The fanciest lobby I've stayed in full of nice wood and decor with a chess table, pool and hot tub in the back in another room that was great to use. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was substantial and had cooked items as well.

It was convenient , quiet, comfortable, and perfect for what we needed. Kids had a blast, they loved the pool and we loved the hot tub. The breakfast in the morning was nice to have. Rooms were clean and everything worked. Beds were a little hard for us but that’s just a personal preference. When we come back through La Pine we will be staying here again.

Mattresses were nice and sheets were clean. Sort of an oddly made bedding with the top sheet tucked in so well it took a little digging to find it. But that’s minor, the hotel building was tired and in need of updating (old carpets that aren’t vacuumed that frequently and the rooms have an odor like they used to allow smoking but no longer do, but haven’t updated any of the furniture or carpet from when they did allow smoking). Elevator was out of service during our stay, so we had to lug our bags up/down the stairs. The pool isn’t a place you’re going to want to spend much time, it’s tiny and the hot tub is sub-miniature. But there aren’t many options in these parts, so I guess it’s the best option in town.

The ants that came into our room were annoying but understandable since our room was right by the door...housekeeping did not do a good job of making sure everything was vaccumed since we found a sleeping pill under our chair....we were there with a 2 year old...i looked up the pill and it said it was taken for insomnia.

As soon as I entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell similar to foot odor. I tried adjusting the temperature, but the remote control mounted on the wall had low battery and barely worked. The bathroom was dusty in several areas, and the tissue ran out after just a few uses. Early in the morning, there was a strange knocking sound that kept waking me up. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made.

The staff was super friendly but the facility was run down and extremely overpriced for what it offered. For $335 I can stay in a really nice and modern hotel in Portland OR. I cannot recommend this hotel. The bathroom shower tub had stains everywhere, there was hair in the sink, the towels were paper thin. The bed however was ok.

Loved the layout of the room. Had a kitchenette, large living area, and a fireplace. The bedroom was well equipped with a chair, bench, dresser, large TV, and very comfortable bed. My only complaint is that it wasn't throughly. I didn't complain because we only paid $16, as we used our points. Not a bad stay, and would still stay here again in the future.

Came over for a Celebration of Life in LaPine; this was our first time here. Very easy to get to; right off the main road in. Very nice, clean and beautiful decor. Room was good sized and comfortable. Breakfast was super with a good selection of choices.

We stayed a number of times at this hotel but this time we stayed in room 102 right next door to the utility room. All night the hum of the machines from that room. Making room 102 a very noisy place to sleep.

I don’t love writing bad reviews, but from the minute my son and I walked in, it was a mess. The woman checking us in was not kind to the point my 7 year old said, “mommy why was she mad at us?” I told him to look at the pool, and we could go swimming but the pool was green. There was a smell in the lobby but, I just thought it was an older hotel. However, when we were walking to our room, there was a distinct smell of smoke. My son said “mommy it smells like smoke” and began to cough. We went to the room which, was dirty and also smelled of smoke. At that point I called Expedia because it was so uncomfortable of a situation I didn’t want to go back to the front desk and risk my child seeing any type of argument. I called Expedia and we left the premises within minutes of arriving. Expedia contacted the hotel, who refused to issue a refund. I contacted Best western’s customer service who tried to help, but no answer. Th he hotel stayed I needed to call the manager but the manager won’t be in for another two days. I would not recommend staying here.

When I had to go on this trip to visit family it was emotionally hard and I had hurt my back. What a gifts it was to get to stay at this Best Western because of the service ,specifically Taylor. Taylor helped me change rooms last minute , gave me a I’ve pack for my back , and even helped mail back items my forgetful kids left behind. I love Best Western. Thank you Taylor for offering kindness to me.

Fantastic! We were able to get an early check-in which really helped us in our stay in the area. Receptionist is very helpful, nice and informative. Trying breakfast soon. Bet it’s great. Loving our stay.

The staff and management was not helpful. Hotel is run down. Rooms state they are queen beds but they are not. Manager would not issue refund despite admitting to rooms having double beds

We enjoyed the free breakfast. The room was very comfortable. The nearby dining options are mostly fast food but there were also some non-chain restaurants. The gas station next to the motel was convenient for ice and other provisions on our way to Crater Lake. We would stay at this Best Western again.

This is the second time that we have stayed here and find the place comfortable and convenient to Newberry Crator where we are going to cross-country ski. The Hunan Chinese restaurant next door is a short walk away and good food. There is a Ray's Market across the highway and also within easy walking distance.

LaPine is amazing and sadly this is one of the only places to stay. They obviously know and take advantage of this. Our shower curtains had mold or mildew and the floors were stained. Its old and not updated, with years of human grime accumulating. The houskeeping staff were definitely overworked yet the nicest of all their employees. We had asked about checking out an hour later but the front desk said you had to ask the morning of after 7am, when a manager is on shift and spent the next 15 minutes trying to come up with some bs reason that would make it sound legit. A simple no would have been absolutely fine, and from a customer service standpoint much more effective and less irritating. We didnt get the price Expedia quoted. I didnt know if that is because we chose to pay at the hotel. I wont book that way again. So we paid $50 more per room one night and $30 the next. The continental breakfast does not have many options. Unless you're wanting to make a waffle everything comes from the microwave. No healthy options.

This was a stop on a road trip and we had such a great time. It was affordable, our family had such a great time with the pool. Everything was clean. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was actually a REAL breakfast. There were eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, bagels, pastries, waffle makers, English muffin and more! I didn't want to head to our next destination after this. I wanted to stay here instead.
