Comfort Inn Emporia

When I checked in, I asked for a possible late check out. Member of Choice hotels and have been for years.This is something that’s always been available. Desk clerk acted like I was unreasonable, and he said he’d never heard of such a thing. Turned into a long talk. I was tired and didn’t want it to be a big deal. Tried to disengage the conversation, but he would not let it go. Finally, I said that I’d ask the front desk later in the evening or in the morning. He finally admitted that someone else may know the answer. Also, when I usually check in, I’m told breakfast times, location of amenities in the hotel, etc. I wasn’t told any of this, so I decided to just wait to call the front desk later to inquire. Then, upon entering my room, I noticed a big brown stain on one of the bedspreads! When I tried to wash my hands, the water pressure in the sink was literally a TRICKLE! Additionally, the faucet wiggled back and forth, sliding almost across the counter . Had to hold it in place to work it and use the trickle of water that I received. Bath tub had better water pressure, but there were stray hairs in the tub, which was rather gross. Refrigerator needed to be bolted & secured . Each time I opened or closed the door, it wiggled out of the spot. While trying to remove a bottle from refrigerator while holding an infant, it almost slid out onto my foot several times . Definitely NOT what I’ve been accustomed to at Choice. Avoid hotel if possible. Bad experience and wasted money.

The staff PK was friendly and pets friendly too was good experience for my family y little dog , 100 % recommended this place

Staff not very knowledgeable. Not many choices for breakfast. Had to tell a worker who was sitting in the breakfast room there was no eggs in the pan.
