Stayed 1 night

We weren't very happy with our stay. First of all the bathroom light (where sink was) did NOT work. Okay, how did they not know this? How do you clean the sink without turning on the light??? Second, the TV programming kept going out on multiple channels. And the room had a strange odor!! If it wasn't so late we would have gone somewhere else.

Everything was great from the check-in to checkout! The front reception is was amazing Quick, efficient and organized. Found our reservation ad had us checked in in 5 min. Room, neat, clean, ac was great! Room is spacious with room for all our suitcases and gear. Room quite even tho many checked in later than we did.. Breakfast room set up wonderfully, many choices, eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins, toast, bagels, yougart, coffee, juices . There was a sweet attendent there to check and refill everything and wipe down any messes. Very efficient. I spoke to her but she said she did not speak English. On our way out I gave her $tip. She seemed to appreciate it. When I checked in my Keys, she waning the front lobby and she spoke to her friend who relayed message of thanking me for her tip. I asked him to let her know she was the best! Even tho, this was an older establishment with many rooms 2 floor, everything clean and welcoming. I would return here on my meet visit. One of the best LaQuinta's we stayed in on out vacation. Everyone here should be thanked! Lots of eateries nearby, great parking, right in front of our door. Thank you all!

I'm glad it was just a one-night stay bc it felt more like camping. Very convenient to food options, and I like the area, but I found 4 bugs in my room, including what I think was a large cricket. The check-in process was also odd bc they charged my card before I even arrived at the hotel, which was unlike any of the other hotels I've stayed at recently. It was fine, but I probably would spend a little more to stay somewhere else next time.

I usually don’t have any problems with this hotel, and we use it often. But the last two times we have stayed, we have paid for a late check-out at 1:00pm and from about 10:30am until we leave, we are constantly bombarded with housekeeping and other staff to see if we are still there. Also, even though I complete online check-in and provide a photo of my ID, I was still required to fill out all paperwork, re-submit my credit card for incidentals, and have my ID scanned again. This is not a failure of staff, but a failure in management practices.
