The view of the place was just beautiful. The place was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. Out in the middle of no where which that is what we wanted and liked but yet 5 minutes from town itself. Definitely would stay again!!

We were very comfortable in your beautiful home. As I am sure you are aware, the views are stunning. We thoroughly enjoy the porch sitting. We all enjoyed what Wellsboro had to offer.

We arrived around 3:30 a half hour earlier than the 4:00 check-in. The setting is absolutely wonderful. You enter off the main road leading into Wellsboro and turn onto a maintained dirt/gravel lane that takes you uphill into the property. We had no problem with the instructions on how to access the front door. The stairs to the main living room, kitchen and first floor bedroom are a little steep and the stairs are not very wide. The home was clean and ready for our arrival. The kitchen which is a little dated is right at the top of the stairs and has plenty of room for meal preparations. The appliances were fairly new and all in working condition. There was comfortable seating for the six of us at the dinner table. The bedrooms were clean and the beds are very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own thermostatically controlled air conditioning unit in the room which worked very well but are a little noisy when running. The televisions worked very well but there should be an instruction sheet listing what streaming/cable services are available as well as operating instructions. The outside deck and scenery is amazing. Very quiet setting and nice property.

Everything was great. Amazing view. We had a lot of cloud cover when we were there. But I can only imagine the sky on a clear night. We did have a magnificent sunset on one of the clearer evenings.

Very much enjoyed our stay - the house is just as described, clean and comfortable. The three bedrooms are each on separate floors of the house (and each has its own ensuite bathroom) - this worked out well for our family, lots of privacy but also plenty of room in the open kitchen/dining/living room area and on the porch when we wanted to spend time together. The property is private and secluded, but only a few minutes drive to stores/restaurants, and two state parks within about 15 minutes. Would highly recommend, and hope to return again!

Such an amazing experience. My family (no children) had come to Wellsboro for the Dickens Day celebration. The owner had been very communicative in advance. We were quite literally breathtaken at first sight of the house. It is beautiful, beautifully situated, and was made more enchanting by the glow of a stunning Christmas tree lit in the main living room. Everything in the home was beautifully updated, full kitchen of stainless appliances, and appointed with tasteful, rustic touches throughout. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spotless, and everything you could need or want in a vacation home was provided. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. We could not recommend the property more.

Can’t say enough about this rental! Check in was a breeze, the home is lovely and very clean, kitchen with everything you need. . Amazing views and incredible sunsets from the deck each night! Only a short roadtrip to wine country in the Finger Lakes region. Also Wellsboro is such a quaint welcoming town, everyone so friendly. We would definitely stay at the Sky High Chalet again !

We felt that the property is well maintained. However, we were a group of all 70 years. The online description didn't adequately detail the amount of steps in the home. Many steep steps to reach the main level (with only one railing) and more steps (with no railing) to reach the loft bedroom and bathroom. Also, rugs in entryway posed a major trip hazard. Possibly non slip rugs in good condition would be a good idea.

Our adult family of 6 enjoyed their stay at Sky High Chalet. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We each had our own private floor with en-suite. There were plenary of places to relax and unwind. We all enjoyed spending time on the deck taking in the view. Christina was a wonderful host. We are looking forward to a return visit next year!

Very well kept and laid out. Love having three bedroom - bathroom combinations. Had a great hike at the PA Grand Canyon. Driveway is a pulse-pounding, killer cardio way to conclude a run of several miles (completed two days in a row) -- and now I don't need an EKG. The Downtown Diner was worth the wait (20 minutes).

Three couples (from Canada, New Jersey and Ohio) rented the property to ring in the New Year (2023). The property exceeded my expectations. We loved that each bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom plus a powder room on the main floor. The views were spectacular (including grazing deer). I would not hesitate to recommend this property. I hope to return.

Took a few days with my wife to unwind after a hectic few months. The house was as advertised with amazing views, comfortable furniture and close to both wellsboro and some of the great local hiking. We had one issue which was quickly and professionally resolved. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely comeback.

This is our third time staying at Sky High Chalet. My family and I look forward to staying at this clean, comfortable and beautiful house, every year. We never get tired of the amazing views. The property is private and seems like it is remote, yet the house is located just a couple of miles from Wellsboro. Christina is a wonderful host and very responsive to her guest’s needs. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with amazing views and stunning sunsets, look no further.

This is our second stay at the Sky High Chalet and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. The house was very clean, comfortable and stocked with everything that we needed. We prepared our meals in the spacious kitchen, sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view and sunsets. We cooked out on the grill and dined on the deck too! We enjoyed fires, in the fire pit, and appreciated how close we were to town yet we felt as if we were far away from everyone. Checking in and checking out were easy and seamless. The host was very responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. We booked the Sky High Chalet, again, for next year and are already looking forward to another week of family time and relaxation!

We've stayed here before and just love this house. Beautiful house in a terrific location. It sits away from everything but is only a few minutes to town.

We loved the location of this home. It was secluded with wonderful views, but just minutes from Wellsboro and roughly 20 minutes from the PA Grand Canyon. We only used the main floor, but found it to be clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

The chalet has everything you will need along with plenty of room to spare. Our group has been coming here now for four years and never have been disappointed. You are close to Wellsboro with plenty of things to do. The scenery from the chalet is absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful location. Very quiet and private yet only minutes to town. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck area. Hot tub was a great have after spending the day hiking through the parks.

Place was extremely nice.. Almost everything you would need was available.. Great location to access town and the Pine Creek Trail.. Saw lots of wildlife from deck. Only concern would be for elderly people, the steps to the main floor from the entrance we a little steep. The house was one of the cleanest ones we ever stayed at.. The views were outstanding.

WOW! This property is absolutely gorgeous! If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, then this place is for you! So very relaxing. I saw turkey, beautiful birds, and plenty of deer. The sunsets are beautiful! The deck is beautiful! Go sit outside and use the Merlin Bird App, and you will be amazed at all of the beautiful birds around the property. The landscaping is so beautiful. The inside and outside of the house is so clean and spotless. So much is provided for you during your stay. I definitely will be back. Communication with the Host was above and beyond expectations. I give this place a million stars.
