This property is under construction 🏗️ June 23,2025 Lots of workers vehicles in parking lot resurfacing outside walls Big cranes being used. Check-in was speedy and efficient. Elevator was 🚫not working. The refrigerator froze everything and is difficult to open the door.it was squished between the air conditioning and table.if it was put in the middle of the two tables it would be accessible or change the door opening. The pool air condituoning was not 🚫 working and temperature inside air was not 🚫 The doors were opened to let iN the 99° outside! The pool 💦 was uncomfortably hot! ✅My room was handicapped accessible. ✅ Air-conditioning worked✅Nice TV ✅ Free wifi ✅ Variety of breakfast items, toast, bagels 🥯 muffins, scrambled eggs, assorted juices, cereal and milk. The pool was in nice shape and looks like some care was taken in there. Room was clean and in good shape. The elevator is scary, bounces and grinds...Definitely needs repair. The staff are always very nice.

The elevator was out Saturday and Sunday. Never disclosed on website property was under construction. Cleanliness just ok bugs in drawers and dirt on and around the ac unit. The window wouldn’t even close all the way. Toilet seat wasn’t attached. Need a shower curtain that actual repeals water instead of letting it was through to the bathroom floor. The pool was hotter than the hot tub. The breakfast served was one of the best parts of the stay. Staff was pleasant. Just feel they needed to be upfront about the construction.

The pool was closed. the ice machine on our floor was broken. When I sat down on the arm chair in our room, the seat cushion collapsed almost onto the floor (I am not that heavy). And there were only two bath towels, one hand-towel and one washcloth for a room with two guests. The place had a generally run-down feeling.But the bed was very comfortable

This hotel was great. The heated pool and hot tub were open early and closed late. The kids had a ball in that area where there was chairs and tables. We got Little Cesars pizza accross the street and ate at the pool. Breakfast was great..waffles, bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereal and much more. The place is being renovated, and the shower needs work...cant take a bath there..but it was a great price and worth it! The Champlain mall.is 8 min walk away, Walmart, Applebee's, and more is 5 min drive. We felt safe there and the staff were very nice.

La Quinta needs to invest in this property. We had a great stay and a great vacation, but the hotel is run down a bit. 1. The La Quinta sign was broken, so you can't really see it from the road (they are working to fix it). 2. The pool and hot tub were broken. 3. The elevator broke on day two. 4. The vending machine was also broken. This is why they need to get this place going. 1. Its a great location right off exit of 87. You dont even need to turn on the main street. 2. Mall and movie theater are right behind the building. 3. Butcher Block is next door and a great place to grab food. Everything you need is right off that street. Also staff were very friendly

We really enjoyed the breakfast. They had eggs and bacon as well as cream cheese and pastries. However we did not know that the hotel was under construction prior to booking. Also, the elevator was broken which might be a problem for some people.

This hotel has gone downhill. There were numerous people standing around, smoking weed in the parking lot and the lobby itself reeked of weed in spite of it being a nonsmoking facility. The clerk seemed high too. The breakfast area was dirty. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and my bed was a mess even after the cleaners came through.

We had issues with the toilet not flushing. I advised the receptionist and cleaning crew. We were there for 4 days and nothing was done. I had to keep the toilet lid off to keep making the toilet fill up with water. There was lady bugs all over the ceiling.

I book this room for 1 night that cost me almost $200, clearly nobody clean the room before our arrival, there were some hair in shower and in the bed, the comforter were dirty, the floor, the doors and the mirrors was dirty. The drawer was broken.....For the breakfast in the morning after, there was some powder eggs, dry bacon and no fruits.

Disapointing. The cleanliness is very bad. There are more than a dozen dead flies hiding behind the curtains on the windowsill. There are many yellow spots in the coffee machine, which seem to be insect eggs. The rest of the hotel is OK, but the cleanliness problem makes me feel very bad!

Linens were DISGUSTING. Literally threadbare. Fitted sheet had holes and was entirely pilled. (took pics) Pillows are lumps of foam shoved into a scratchy case. Rugs were gross. Bathroom and sink area not well cleaned. The staff couldn’t seem less interested if they tried. For the nurse who reviewed this hotel and said it was one of the “cleanest”, I based my reservation upon your review. You should be restricted from feedback because, wow. Staff had trouble finding my reservation/used booking platform. Happens often. Disappointed with this chain and will avoid at all costs. Nasty.

