It was a perfectly good low-cost hotel room. They had a coffee service which I hadn’t expected. They have soap and shampoo. It’s a little bleak, but not too bad. Nice view of the Ohio Turnpike. Direct driveway to the hotel was really bumpy, Best to go through the parking lot of the mall to access the facility.

First room one of the beds was broken. When my daughter just set a small bag of clothes on it it flipped over. So was moved into the smaller room, even though I paid more for a second floor and the bigger room with a few extra amenities like a hair dryer. Had to go down to the office and ask for a hair dryer, first was given resistance then told they will bring one to the room in a hour. Over 6 hours later not there, back to the front desk and was told there should be one in my room. Explained again that they downgraded me without any refund either and after ten minutes of him searching finally got one. Shower and toiletries provided are garbage. Homeless people all around the property, both ice machines didn’t work. Dog barking all night in the room Nextdoor.

The room smelled of smoke. It was renovated so it could be in the paint. After the air ran for a few minutes it wasn't as noticeable. The building itself is older and was sloppily painted to make it look better (lipstick on a pig). The staff were kind but did not ask if it was ok to charge the card the reservation was made on (I wanted to use a different one). I was asked for my license and 30 secs later was handed the keys and receipt. Overall, the place was quiet; the parking lot needs repaving; its located near empty commercial property which gives more places for larger vehicles to park but there's no lighting; the upstairs is enclosed with LED lighting for the hallway; and the room doors should have the security locks engaged to ensure safety because of the wear and paint buildup (don"t touch - walls are sticky). The owners tried by installing more modern sinks and partially putting in cheap wood flooring. It's a job that needs more effort, not a band-aid. They tried.

The hotel caught fire on March 4th. The evacuation was handled well by the night staff. Kudos to them. But upper management failed to make any decisions to help accommodate those that were stranded. Luckily, power was restored and the occupants were allowed back into their rooms. However, I was told that other accommodations were made and to drive 20 minutes to a sister hotel for a room. I was turned away and told to go back to the red roof as they were able to reopen the building. I spent three hours outside and got the run around from upper management's poor decision making during a crisis in one of their buildings. Who is the private owner????

Checked in but he had to go see if the bed was made first. Room was not clean, blood on a pillowcase, crumbs on floor between bed and night stand, something running down the door of the refrigerator. In general just not clean.

I've stayed here every year for the last four years and everything has been fine up until this year. Went into the room and there was dust everywhere. Not just a little dust, weeks worth. Everything was dirty, the floor was sticky. The tv didn't work nor the fridge. They moved us to a new room and it wasnt as dusty but you can see how dirty it was in the pictures. Check out the mirror! No shampoo, no conditioner, no coffee. I set a plastic bag down on the desk and it stuck there. Speaking of desk, there was no chair. Worst stay I've had at a hotel in years. . I will never stay there again. Ok, it will not let me upload pictures, but I promise I have them and its not pretty.

This place is trash. Big dumpster full of trash at the door. Had to move that to get in. Room stunk. Whole are smelled like weed. Comforter was dirty. Holes in the wall near the bed. Didn’t feel safe. Needless to say we requested a refund and left.

The place was dirty, old food spilled in the refrigerator, dead bugs on the floor, wet towel in the bathroom, microwave did not work properly, sink leaked. When my husband went into the bathroom his walker would not fit. Not handicap safe.

Sheets were dirty and full of spots, the whole room was very risty, there were dirt on the floors and tables and it smelled like weed. Very noisy, i felt unsafe the whole time. Staff was very unfriendly.

The other motel in this price range in this area does not have drawers, just shelves. I like drawers better. The shower is nice. The wifi works well. My dog stays for free! No complaints from me about this Red Roof Inn.

Convenient location, right off the highway, with plenty of dining and stores. Pet friendly, yes! Good pressure and temperature in shower, bed was reasonably comfortable. WiFi and cable worked fine. Rooms are very small, pillows are hard and lumpy. We probably wouldn’t stay more than one night, but for a brief stopover it’s fine.

Previous experience here made us double back when we needed a place to stay for a night. Thank you Rich for being very helpful, kind, & courteous to my wife & I. For the price it was worth the stay!!! Staff are very friendly!! Big love to the maintenance team too for keeping the rooms nice, organized, neat, & clean!!!! Also, management should give all staff a raise!!!!

Easy check in and check out. Had to call front desk, had no bath towels and only 1 pillow per bed. 3 and half hours later I talked to the manager and he took care of it right away! Uggg at being on second floor at the end, heared the outside door open and close all nite

the area was very scary so I doubled dead bolted the door and kept my drapes closed tight. The employees were very nice and efficient and one of the staff named Michelle came to check on me. The room was clean and nice though.

I didn't feel safe on the property. There was a lot of homeless around the building and drug use and talk about drugs. The bed was slanted and not comfortable. I didn't even stay the night and the hotel would not refund my stay even with these issues.

We sometimes stay at Red roof locations when we travel with our dog because of a better than average dog policy. This location is a bit run down though. The room was a bit smokey which happens at many locations when the cleaning staff smokes. The parking lot had lots of people hanging out in their cars which was weird and unsafe feeling. Lots of people outside smoking pot. The room was mostly clean, but the bed was saggy and years beyond it's replacement date.

I didn't like the fact that there was no iron and no iron board in the room. The furniture was terrible especially the chairs. I couldn't sit in them. I told the housekeeper. Nothing done. Was there for 2 days. Also the smell was horrible in the hall. The air conditioner in the room was so loud couldn't sleep. Website said free breakfast - there was nothing. It's the only reason I chose the hotel.
