Did not like that we could not get Hilton Honor points for this stay. Room had no remote but was brought up to us fairly quickly. Iron was broken. One lamp was broken and hanging. Restaurant for dinner wasn't very good but waitress was by herself and very good. Food was just passable and seemed high in price. Breakfast was better and food was very good. Charged for parking- didn't last time we were there-a little petty I think. Daytime staff seemed more friendly than night staff overall. Room price was higher than trip last year-probably to pay for renovations. Overall a little disappointed with everything.

The staff and the breakfast/ buffet service was excellent but the carpet needs cleaning, the telephone in my room to call the front desk didn’t work. The printing system they have in the business center is inefficient and broken. I finally went to the front desk and asked someone to print. For a good night’s sleep and bring close to Fort Gregg Adams and Colonial Heights this is it but I was disappointed in a few basic amenity areas.

When we stay at a Hilton property we expect a swimming pool. We had a child in our party who was extremely disappointed because they could not swim during the last major summer holiday of the year. We should be told if a swimming pool is not included. This was grossly unfair. Didn’t expect this from a hotel of this caliber.

The elevator (1of 2) was out of order and on occasion, the only one working sounded over loaded and was “jumpy”. The lighting in the bathroom was insufficient and we’re asked by staff to move a floor lamp from the bedroom into the bathroom when more light was necessary. Otherwise, all was good

Room didn't have a fan in the bathroom - which seems like it's against every building code... Room was dusty in places and could use updating with decor. Felt old and stuffy, humid even though the air was on. Hotel advertises a pool but it's shut down for renovations, drained and not in service. Front desk staff were excellent, with great attitude and service.

Great spot to stay for a night! They have modern renovated rooms and great service. I happened to come here twice in a week. I left my water bottle the first time, and was very delighted when I asked if they had a lost and found and still had my bottle. I would’ve assumed they threw out items that were left behind. The lady who checked us in was wonderful. It was late and she was very kind and stayed positive. We bought a room with 2 queen beds and when we arrived they had none available which was a little frustrating. Also, they made us pay for parking…in their parking lot…very confusing and odd. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Pull out sofa was not comfortable at all like most others.

Very comfortable one night stay. Front desk was friendly and prompt. Th restaurant/bar in the hotel was OK- the pizza I ordered was JUST OK, but staff was friendly. Huge shout out and thankfulness for the whomever answered the phone and gave me courteous and quick service- This was a quick overnight stay, headed to CT, and left my watch and necklace. I called about 4 hours after checking out to let them know, and they offered to mail it to me. I checked out on a Sunday, and it was in my home mailbox by Wednesday. Just absolutely wonderful. I will make this my passing through hotel from now on, as they are reliable and honest.

We were told several times by several different staff members there was a complimentary breakfast. When we went down to eat, they wanted $14 for a cold basic and $24 for a hot meal. Wth? Complimentary means FREE. You need to change your words to continental breakfast NOT complimentary. This is so bait and switch and very much false advertisement. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, OUR DEPOSIT WAS NEVER RETURNED.
