The room was not very clean. The bathroom trash was not emptied from the guests before us. There was no soap at all in the bathroom and the floor in the bathroom was gross. Looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks.

Pros: *clean, welcoming breakfast space *quiet lakeside patio with plenty of seating *very nice front desk staff *comfortable bed and pillows Cons: *previous occupants' towel hanging on the bathroom door when we arrived *hole in ceiling where bathroom vent should be (photos) *mold and spiders in corners of room (photos) *bathtub spigot detatched (photos) and jacuzzi jets broken *carpets (hallway and room) have not been vacuumed in months *maple tree seedlings growing from broken gutters *trash cans on patio were so full they did not open, or full of black rainwater with decomposing cigarette butts and trash *windowsills thick with bugs, spiderwebs, and dirt that truly have not been cleaned in quite a while. (photos) *nonsmoking bedroom that was obviously smoked in prior to us *"lake view" window covered in dirt and spiderwebs (external and internal) *parking near the room did not feel safe I really wanted to love this place based on the photos and the genuine kindness of the front desk (I believe he was the only person working the three days we stayed), but had I been traveling alone, I would have opted for another motel despite having paid in full, nonrefundable through Hotels.com. I am not sure if this is a recent acquisition by Quality Inns, but it has slipped through the cracks of what quality embodies.

The room was clean and nice The lake side deck needed replacing and eves have trees growing out of them. The grounds clearly have not been touched this year, what else is being neglected :/ Given all that I will not choose this stay again.

The manager , Zach , was excellent , very professional and friendly. The property is obviously older , could really use some updating because older things appear dirty . After checking into our room we asked for a change of sheets because it was difficult to tell if the sheets on the bed were clean . Sheets are very thin and worn which is why it appeared they weren't changed but probably were . The pillows have no protective cover and the pillows are stained terribly so nothing between your face and a very used pillow except a thin pillow case . One of the beds was missing the mattress cover . When we showered the water never became hot , just luke warm . The tub was stained . Breakfast offered the normal hotel options , eggs , sausage , waffles , bagels etc . Zach was working hard helping with breakfast and running the front desk . The staff was nice and working hard to keep up but corporate needs to step up and update things starting with the bedding. We won't be staying there again .
