What guests think

Reviews of Courtyard by Marriott Saratoga Springs highlight friendly, accommodating staff and a convenient, walkable location, with many guests describing comfortable rooms and smooth stays, plus appreciated touches like easy parking and seasonal shuttles to local attractions.

However, several note no daily housekeeping, inconsistent room servicing, and cleanliness issues in the pool and gym areas. Some report unreliable or paid internet, limited TV channels, and occasional in-room maintenance problems such as faulty showers, HVAC, safes, or door locks. Expect a convenient stay with solid basics and useful amenities, but check housekeeping schedules and tech details.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pool area was extremely disappointing. The pictures of the pool, make the main pool look very big, when in reality it is very very small. The water was VERY cloudy and even murky. The flooring around the hot tub was cracked, and dirty looking. It is apparent that this area is not well maintained. I did not appreciate the deceiving pictures on the website. I would've went somewhere else, as we chose to go there for the pool and couldn't even enjoy it.

Great hotel for all! Walkable to town, for stores, restaurants etc etc. During horse racing season a free trolley bus service from the hotel to the race track is a great bonus! Also during race season, a bistro for evening dining, indoors or outdoors! Champagne on arrival, small indoor swim pool, and outdoor fire pits all added to our hotel fun!

Bree was wonderful at the front desk at check and throughout our stay. Bree seem to be working all the time well, sweet lady. The hotel looked fairly fresh but some attention could be paid to cleanliness in the pool and hot tub area. For a 5 night stay we had our room serviced only one time - not great. The gym needed cleaning it was never even vacuumed- I clean up some debris once as I could take it being there day after day. The property could be better cleaned and cared for. Nice people working there however!

Cleanliness

Cleanliness feedback is mixed: many found rooms and common areas clean, but others reported unclean bathrooms or a dirty first room, cloudy pool water, and a gym that wasn’t regularly cleaned. Housekeeping is not daily and room servicing felt inconsistent.

the location was convenient. I do not like the room cleaning schedule. While the room was to be cleaned every other day, food was left in the fridge from the previous occupant and we had trouble closing our curtains. So, a couple of times, they did a refresh, and only once in 5 days was the room really cleaned and the beds made. The little breakfast place was well done, and the front desk staff were great.
