At Comfort Inn & Suites Beaverton - Portland West, guests often praise comfortable rooms and friendly service, while recurring complaints focus on maintenance issues, thin walls and traffic noise, and frequent closures or problems with the pool.

Covered parking is appreciated, but elevator outages and hard‑to‑operate showers come up in multiple stays. Didn't expect much for this stay, but the price and location were great, so took a chance. Everything was actually quite nice. Lots of parking (including under building lighted parking), good amenities, decent hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, bread, juices), and the room was great with no issues. Would stay here again!

The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was great, though we would have preferred beef bacon over ham. The main issue was the Wi-Fi, which was very poor and hardly worked. On a positive note, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the dryer was out of service, which became a real problem since we washed our clothes but couldn't dry them. We were told that a new dryer had been ordered.

The pool was closed which was the main reason we chose this hotel. I feel there should have been a discount considering this because we canceled another hotel due to false advertisement of a pool only to check in and find out the pool was closed for repair The a/c is very noisy in the room but works well. The parking lot is sketchy - homeless camper, people hanging out after hours, and not a safe area. Breakfast was okay - offered hot and cold options. Noise level in hallways was louder than expected we were disappointed, Especially since we stayed here previously and had a better experience. Too expensive for what we received. We feel we were deceived

This one one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room smelled so terrible that we ended up having to leave in the middle of the night. The worst one-night hotel stay I have ever had on Friday 2/16/2024. Roach infested; trashed rooms rented at $131 per night. I would not stay here for free and compared it to a "crack-house" upon checkout. Room 101 is roach-infested. The owner's office is in room 108. I find it hard to believe he is unaware of the issue. I killed a cockroach and provided it to the front desk. They were very unbothered and asked me to email them pictures (which I provided with video of the crawling roaches). They attempted to switch me to two separate rooms, which kept getting worse, with mold, broken light switches, torn drapes, stained carpet, loud/ringing fridge right next to bed, stained floors. I am horrified. This happened Saturday morning. It is now Wednesday and MKM management has let to contact me regarding and apology or a refund. I requested a refund Saturday morning before 11am (I pre-paid for two nights). The employee then charged and refunded me for an ADDITIONAL/third night. I inevitably paid $262 to stay here one night and received no refund. It is unethical to charge people money to stay here.

I think I ended up staying here about a month while between jobs/homes. It's in a quiet little area with some good cafes within a decent walking distance. Gina at the front desk was great and always super helpful. The breakfast was pretty decent, though my one complaint would be that the bacon often wasn't cooked enough for my preference. If I find myself back in the area again I'll stay here for sure.

No one at check in desk. We walked around looking for someone for 15 minutes. I found the 'Employees Only' door. Knocked on it, opened it and no one there. The safe was open. I had access to everything behind the front desk. That's CRAZY and unprofessional. Finally, the gentleman showed up and didn't even apologize. Throughout our stay we saw the front desk deserted many times. We were in room 105, clear view from our window. Hire more staff to watch you front desk and protect items, like food/drinks in the 'Marketplace'.

After a long day of travel, leading to a late check-in, we waited over 15-20 minutes before even seeing a staff member who might be able to check us in. The lobby was FREEZING cold and an empty sterile white room. Void of just about all signs of human life besides an empty counter, computer, phone and a couple of chairs for guests. We tried calling multiple times, with no answer. When a staff member finally was even in sight, he was outside with a broom/mop, oblivious that anyone was waiting for him. Another customer who happened to be outside informed him that there were people waiting for him. Only then did he head our way. The continental breakfast provided had a number of options, including hot dishes. It was the highlight of our one night stay. The staff member working in the breakfast area was however, unfriendly as well. Our room seemed to be a standard hotel room, no real complaints there. We weren't there long enough to notice any positives or negatives. It was quite odd that our room had a very noticeable slant to it. There was an actual, visual, triangular space under the door to confirm. For a quick, short stay where we didn't need to be at the hotel much, we might return. A more leisurely, multiple night stay, we would choose elsewhere.

This review is going to sound crazy but this was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Especially a hotel with 7.9 stars. We arrived at 3:30 for our 3pm check in. We were in a little hurry because we had to get ready for a concert. The first staff was a lady and she was incredibly slow. She took 15 minutes helping the couple before us then proceeded to tell us our room wasn’t ready yet and when asked when it would be she said “I don’t know”. She then proceeded to check me in and gave me room keys insinuating it actually was ready. We grab all our stuff, get to the room, and it is trashed (not cleaned yet). She gave us keys to a DIRTY room. I had to go back down to the office where there was a new staff member. 5 people in front of me, I waited about 20 more minutes. Finally, he helped and gave us keys to a new room. We go back up and it’s a 1 king room when we booked a 2 queen. I asked about this and he said “sorry we’re all booked up for 2 queens”. So we dealt with it as there was a pull out couch and we were in a hurry. No blankets in the closet as he said there would be. We get back from the concert, around 1am. I untuck the comforter from the bed and begin putting my legs under. I kid you not there was literal SH*T under the comforter!!! My leg touched it and I had to run to the bathroom to wash it off. I call the office again. A different guy comes up and takes the comforter. New room was not offered. He says the rest of the bed should be fine. INSANE

Gina, Aida and other front desk staff turned weather chaos in Beaverton area to a warm, welcoming experience. Power outage sent many families to relief from sub-freezing temps and property damage. We stayed 5 days under the care of staff who were so kind and dedicated. Usual staff size was lowered because some just couldn’t get to work due to snow and ice. Those who were able put in extra hours to provide a clean and comfortable “home” for all of us while waiting for power to be restored. Facility had been refreshed recently. The daily free breakfast was plentiful and tasty— provided by just one cheerful attendant. This moderately priced property is appropriate for business travel and families in town for visiting relatives. I recommend it highly because of the committed staff. They really care about their guests and should be proud of their efforts to earn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I accidentally booked this room that was not in the area I needed to be. But regardless, the room was clean and roomy, comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Parking area seems safe. Not a walkable area, nothing near by (although there is a diner next door). Nice and quiet between rooms, but a lot of road noise in the early morning. I whole heartedly recommend bringing ear plugs unless you are someone who gets up before dawn. staff not exceptionally friendly but told me what I needed to know. Housekeeping staff quite noisy in the morning. All in all it was just fine.
