Convenient location between Bluffton and areas on the island, quiet property, clean room (bed linens and towels), liked having access to coffee and hot tea throughout the day, and enjoyed the cookies provided in the afternoon. Front desk staff were not rude but didn’t go out of their way to be friendly, very limited options in fitness center. It’d be nice to have small bottles of water available during breakfast instead of having to use the fruit juice machine.

The room (King) was updated, modern, very clean. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was "okay." Workout room had a little musky smell, but not terrible. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

I love staying at Hampton Inn’s and this stay was as great as expected so close to the beaches, shopping restaurants etc amazing! Loved it so conveniently located. The breakfast here is so Amazing! Hot breakfast daily w different options of eggs sausages bacon biscuits and with waffles, mini waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, and oatmeal, juice milk tea/coffee available daily it’s something for everyone the room was so great I loved being on the main floor made everything so much easier w kids the room had a nice size pull out coach as well made it super easy for everyone to be comfortable during our stay everything was very clean and so nice the pool was amazing and very clean as well, the staff was really friendly and easy to talk to, definitely recommend this hotel!!

Awful Awful Awful. I come to Hilton Head Island every year for the Concours Car Show and usually stay at the Simple Rewards Inn, an older motel nearby. This year I thought I would treat myself to an upgrade and stay at the Hampton Inn. I’ve been a Hilton Rewards member for over 30 years and in all that time I have never seen such a poor example of a Hilton Brand hotel. It’s an older two story motel in serious need of renovation. The first clue was the elevator. It was so dusty I immediately began to sneeze and my eyes started burning. I can’t imagine that the elevator shaft had ever been cleaned or the fan filter replaced. A dirty elevator is the first clue of a poorly maintained property. The room was nice enough and the bed was comfortable but the windows were filthy like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Again that only minimal maintenance is being done. This Inn is just not up to Hampton Inn standards. My suggestion would be to tear it down and build a proper Hampton Inn & Suites. Jack Baldwin. First of all they charged me $25 for early check. The lady was very cold and not nice. Our first room had bed bugs, I took pics for them. Then 2nd room was king bed when I had paid for 2 Queens. Third room was okay. Finally they refunded my $25 since it took over an hour to get a bug free room

Front desk was pleasant but the condition of the hotel and room was very disappointing. The room smelled of mildew and there was a leak in ceiling. The walls were dirty and furniture and bedding had a lot of stains. I had prepaid for two nights but we checked out very early next morning.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! My only complaint is the bed, the mattress was terribly uncomfortable. The padding was worn down and we could feel the springs poking our backs. Since a hotel is for sleeping, this is unacceptable and we won't be staying there again.

This seems to have been another hotel brand before being acquired by Hilton. The rooms were small and you could hear lots of noise from the hallways. I typically love the Hampton brand, but would not choose this one again.

The hotel is very nice. However, the walls are paper thin. The guy in the next room had a conversation on the phone and was not speaking loudly. I could hear every word that he was saying. Should somebody be there on a honeymoon, well, you can imagine. When that person would go out of the room, the door would slam, and the mirror in my room would come bouncing off the wall. The toilet tissue holder is in such a place that unless you are a kid, you will be on the “Throne“ side saddle. That’s a quick review. The room was great. Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast the next morning. Pool area looked very nice but I couldn’t get out there, So I can only see how it looked. I was in room 154. You asked about my stay. That about wraps it up. I can’t say that I will be back because of those issues.

Overall the room was good. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The shower & toilet are in a room smaller than a closet. There’s very little room to move around or get dressed. The sink is outside of the bathroom. The layout of the room was not good at all. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good!

The staff at this location are all incredibly friendly and nice. If we were ever to come back it would only be because of that. The hotel itself is not great. The bathroom and specifically the shower are very small. The floor of the shower is incredibly slippery, my husband and I each both nearly fell while taking a shower. The room we stayed in, the AC unit squealed whenever it was running. The parking spots upfront feel like they are mainly designed for compact cars, anything bigger than that and you’ll probably be parked over the lines. If you need a quick place to stay it’s certainly not the worst but it didn’t feel worth the money we spent- with the exception of the staff

This location was the most expensive of the four places we stayed for this trip based around Charleston - this one around two hours south. It was the most expensive, yet one of the smallest rooms, with a small microwave and fridge - but workable. Their breakfast was below the standard set by the first two we stayed at, but adequate relative the lesser options of the fourth we stayed at. The first two, while a bit less expensive, they also provided snack options that could consitute a buffet for a light dinner that was pretty impressive - not here.

Desk clerk could not find the reservations for all 3 rooms that we confirmed through Expedia. They had supposedly sold out of that style room and failed to notify/cancel with Expedia. Even with proof of confirmation emails, clerk was not helpful in getting the 3rd person set up in a substitute room. Between dealing with the clerk and Expedia it took over an hour to get this rectified. This same incident has happened on prior Expedia/hotel reservations.

The stay was okay. We stayed for 1 night. We were first given keys to a room that was not cleaned. I entered the room to find a disheveled unmade bed. The front desk clerk apologized, and we waited for about 5-10 minutes while she checked for another room. When we got to the 2nd room, one of the room keys we were issued did not work. After those issues, the rest of our stay was fine. For anyone unfamiliar with this area...There is a lot of air traffic noise because there is a landing strip right next to the hotel.

Clean, wonderful hotel. Breakfast was shockingly good. The hotel is a short walk from plenty of great restaurants (Paris Baguette, 843 KBBQ), and right on the bike path. Yes, you will need to drive to the beach, but it's a quick and pleasant drive. I hope to stay here again.

This is a well-run, well-kept hotel that offers excellent value for dollar. My room was clean, my bed comfortable and everything was in good order. Despite being located next to an airport, noise was never a problem. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered variety and was well-stocked. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

My wife and I drove down to South Carolina to see our son graduate from the Marines. Our hotel was located in Hilton Head which was very nice and had plenty of shopping also the drive wasn't too far from restaurants. If going to watch your child graduate from the Marines beware that this location is about a 45 minutes to an hour drive from Parris Island depending on traffic. We had read the reviews and people were saying that it was 15 minutes from Parris Island and that's because they have another hotel which is very close to Parris Island but either way the stay ended up being very nice. The hotel was really clean and the breakfast was amazing and the customer service was top-notch. Each and every day no matter who was at the front desk they were always pleasant and gave us advice and directions to places nearby. Another thing even though the hotel was pet friendly everything was so quiet and peaceful at all times. Check out was really easy and everything went great. Also I want to thank also want to thank hotels.com for such a great place to stay at a budget price. If you're on a budget this is definitely the place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

Our room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. I think there should be a towel rack in the bathroom because there was no place to hang up a towel. That's my only complaint. The omelet they served was light and fluffy.
