What guests think
Across recent reviews of Dallas Love Field Inn, guests frequently report serious cleanliness problems (pests and stained linens), unhelpful service, unexpected fees or deposits, and rooms that do not match promotional photos, complicating check‑in experiences and refund requests.
Many describe run‑down rooms with broken or weak door locks, malfunctioning AC or heat, smoke odors, nonworking TVs, and missing microwaves or fridges, with Wi‑Fi often unreliable. While close to Dallas Love Field and major roads, numerous reviews cite loitering, suspected drug activity, and late‑night noise around the property, making the area feel unsafe. Some travelers valued the low price for a quick stopover. Overall, expect a very basic, budget stay with significant trade‑offs.

Community microwave has probably never been cleaned. Bathtubs do not have a drain plug or an overflow drain. Too many fees.

DAYS IN DALLAS : Absolutely the worst service I’ve received in ANYWHERE IVE EVER STAYED. no working phone in room- the “lobby” vending machine HOT - purchased a “cold frappe coffee” from the machine the attendant, I explained that it was hot, set on his iPhone, did not make eye contact and refused to give me money back, the place was very absolutely dangerous- not we’ll lit and suspicious activity was going on in various locations upon my arrival. It was non refundable- I could not get my money back.l The hotel looks nothing like the pictures in the advertisement all of the sheets had cigarette holes dark walls and horrible smell. It was truly a scary experience.for a single female business traveler

the hotel is in a remote secluded corner, when you pull into the property there is homeless people hanging around outside. when you go in to the lobby you have to go into a second entrance with a security window and speak through a speaker box. when you walk into the room. the bedsheets had cigarette burns in them. bathroom is not updated and old, room smelled like smoke.

The place is old, dirty and the staff is NOT trying to do better either. They are rude, roaches and cockroaches are to be found. I had to THOROUGHLY CLEAN INCLUDING THE AC unit AND SPRAYED 2 cans of bug spray while there. Being unfamiliar with the area - they got me and I was in a pickle and needed a place ASAP in that area. Forget that it is close to Love Field and SW Airlines. Here, you really DO GET what you pay for - yuk! No bargins here and the aggravation made it worst! Vending machine with water and Gatorade in NOT REFRIGERATED and folks use their hands to get ice out of their ice machine next to the nastiest microwave I have ever seen. The smoke detector did not work either. It was really horrible! Awful. Bad. And it stinks...no really. The check-in area/ "vending and ice" - that should have been the red flag but, l was HOPING that it would get better somehow? Especially after i did all that cleaning!

The staff is unfriendly and rude. The room was not clean and had cockroaches and the AC unit was VERY nasty! Black dirt caked onto the filter of the AC ( I had to scrape if off before I could wash the filter) and it took 30 minutes to clean it so that it was decent. And, I bought RAID to spray the room - twice during my stay.

Hazardous electrical wiring, no deadbolts on the doors, no functioning smoke detectors, absolutely filthy floors, bathroom, sinks, sheets, roaches everywhere even in the fridge, and I went through three room reassignments before I gave up. Location was hard to find and removed from everything, and the other guests were definitely drug dealers and addicts. Oh and the wifi didn't work at all 0/10

Seedy area, but mostly just people trying to do their own thing. Made the mistake of trusting that the AC would do anything against the poor ventilation and heat. Had to put my faith in the one remaining lock of two (It had been ripped out of the door). Cleanliness was disgusting. Cigarette holes and burns everywhere, butts in the sink, toilet paper stuck to the wall with urine, etc.

There was roaches in the room, the towels were stained, the curtain on the window wasn’t even on all the way, the bed was springy, the room wasn’t very clean, the outside of the hotel was disgusting. There was trash everywhere on the property. There was creepy/homeless people just sitting on the outside of rooms. People screaming at each other at two in the morning, men sitting in their cars blasting music at night with their lights shining into rooms. Would NOT recommend staying here, especially with a child. I felt so unsafe staying there. It’s a cheap hotel but still not worth the price.

Horrible, there was blood stains, cigarettes holes, hairs on the bed covers. No batteries in the remote control, and an odd stain on the wooden floor. My partner and I were not comfortable staying in the hotel, at 3 in the morning there was gun shots and we could hear people arguing. Never been at a hotel so bad in my life.

Terrible. Room was disgusting, roaches everywhere, stains all over the bed, toilet was disgusting. We had a “non-smoking” room but reeked of cigarette smoking. We brought the employee to come look how nasty the room is, all he could say was “it’s not that nasty” “ we are not a 5 star rated hotel” I get that they are not a 5 star rated hotel but with how disgusting this place is, I’m not sure how they are still open. There was people everywhere smoking weed, people watching you, definitely didn’t feel safe. We did not end up staying here. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend.

