Hotel is clean, has friendly staff and close to beach. Didn’t wake up this time for the hot breakfast, but we’ve stayed here several times before and breakfast is good. Unfortunately during this visit pool area was closed. Pool was really dirty wish we had a discount at least for 1 day due to no amenities available and price was too high.

This hotel was fabulous!! Clean, quiet, and walkable to the beach! The hot tub was as hottt, which was fantastic! The pool was beautiful with a special kids splash area. Front desk was great and the beds were super comfortable! Best night of sleep I’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely be back!

Staff was really nice and very helpful. The facility definitely needed some work as there were temp air conditioners in the hallways, the elevator refused to open at our floor, and the pool was a bit dirty. The hotel smelled musty but that was very likely because of the high humidity and lack of AC working properly in the hallways. The room AC worked well. The room was clean and comfortable though the beds were a little hard. The hotel is easily walking distance to the beach and the kids really enjoyed the pool.

Block from the beach. Convienience store only a block away. A few dining options in walking distance and one even across the street. Breakfast has great options. They have Mini omlettes, cinnamon rolls, cereals(hot and cold) and it seems they change daily. One day they had biscuits and gravy! Staff is accomadating and helpful. Only downside is AC doest work in hallways (they have huge fans to offset that) but room AC works great.

I always stay at Holliday inn because of how clean there rooms are and normally smells amazing. This is the first time ever it didn’t not smelled good, quite the opposite. There was bottles of drinks under the bed and hair in the shower wall from previous people who stayed there. Very disappointing.

Front desk clerk at check-in was not it. Super unfriendly and unengaging. Despite our pleases and thank yous he was stoic at best. There was a small roach in our bathtub. We went down to the pool area, and it was not the cleanest. There was this big planter next to the pool. Huge roaches and little ones were crawling in and out from in between the plants and running around the edge of the planter. I didn't want to complain because I thought , "What can he do about it now?" I went in to ask check-in guy for some pool towels, and he said he would bring some out. I went back outside and just as I was telling my husband that he was bringing towels out a huge roach was on my shoulder! When guy came out I informed him about the roach in my room, the ones on the planter, and the one on my shoulder, and he didn't respond at all! He just put the towels in the cabinet and walked away. I felt terrible. I didn't want to be that woman that complained at all. I was always very polite to him, and so his disregard to our discomfort really hurt. It really soured our overnight stay especially as we hadn't been to the coast in ten years. We will not be staying here again.

Holiday Inn has definitely gone down hill a bit. The hotel floor we were on seemed to not have working air in the hallways though there was working air in the rooms. The room smelled of mold and the bathroom was not the cleanest. There was visible mold in the tub and on the ceiling and in all the corners. Lastly, the lady that was watching the breakfast area was very rude and loud about it. When I was beginning I grabbed a tray for my kids to put their plates on and she literally yelled “uh uh uh!!!! No no no no!!!!! Trays are for taking food back to your room so put it back this ain’t Luby’s!!!” She continued to be bossy and rude to everyone who came in and I was very surprised that the property employed someone like that. Overall it was close to the beach and the sheets were clean which was mainly why we went so if you’re just looking for somewhere to get the job done and cleanliness isn’t a big deal then this is your place.

We had a double queen bed on the 1st floor with a view of the pool. Room#102 was close to the side door and parking. The room was clean modern everything worked fine fridge, air conditioner, tv etc. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was good, except the link sausage a lityle over cooked. The staff was very polite and helpful. Will stay here again. I always stay at Best Western on the same street. But it is getting very run down. I think they have new owners and dont look like they are doing any repairs or up dates.

Really disappointing. I can usually rely on Holliday Inns but this one wasn’t great. The first night our air conditioner was not working though they fixed it the next day they did nothing to compensate for the night of discomfort. They allowed people to party and play in the pool all night with music leaving the rooms over the pool to hear noise all night. The pool was messy with tiles falling apart and the water was a deep blue with very little chlorine. The beds were the hardest things I have ever slept on. We left a night early because it was 10 pm and people and kids were still making noise and partying the pool and I could take another night of the hard beds.

The water pressure in the bathroom was terrible- barely a trickle. And the gaps at the bottom of the doors were so wide and the hall light shone in brightly.
