Liked that it was close to highway. Night front desk man was not very friendly but did get us towels for the hot tub which is open til 10 and clean. They do not have an elevator so have to haul bags up staircase with no assistance. Breakfast was descent. Had make your own waffles.

Well, I have to admit and I’m not want to complain about things but the reason I chose this hotel is because they have a pool and spa and upon my arrival for my stay at the hotel I was informed that the spa a.k.a. hot tub was out of service and that’s the whole reason why I chose this hotel I’m actually very disappointed. Had I known that this hot tub was out of service I would’ve booked a room with a hot tub or found another hotel with a hot tub. It would be nice if the company offered me a room with a hot tub in the future at a discount. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and everything was great. Service was great and that’s why I chose this property, but I’m very disappointed this time.

Of the three Best Western hotels where we stayed this week, this was my least favorite. Breakfast wasn’t well administered. Lack of variety in foods offered. The gym equipment was old and poorly maintained. The room was clean and bed comfortable. But overall facility could use an upgrade.

This was the 4th or 5th time we've stayed at this location. We were very disappointed that it has become 'rundown'. It appears that there have been no improvements over the years. The spa jets were UNCONTROLLABLE!!! They were set to shoot straight up. It was almost unbearable to sit without being splashed in the 'face'. The jets should be replaced with 'directional' jets. After driving 6-7 hours, it would have been nice to be able to relax without worrying about drowning in the spa.

We had 3 rooms for the night traveling with children and grandparents. All rooms were dirty. 2 out of 3 had ants all over. We were upgraded on one room but unfortunately it smelled of pee or musty. The breakfast was surprisingly good compared to the rest of the experience. The staff were all nice and friendly. I couldn’t wait to leave though.

Our room, room 106 was extremely dirty. It looked like dog feces all over the carpet. We asked to change rooms, but the hotel was full. They moved us the following night to a room that was clean. The manager, Thomas, said he would refund our money from the first night. So far, nothing. Messages left for the manager, no response. We have stayed here many times as we have family in the area. Never any complaints. But this room was horrendous. The assistant manager was aware of it. When I mentioned the room, she said “ the carpet”? It should have never been rented. And it was a suite.

This is a very pet friendly hotel and our room smelled that way. A couple hours with the window open in December and it was OK for the night. Otherwise it was an over all good experience.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. They were out of reg batter for waffles. Only had strawberry. Out of both regular & Sugar free syrup. Only had blueberry & apple pie filling for the topping. Out of strawberry. No attendant...had to go find someone. Rooms were comfy. Towels were nice & soft. Biggest disappointment was ther was no view of the river. Not even from outside.

The MOST important thing in a room is that the beds are comfortable, the mattresses and pillows are higher quality than all of the other places I've stayed at between Grants Pass and Medford. This place also has a pretty good/big breakfast selection with the coffee/tea/cocoa station remaining available in the lobby outside of the breakfast hours. The staff are always pleasant and they stay on top of things, such as restocking pool towels and the food in the breakfast trays. The location is far enough away from the freeway that I did not hear road noise, it's not exactly the most scenic location but it is close to the river park, bike trails, and walking distance to Catch Thai in downtown. The pool and hot tub are on the small side and very well maintained. I saw maintenance checking the chemicals in the mornings.

Check in was quick; easy. Staff were nice. Room wasn't bad, a little dated. Stayed 4 nights, and had to get both key cards "reactivated" on two different days. Breakfast foods were 9/10 and again, staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi was free, but HORRIBLE. Had to log in a few times for work, and connection kept dropping or completely disappearing. Overall a nice hotel, but would not use as a first option, due to needing to be available for work. Definitely a 10/10 for staff friendliness!

We had the greatest time at this hotel! The staff were the absolute best at tending to every detail and every need with speed, care and a happy and smiling face. The breakfast everyday was such a lovely spread of yumminess with biscuits and gravy to home fries and sausage or bacon. The staff really work overtime in making sure it’s as clean as possible. Didn’t get the two names of the ones who helped the most but it was the last with glasses and dark hair and the man with the bun that worked the front desk and kitchen area that made our trip so enjoyable! The deserve a raise! The only thing o wish we had known was that there was no elevator. We were second floor middle of the hall and so going from the car and loading or unloading to just breakfast, laundry or the pool really made us tired—for healthy people without false hips, it wouldn’t be a big deal, and next time, we know to request first floor as to avoid this.

Only concern was no elevator, and no first floor rooms available at check-in. My husband is disabled and after falling on the stairs, the staff was able to relocate us to a downstairs room for one night than move us to another room for the rest for our stay. Low rating for the communication with this hotel . I had a concern with the reservation . I emailed the property where it stated it would take several business days for an answer . They never replied . As our stay neared I called the property numerous times with no answer . The 1- 800 number picked up promptly and took care of my concern . Once situated we called the front desk as our TV remote did not work and again the desk did not answer . I went down to the desk to get an extra blanket and was told to come back the next day . The young man at check in obviously did not like his job , never a smile or even eye contact . The day manager was however the exact opposite- friendly and very helpful .

My daughter broke her goggles right as she was about to get into the pool. I went to the front desk to see if Lost and Found had any. David at the front desk not only looked at what they had onhand, but he went into a storage area to check. Then he called a few nearby stores to see if there were goggles and highlighted a map along with letting me know where it would be cheaper. Best Western hotels are always perfectly fine places, but David's thoghtfullness pushed this location to excellent.

Great place to stay. Location right next to Rogue River is a real plus. All the staff were excellent, and the breakfast was good with a different offering each day. You even get to enjoy real dishes, glassware and metal utensils. The pool was nice but lacked umbrellas or sunshade. The reason for four stars is the fact that there are no elevators. Having had knee surgery presented an uncomfortable trip up the stairs to the second floor. No other rooms were available on the first floor. Highly recommend if you are in shape to tackle stairs each day.

False advertising. Says it’s in Grants Pass, it’s not!!!!! It’s 15 mins away by car on I5 in Rogue River. Don’t be fooled by the ad like I was. Book elsewhere if you’re wanting to explore Grants Pass.

The room was decent. However, we stayed 4 nights and out of that 4, our room was partially serviced ONCE. Beds were never made, trash taken out the one time the room was serviced. I had to get fresh wash cloths and hand towels each day when we returned to our room. Other than that, the breakfast was outstanding and staff were friendly and professional.

I had requested a shower chair upon arrival. A few hours later, I asked again on our way out to dinner. When we can back, there was no one at the front desk and still no shower chair. So I was unable to shower in the morning. I complained in the morning to the manager, Stephanie, who was very nice, but unable to do much as we were leaving. She couldn’t give a discount because we had booked through Expedia. She did offer a 50% on our next stay, but that’s not likely to ever happen. Also, the breakfast was abysmal. Round “scrambled “ egg disks, limp bacon, cheap bread. I guess the fresh waffles were ok. Coffee was horrible. And the 1/2 hour we were in there, no one came in to clean the tables or replenish the food. YUCK!
