Good stay overall. Staff was great checking in with us and doing their best to try to make our stay as good as it could be. Facilities are dated a bit. There aren’t any elevators so if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to carry up steps if you are on second floor. The only complaint we really have about the property was the ac in the room couldn’t keep up and cool entire space well. The hallway was also hot. It cooled off at night finally when the sun went down. But overall our stay was great.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the secure doors broken, ice machine in our building out of order. No coffee filter basket for the coffee maker, slow moving bathroom sink drain, the refrigerator in the room was not cooling, confusion at check in. It was only a two floor facility , which was not to bad for us. However we found there was no elevator which we were not aware of.

Our room was never cleaned during the 3 night stay. We had to call to ask for TP and towels. It was pretty dirty inside and out. The pool area was pretty dirty and covered with spiders. The side entry door didn’t lock and seemed pretty unsafe to have little kids around. The breakfast was pretty bad.

Hotel room was clean. Staff friendly and facilitated my needs. Pool was empty and not working which I wish I had known. Front door also didn’t work the whole time we were there. Anyone could walk in. Overall for the right price I’d stay at again. It’s close to cedar point and quick food options.

The rooms were spacious enough for 4 adults. Clerk was amazing and very helpful. They have yard games you can borrow. Pool was warm on a cool night, firepit area was cozy. Overall very nice hotel and we will definitely return in the future.

I didn’t like the fact when I booked this room i put it 2 adults and 3 kids said this room held 5. When we got here we had no cot and all 5 of us had to sleep in two full size beds, you could imagine we didn’t sleep well last night, then our bathroom wasn’t cleaned, it had dirty towels on the floors, garbage wasn’t taken care of, and there was a washcloth in the shower.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, and we were so happy with where we chose to stay. Immediately entering the lobby, you could smell how fresh and clean it was. The employees were exceptionally kind, too! Upon entering our room, the cleanliness continued. We felt safe there, as well. If ever in the Sandusky area again, we couldn't think twice to stay here again.

We didn't have inflated expectations with the affordable price, however we were disgusted that the property is being so misrepresented. The entire property is neglected, stains all over the furniture & carpet. Tvs/fireplace were unplugged and there was a strong smell of mildew/mold present. After all this being said, you can imagine our dissatisfaction of being offered another room versus a refund.

We had 2 rooms for 2 days. We stayed in rooms that had whirlpool tubs, in neither of the rooms were the tubs cleaned, despite us asking twice to get this done. There was mold surrounding the light in the bathroom and the floor under the window was wet for days. One room spelled of recent smoking, despite properly being “smoke free”. Overall, not clean at all.

Room was not very clean. The lady at the front desk had to come clean the jacuzzi and take things that was left in the room.. and the hallway light flicks . It’s so dark in here that you need that light, and there was hair in the shower

Great value for money, exactly what we needed for our three day stay, with just a short 5 minute drive to Cedar Point. Great location for access to lots of restaurants, plenty to choose from along the same road. Free parking with plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast options were good, waffle maker, a couple of hot breakfast options, cereal hot drinks, toast etc. Fridge in room and also a jaccuzzi inside our room too! We didnt get chance to use it but great if you did! Very spacious family room.

The room was spacious and had a tub (we didn't use) But the two king beds had horrible mattresses on them. my son woke up with such a bad back ache he wasn't sure he would make it into Cedar Point because of it. The room needed updating badly, cobwebs in the corners and the walls needed a new paint job. The worst of the stay was having to run in the rain to the building where the breakfast was. If they had it where you room key could unlock one of the closer doors to the main building it wouldn't have been as bad but you had to use the main entrance and it was kind of far if it's raining. Ask for a room in the main building, or better yet, choose a different hotel

4 stars overall for me. The rooms themselves were only okay. We did move rooms due to stains on the sheets and the second room felt a bit damp from the A/C, but the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the price was great considering we only booked the day before. And it's just around the corner from Cedar Point. Overall a good experience!

Only problem we had was we could not get the wifi to work at all in the rear building. We were hoping to relax and watch and watch football and play some online xbox games but were not able to game at all. The office tried to help but we eventually gave up. Other than that we had a great night.

It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great, either.. Our room smelled heavily of smoke and bleach, and the air conditioning was at 60° and very cold (it was in the 40’s at night). It was probably just that one room, but it was uncomfortable. We didn’t bother saying anything because it was almost midnight and were too tired to bother. The room was clean, and the staff was nice. I may give it one more shot if I had to, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.

Everything was great. The young man who checked me in gave me tips on going to The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and was very kind and informative! Only had one very miner problem which was quickly resolved. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good too, although we only ate one day as we were very busy everyday.

Called to see about an early check in and was told that wouldn’t be possible… ok, no worries! So we show up a little after 4 (check in time) and get told our room is still not ready but it should be shortly. Sat in the lobby for 45 minutes when I finally asked the staff what the ETA was. They finally said “ one second floor be OK?” Um, yes….? Finally, we get our keys only to discover that there is no elevator *sigh*. Guess that explains the second floor question. I will say, the room was very clean, the sheets were nice - not that sticky microfiber some hotels use now - and the breakfast was pretty good. Overall, the hotel needs some updates and more staff but I think you get what you pay for!

In town for softball tourney and Cedar Point. Hotel was 8 mins from sports complex and 10 mins to Cedar Point parking lot. Fast food restaurants (McDs, Wendy’s, Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, etc) was about 5 mins drive from hotel. Hotel is not fancy and has some age but seemed well maintained with a nice fire pit sitting area with about 10 chairs next to outdoor pool. A few warm breakfast items plus bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, coffee was provided each morning from 6-10am. Staff was friendly and provided extra towels, soap, etc when needed at front desk.

Nice hotel for the price. You can tell it's an older property and needs a bit of sprucing up. There was a youth baseball team there when we stayed and they over took the pool/fire pit area. It would have been nice to enjoy but the kids were being very loud and rowdy so we left. I know it's not the hotels fault people don't watch their kids. The breakfast was decent for a hotel. Overall I would stay again for the price and being 5 minutes from Cedar Point.

The hotel isn't new, but seems to be well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast can be overcrowded at times, and the wait for do-it-yourself waffles can take awhile.