Toilet seat was barely hanging on. Shower had a weird floor to it. The TV had a remote that wouldn’t work because the tv was a Roku and remote definitely wasn’t a Roku. Batteries were fine yet wouldn’t change the channel or volume. Had to physically tune the tv on at the tv. No mini fridge. If you only need a bed to sleep—this is the place and that was all I was in need of.

There is a $20 early check-in fee that we were not aware of. We had to ask for an extra cup and a roll of toilet paper. The blankets were very thin, the tv only had one station that only played one show. The only one that had some sense and wasn’t rude was the younger teller.. The older one was rude and seamed restless

We got stuck waiting for our rental vehicle in the middle of the night. We showed up for our reservation, and were turned away because it was after 4am. They said all un checked in reservations at 4am automatically canceled. But we were there and wanted our room. They said no. They wouldn’t even let us set up a new reservation. They said we would get our money back. Well, we never did. Expedia reached out to them and basically told us no. We showed up, they turned us away and then kept our money. Horrible place.

I stayed at many hotels over the years and this is by far the worst I've ever seen. Stained sheets and a rude staff. I inspected my room to find General filth everywhere and some very concerning stains on the sheets and the mattress cover underneath. When I asked the hotel to give me a set of fresh sheets I was informed that they weren't available. I asked again later that night and the guy told me I'd have to come back in the morning and speak to a manager. Asked for another room he told me the same thing he was incredibly rude and told me yo " go away". They informed me I could not get a refund then I could not get a partial refund. I ended up sleeping in my car in the parking lot of a gym as I did not feel safe sleeping in the room itself. Came back the next morning and the day manager tried to offer me a different room and I said no because I figured they were all horrible. He refused to give me a refund as well. Whatever you need to do to avoid staying here do it.

*Stay away from this place* The receptionists bang on the table with their fist, to get your attention through the bullet-proof glass screen. They use vulgar and loud language, ‘HEY YOU PAY ATTENTION’ Extremely rude! They deceptively force you to pay extra money to check into a room earlier than the guaranteed check-in time. Worse, they may you pay a damage deposit. The receptionist in the morning, extremely rude, claimed there was no record of me staying in the assigned room, and refused to give me the name of the guest who stayed in the room or investigate. Extremely incompetent so I did not get my deposit back. Lucky for him, I wanted to get out of the disgusting and dated hotel. The whole area was sketchy with what looked like drug dealers and prostitutes all over the back parking lot. So I was more preoccupied with not getting mugged than getting my deposit back.

The room itself wasn’t bad, what was bad was the service. The overnight person was just the rudest person I’ve ever encountered my whole life. I just don’t understand how they can be so rude to the guest. At the end of the day we (the paying guest) are basically who pay them. They should really retrain there staff.

Hotel was not anything how it was described booking through hotels.com. This is such a disappointment. We came in at 1am from a delayed flight and had to leave this crappy hotel to find another. It was in no way up to code with health standards. Roaches everywhere, homeless people all around. Very unsafe

the hotel is in a remote secluded corner, when you pull into the property there is homeless people hanging around outside. when you go in to the lobby you have to go into a second entrance with a security window and speak through a speaker box. when you walk into the room. the bedsheets had cigarette burns in them. bathroom is not updated and old, room smelled like smoke.

We picked this hotel due to its close proximity to the airport - we had an early morning flight back to Chicago, here's what we experienced: Junkies in/around the facility. Dead cockroach near the fridge. Unknown species of small bugs crawling on the floor. Clean sheets, average cleanliness of bathroom. It was good to see security officers patrolling the area, given low-life crowd within the premises. Real nice gentleman running the hotel but apparently with limited abilities to manage the issues.

There were pimps hanging out outside the room, people were blasting music super loud all night, and there was a dying puppy on the side of the building where some hookers were hanging out, room itself was messy with stains on the carpet and the curtain wouldn't fully close and people were looking into the room all night and hanging out directly outside. Super unsafe area

This hotel is infested with roaches. I checked in and turned the light on and was immediately greeted by 10 or more roaches of all different sizes; just scurrying around. I was so surprised and disgusted. They are on the cheaper side for a reason and definitely benefit by having a close airports name in their name. That causes people to ascribe certain things towards this property site unseen. Horrible! Then when I tried to have a uber eats order from a local pizza spot I learned that the property is on their “banned” list because delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint!
