usually wary of budget hotels, but the SureStay exceeded my expectations. While plain, the lobby and the room was very clean and comfortable (none of the weird smells you get a lot in other budget stays). The staff was also very friendly. Recommended if you just want a basic, clean room and don't want to spend 30-50% more for the somewhat fancier hotels just down the street.

It's Ellensburg. It is windy a LOT in Ellensburg. They have Direct TV and the TV was really choppy because it was losing and regaining the signal every 3-5 seconds. It is really hard to watch the Olympics and missing every few seconds. The guy at the desk said it was because of Direct TV. If it is a dish moving around, nail it down.

The room was comfortable, shower was good. Everything required was there - coffee machine, fridge, microwave, towels etc. Odd thing is that the ground floor rooms are built partly into the ground so the window is almost at bumper level with the vehicles parked outside - interesting and different view of the world! Breakfast was minimal but ok. Only downside was that the people staying in the next room kept their TV switched on loud until at least 3am which made sleep difficult until then. Not the motels fault, just an observation.

It is a value motel that is reasonably kept up with minimal updates. Staff were friendly. The AC in the unit worked but was noisy. The room was otherwise quiet. The lighting in the halls and room are bright, cold light. The bed was decently comfortable. Water pressure and temp was good. There was room in our room for our mountain bikes which was appreciated and surfaces to lay our things on. The breakfast had the hotel basics (plain bagels, biscuits, waffle machine, oatmeal, yoplait, apples, oranges, hard boiled eggs, Cheerios, a juice machine, and coffee and tea). The pool and hot tub were open. Overall, a good value.

Stay was good. We stayed in a suite but i think you need to get rid of the window that overlooks the pool. It's just strange. Comfort and amenities were good. Your cook for the complimentary breakfast was very kind amd friendly with all the guests.

The manager refused my disabled wife a handicap room. She also claimed we didn't have a service dog which we did. She said all AFA rooms are not dog friendly. We are reporting her to the proper authorities.

My initial check in was less than impressive, front desk person was less than helpful. No Information given about breakfast, pool, laundry, parking, check out time, access points or Wi-Fi. Seemed annoyed to be doing her job. Next two front desk people were very pleasant and helpful. Pool B , indoor. Breakfast, C- only biscuits and gravy, waffles and cereal, we walked 5 minutes to McDonald's one morning and beat that with Circle K the next day. Laundry facilities B , Room B- Hotel is dated, no elevator, TV small, beds pretty firm and bouncy but was clean and refreshed without asking after our first night. Comparing with friends at other nearby hotels for youth sports tournaments this is not as nice as the Holiday inn but nicer than the apparently recently purchased Red Lion. Would stay again in a pinch.

Pros: good location with food options nearby, simple breakfast with waffles & biscuits and gravy & easy parking. Cons: first room smelled like cigarette smoke (they got us a different room), they treat people who book on Expedia poorly, front desk gal was rude, teeth picker from someone else found in the room. No elevator and place could use some updating. There were very limited options for places to stay due to a busy weekend and booking last minute, but we will not stay here again.

On the positive side, the staff was very professional and friendly, especially Isaiah and Lisa. I enjoyed talking with them. The orange juice at breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. The TV programming was pretty good. On the negative side, the room I was initially given had too much highway noise, so I had to spend a good deal of time with the desk agent up and down the stairs (no elevator) to find a quieter room. It turned out that all the single rooms were on the noisy side of the hotel, so I had to take a double room on the quiet side, although the agent was very professional and did not raise the rate. The heater was also noisy and had no thermostat to automatically turn off when it was warm enough. I always had to turn it off manually. The beds weren't as firm as I had hoped, and I had to call for more blankets because they were too thin. I had to call the front desk three times over three days to get service on my bathroom light, which started flickering at first, then went out the next day. The hot and cold settings on the bathroom faucet were reversed from normal (normal is hot on the left, cold on the right). Very annoying! And the faucet was too close to the edge of the basin and hard to pull up. Also, the towels were too rough! The pool and hot tub were broken when I was there. If I had remembered to bring my bathing suit, I would have been pretty annoyed. In short, you need to upgrade the features of this hotel!!

Second time I've stayed here. The property is fairly quiet given the location. The front desk person was very friendly and efficient. The room is comfortable and clean. It would be nice if there was a personal coffee maker in the room, but that's a minor quibble. I'll be back!

Upon arriving at this location I was informed that because I live within 30 miles of this location, that the wouldn’t rent a room to me. I explained that work was being done to my house and that is why I booked the room, and still they refused. When I asked why I have never had that issue with a best western hotel, I was told that it was the owners decision and not Best Western. I will not recommend this location to any family or friends who visit. Why would you refuse a paying customer?

The AC worked great! I am not ones for heat, was able to keep the room more than cool enough and comfortable. Continental breakfast included a waffle station, bagles and cream cheese, toast, English muffins, cereal, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, apple juice and orange juice. There was a gal there refreshing and cleaning throughout the morning and was incredibly friendly and sweet. Wonderful stay, highly recommend!

This hotel is a fantastic value! it's an older property sure, but it's well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. When the worst thing you can say is that the breakfast could use some protein options, that's pretty good. For the price, it was beyond satisfactory.