Rooms were dirty. Cobwebs, Ceiling fan caked in dust. Black hairs in bedding that were not mine. Outside of the property is under construction with Tyvek wrap. Furniture in room stained with who knows what. Sink and tub filthy. The property should be closed down.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, room was clean and nice that it had a fridge and microwave. There is a full breakfast and a pool with hot tub also. Elevator isnt in great shape and halls smell of pot constantly

Very hard to sleep very noisy you can hear everyone in every room. People yelling well past midnight. Also very bright even with curtain/liner closed still light in room. No way to set air to have fan on constantly to try and cover the noisy.

Room 407 the air conditioning have a crazy loud vibration, i had trouble to sleep because of the vibrations that the machine do .Unfortunately I notice the sound only when it was time to sleep . Otherwise i would have asked to change room

I was worried about our stay because I had read some mixed reviews. However, I was very pleased eith every aspect of the trip. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, wood laminate floor, no carpet. The heat worked, the TV worked and we had a little refrigerator. Breakfast was more than adequate. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, some cold cereals, coffee and OJ. I would stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine, but the service was lousy. We did receive a warm welcome when we registered, but otherwise the staff was not friendly. No "good mornings" and staff was mostly unseen. Lots of foul language heard from staff in the office behind the reception desk. Won't be staying at this particular location again.

I usually stay at the Fairfield Inn, however they jacket up the price, so I was will to try La Quinta. 1/2 the price for basically same room, and a better breakfast offer. I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I plan on being back.

We stayed 2 nights and expected our room would be made up with fresh towels and more toilet paper after the first night but it wasn't. The room was clean when we arrived though. We asked for towels at the desk but only got 2 out of 3 because there wasn't any more in the laundry room. Iron in the room was broken but we were supplied with a working one by the front desk. Room keys worked sporadically so it was a pain having to go to the front desk repeatedly to have them reactivated. I will say all the staff that I dealt with were very helpful and friendly but it seems they were dealing with short staff as the room maids were no where to be found. We picked this property because of the great room rates.

First floor room was unsafe. The window could not be locked, and the adjoining door was not locked. We were given a first room floor because the elevator was broken and they said we should’ve received a text which we had not. The room was also without toilet paper which the front desk had difficulty finding. When she brought us the roller toilet paper as we were noticing that the room was not able to be secured we advised her that we would be checking out. I told her I could not sleep in a room could be securely locked and especially on the first floor. The front desk was nice enough to assist us and made notes on our Reservation as to why we were checking out and gave me the name of the manager (Kevin) to call the next day regarding a refund. Despite calling multiple times and leaving messages I’m with staff; he was not available and did not return my phone call for the next two days Travelocity declined my refund via email stating the I had not gotten approval from manager (as predicted by the competitor we stayed with - who along with many others guessed the name of the hotel we had checked-out from without us even telling them because of the known condition of the hotel). Money or not - my safety and that of my daughter come first!

I've stayed there one other time and was just as happy as with this stay. They are under some outdoor construction but it doesn't interfere with anything. It's perfectly located just off the Northway exit. Plenty of businesses to shop at and many places to eat. Plattsburgh isn't that big. Many places within driving distance.

Excellent location close to all gas, restaraunts all within walking distance. The shower was hot with great pressure, but the towels were rather thin and scratchy. The bed was comfortable and the room very good. Breakfast was excellent with sausage and eggs, fresh fruit and all the standard muffins/bagels/cereral, etc. The pool and hot tub hours were awesome 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. That was a nice bonus.

Room was clean but bathroom tub took a while to drain. Pool was open but hot tub was not available. Beds are comfy. Breakfast was okay nothing fantastic. Few choices such as scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, bagels, cereal. Juice was watered down and would of liked yogurt and more variety of pastries but it came with the cost of the hotel whoch was resonable. All in all a good stay

Getting a text at 8:12c in the a.m. wanting to know when we were checking out was not the desired wakeup call. Consequently we decided to go for the breakfast in the lobby rather than Dennys at 11:00/ What a mistake !! The choice was stand in line and make your waffle or have nothing. No plates( only bowls), no jam ( only syrup and butter ) were the options available. What a farce to call this breakfast ! OJ was coloured water- no orange taste at all. Worst breakfast ever at a Wyndhams !!

There were no towels in my room. The breakfast room was cramped and they ran out of coffee. Parking was difficult and the area around the hotel was dirty. I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting my daughter and her family, but I don't know if I will do so again.

The building was under renovation and this was not disclosed to me. Dining room attendant gentleman was very rude. At checkout I asked for a printout of my bill and was told it was in my email.
