We had a very nice stay. A simple facility where everything was clean. The front staff was particular friendly and accommodating making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fairly basic but still offered a good variety. We would definitely use it again when we visiting Bainbridge in the future. The only disappointment was that the pool no longer existed. The property description on the website was not up to date prior to our departure. Only a minor disappointment for the kids.

NO elevator for second floor rooms and not on listing. Room was stuffy hot and AC unit didn’t work; had to have windows open (over walkway, so much for safety) until we got Fan only to work at 11pm. They have new paint but old rattling fan facilities. Staff was totally indifferent and misdirected us. No facilities. Stay somewhere else

Pleasantly surprised by the large size and excellent cleanliness of the room, and quiet surroundings. My room overlooked a greenspace. No weird smell, (except in the lobby). In room coffee was good, and breakfast offered some GF/veg options for me - yogurt, juice, fruit. A better-than expected experience overall (my expectations were moderated by it being a last-minute reservation during a holiday weekend). This hotel was as-described or better-than described overall.

Room was super clean! The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were soft. The Wi-Fi connected easily, the front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly! The Continental breakfast was also great with the selection of cereals, waffles, breads and even frozen foods! I would definitely book another night's day at this quality inn in the future.

Property is in a nice area . Outside is clean. Maybe it was the fact we showed up in the evening but the lady that created us wasn’t very friendly. The room was on the upper level. Upon entering the room smelled musty like it had been smoked in at some point. The light shades were absolutely disgusting. When you turn on the light it showed all the stains, and finger prints. The shower and bathtub had a slimy feel. Bed was comfortable in the sheets were clean..

There was a very strong musty odor and mildew odor in the room. The carpet was nasty with stains. Bed top comforter had large dark stains and looked dirty. Shower had black mold behind shower knob and on back of door. I probably won’t be staying here again on my frequent travel to the area.

I would not recommend it. The room was not that great and it was not matching the pictures. The carpet was very old and it smelled vey bad. The curtains were very short. It made the light come inside. It was very hard to get a good night sleep.

Overall a good place to stay. My only complaint is that the bathroom was incredibly small. May be better if the bathroom door swings outward instead of in. Also you should provide body wash along with shampoo and conditioner.

This isn't the fault of the hotel, but rather Expedia. I searched with Downtown Seattle as my filter. How the Bainbridge Island Quality Inn showed up with so many favorable reviews, I picked it. How was I to know that Bainbridge Island wasn't just an attractive name, but was on an actual Island? It turned out to be fine, I was headed to Vancouver. The staff did an excellent job in addressing my needs. If you have time to explore the Island and don't mind taking a 30-minute ferry to Seattle, it's a great place to stay. My only complaint is about the structure. My door didn't seal, so cold air battled the heater throughout the night.

Very pleasant stay. The inn is conveniently located - both off the beaten path, but close to attractions and amenities. It was about a 10-minute walk to the main business area and a couple minutes walk the other direction to groceries and coffee. Less than five minute drive from ferry dock. My suite was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen area. Breakfast had lots of choices. Comfortable bed, good water pressure -- what more do I need? Thank you for a great stay.

It is a nice place- I realize the state of the world today but almost 200 a night for a room where I had to completely enter the bathroom before I could close the door is shocking. Also the pillows leave a lot to be desired and we could hear the people above us walking heavy at all hours of the late night and morning.

I stay in hotels a lot, this was the most viscous staff I have ever had contact with. Maid alyssa seem to be in charge and allowed to walk into people's rooms and order them out, no manger on the premises the 3 days i was there. Threat with canceling my reservation if I didn't do as they said!

$300 for one bed with a 10 AM check out. Hotels.com listed as having a sofa bed but it did not so my wife had to sleep on the floor. The hotel could not offer a roll out bed. Allysa was very rude when we expressed out concerns.

The door to our room was difficult to close since there was little clearance between the door and the carpet. We were not told that our room would not be cleaned (we stayed 2 nights) and the sheets and towels changed. Other than the front desk clerk, there seemed to be no other staff on site most of the time. The breakfast “buffet” was extremely sparse: there was no juice, bread or bagels and no hot choices, eg oatmeal or eggs. The second morning, the desk clerk informed us that there was no breakfast since she hadn’t had time to set it up. When we asked for compensation, she was extremely rude, and told us it was complimentary and therefore we hadn’t paid for it anyway! Overall our stay was quite unpleasant and we definitely would not stay here again.

A run down place with nasty people at the front desk and rooms only cleaned every 3 days!! And breakfast ( nothing much there ) but closes at 9 am!! I have not seen such terrible service or an unfriendly environment in a very long time.

Good breakfast but somehow staff could be more professional while check in. No one like to be yelled while asking question especially I only asked second time because I didn't hear it clearly. My reservation also got mess up. If the hotel could communicate with third party better maybe the hotel will get correct dates, it's very inconvenience and the hotel staff didn't tell me until I got back to the room and locked outside my room.

6 night stay for my brother and me in one room and two sisters in the adjoining room. I think room service could have been more attentive, checking to see if we needed anything, etc as the rooms were not cleaned for the length of our stay, but we did catch housekeeping staff outside to give them garbage and request towels/linens. One morning breakfast (12/9) was not set up early, between 6 and 7:30 there was little to nothing put out, but all other mornings were quite good. Rooms and beds were comfortable, satisfactory. Parking was adequate. We were there in mid-December so the hotel was not very busy at all. Nice amenities/stores within walking distance and ferry is 5 minutes away, driving.

The breakfast offering was Cheerios and fruit loops. No eggs, no meat. Apples were the only fruit. Don’t even try the orange juice. Coffee must have come a machine using coffee syrup. Coffe made in the room was good. At 200 per night I expected a little better. So if the price attracts you, go for it but eat elsewhere.

The room itself was great; comfy bed, warm room, black out curtains, quiet. Getting into the room was another matter; it was raining and the water running off the 2nd story walk ran down like a waterfall in front of our room. We had to rush through, getting soaked in the process. No decaf coffee in the room or the breakfast area and none available. The coffee dispenser machine was broken and did not offer hot water for cocoa — desk manager said it had just been worked on. No toaster, though there was a waffle maker. Checkout was quick since we had prepaid. Rain had stopped so we didn’t have a waterfall to walk through when leaving in the morning.

Overall, it was good being on an island. Property is somewhat old but nothing is broken, I just wish the heater is not as loud as it is. Breakfast is so-so, not the usual continental breakfast. Nothing fresh from kitchen but they have microwaveable burrito, some fresh fruits, fresh coffee and tea etc. Great thing about them, if you need extra time they easily allow later check out and location is awesome, very close to Safeway.
